We had to fly out of state for a work trip — we’ve never left our dog with anyone or at a boarding facility. We were so anxious, but the team at Diggity Dog were so kind and understanding! We took him there for daycare a few times to make sure he’d be able to get along with the other pups. Every time he goes, he comes back happy and exhausted! When we dropped him off for his stay, it was hard not to cry we had nothing to worry about though!We thankfully get to pick up our sweet boy tomorrow, and we can’t wait! We’ve received photo and video updates of Neruda having the time of his life. I can tell the people working there love dogs, and that he’s had a great time. This is the place to take your pup!

I would recommend diggity dog to everyone!! Our Kota has been going there for almost 2 years and absolutely loves it. The staff treat her and treat us like family and we have had nothing short of an amazing experience with them. Kota is our baby and we trust them 1000%. She comes home every day the happiest dog and has been taken care of like a princess while at daycare and boarding. Shout out to them for being such a great facility!

Diggity is Charlie’s home away from home, literally. Not only does he attend daycare but twice I have had to board him for extended periods and is so well cared for and loved. We have been with Diggity for almost eleven years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. The staff has always been polite and helpful, they receive excellent training and just plain love dogs. Michelle, Will, Charlie,and Heather are wonderful. You just can’t do better.

Michelle and Heather are top notch. Diggity Dog is excellent. I always feel safe leaving my girl all day, and even over night and long boarding periods. I wouldn’t leave my girl with anyone else. Friendly, well kept, and recommend to anyone who wants their pupper to be safe and have a great experience.

Diggit Dog is fabulous! I have been taking my dog Theo for daycare and boarding at Diggity Dog for three years. My dog loves DD. Theo is greeted by either Bob or William in the morning, and can’t wait for me to leave! Lisa, the groomer is also very talented, Theo always looks great after a grooming session! And Michelle, the owner is caring and loves what she does!I would highly recommend Diggity Dog for your pets needs.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!I brought my dog here to get her nails done and it was the worst experience i’ve ever had. First red flag they don’t ask for any records of shots or vets. I should have left at that point but i didn’t because i drove pretty far to come here. Second red flag was they didn’t ask any questions about her just took her straight to the back. When she came out she was bleeding badly and very upset. My dog is a very sweet and happy girl and has very good temperament. The guy had zero urgency to help stop the bleeding. It wasn’t until I started getting upset that he even offered any help. Her foot is soaked in blood and there is blood on her face. I am also have blood on me from her. She is still very upset and it breaks my heart because this has never happened ever before in her life and i’ve had her since she was 5 weeks old. He blamed it that her quicks are grown out too far but i get her nails done every 4 to 6 weeks depending on how fast they grow. Her nails were not long or overgrown they just needed a small buff that’s all. He took them down wayyy too short and that’s why he hit her quick. I now am paying for medical expenses because the salon isn’t making sure every dog is up to date on shots and my dog may have been exposed to something. I seriously don’t understand how they have so many good reviews.

I was in town for my father’s funeral and had to bring my canine pal Lexi along. She is an older rescue and had never been in a hotel before and was barking at every sound she heard, so much so at times there was no sleep for anyone. I couldn't leave her in the hotel alone as she would bark and paw at the door whenever I left the room. My sister looked around for a doggy daycare I could take her to be during the funeral and she found Diggity Dog, what a godsend!!! They emailed me the application and I was able to electronically submit it, along with her vaccinations overnight, and on the way to the funeral I was able to get her there to have her temperament tested to ensure she was friendly enough and would be safe for other dogs and people. She was excited and having fun with other dogs when I picked her up that night and I took her back the next two days so I could visit with family before we had to return to Phoenix. All the staff I engaged with (JJ, Kelly, Sage, Brian?, Brent) were friendly and really good with Lexi. She was happy every day and excited to play with the other dogs there. The place was very clean and inviting and I now have a place where she can be, and be happy, so I can plan another trip knowing she won't ever have to be left alone. It is also very affordable for the daycare; it was not nearly what I thought I would have to pay for such a great place with such personable services! Great job DD Team!!!

10/10 recommend this locally owned business! We brought our two boys there for a weekend stay and the employees went above and beyond to care for our fur babies as good as we would have if we hadn’t left town. We sent our dogs with pillows and blankets but had we forgotten, they had pillows and blankets to borrow so our doggos would be cozy in the crate. They sent me photos throughout the day and were so accommodating to our travel schedule. I thought when I got home, I would need to do a dog bath and wash all the beds, toys, and linens we had sent with them, but… NOPE. Diggity dog sent my boys and all our supplies home clean. Talk about above and beyond service!! Thank you Diggity dog! We will be back for daycare and boarding very soon!

I had taken my Miniature Pinscher COCO here for the first time yesterday to complete a free " Temperament Test" the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable... They made me feel comfortable enough to bring our family pet here... William and Lexi we're so helpful in answering all of my questions and answering the phone when I had called multiple times to check in on her LOL the only downfall is the location! There's tons of homeless outside of the business. It honestly made a little nervous walking up to the door.. and especially boarding her for days at a time.. I would have to say that would be the only downfall... Everything else was perfect!

I decided to get my dog groomed at Diggity Dog Resort because I had once been affiliated with the business and believed the groomer I had previously worked with would have instilled a good groomer ethic in the business, resulting in a good current groomer. Turns out, it's the same woman!! LISA is an amazing groomer and she's the one who's there now!! I took my miniature Aussie in for his firs ever professional groom. He was looking real bad. He had quite a bit of matting, his hair was wiley! It was many inches long in some places. No joke, this boy needed a good groom. Well Lisa left him PERFECT. He looks years younger and the shaping she was able to achieve is remarkable! She has been a groomer for over 30 years and she knows what she's doing. Also, I was super happy knowing my dogs was being left with someone who really cares about dogs so even though it was Winston's first time, he would be comfortable. She knows how to treat dogs. This woman is an ANIMAL LOVER and I am thrilled she was there to be the one to groom my dog. I give her TEN STARS!

It’s amazing how the employees love and remember the dogs. Our pups especially love William! It’s so nice that they really get to know the dogs needs and take care of them just like we would. WARNING: to all dog owners who get their dogs groomed at Diggity Dog. I have taken my dog to Diggity dog for about a year now and every time I have been absolutely thrilled with them. Lisa the groomer has been fantastic and is truly a wizard with doodles. However, this most recent time that I have taken my dog was a complete DISASTER. He was dropped off at 7:55am (5 minutes earlier than his expected time) and was taken right back. He has a lot of anxiety and although he doesn’t love going to the groomers, Lisa does well with him. She said, “we will see you in a few hours” and I thought that sounded great. So, as it was approaching 12:00pm I decided to run an errand in south Salt Lake so that I would be closer to where he was to easily come pick him up. I started to get a little worried as to what might be taking so long as this was over the normal time it takes for his grooming. Like I said he has gone there numerous times (on Saturdays) and every time he has been finished in 2-3 hours. The fact that it had been 4 hours was weird, but I decided to brush it off so as not to annoy them with a phone call. However, I started to become increasingly worried as the time was now 2:00pm. My dog had been there for 6 HOURS. I decided this was a good time to call as I hadn’t heard anything. When I called and I voiced my concern about the time, Amanda was very indifferent and acted like she couldn't care less that I was distressed about my dog. While on the phone and said she had just started on him. After 6 hours of being there. He was JUST barely being groomed. At this point I was furious that he was kept in a kennel for 6 hours (he is never kept in a kennel that long at home) and told her I wanted to cancel his grooming and I would come pick him up. She said that she had already started on him and said it would be about 45 minutes. Amanda could obviously tell I was not happy (I never raised my voice or said anything unkind towards her), but there was not one apology for the time or not communicating to me. She had said it was because they had 6 dogs that day and because it was a Saturday it was busy. Which, if that is the case it should be communicated to the customer. It was finally about 2:50pm when he was finished. I went to go pick him up and I asked her to confirm that he had been in a kennel for 6 hours and was told yes, but he received water and was taken out to go potty. I asked to speak to the owner (Michelle). After giving her a call to explain how unhappy I was about how the situation was handled and that he would never be coming back. Michelle explained to me that she was sorry and that the next place I took him to I should ask what their grooming schedule was. At Diggity they take all the dogs in at 8:00am and then groom them and that was why it had taken 7 HOURS even though he was probably one of the first to arrive. She stated this was their policy/procedure of how they did things. I told her that her team needed to tell their clients that this was their schedule and let them know their dog could be there for up to 7 hours for grooming. I was NEVER told this and had I been told that I could’ve saved myself the stress and anger of this whole situation. I don’t know why they don’t have a better schedule that would accommodate timing better so that dogs are not just sitting there for 6 hours waiting for their turn. The thought of him sitting in a kennel for that long makes me sick. I would have happily brought him back at 1:00pm so that he was only waiting for an hour to be groomed. I am extremely disappointed in Diggity Dog and very saddened that this was the end to taking my dog there. I truly hope that they learn from this experience to communicate better with their clients and set realistic expectations or develop a better schedule. DO NOT take your dog there unless you are willing to have them sit in a kennel for up to 6 hours.

I have been taking my dog here for grooming for probably at least 6 months. Every time I take her in for a full groom they tell me that a nail trim is included but yet the nails keep getting longer and longer! Every time I ask they tell me oh ya sure we will trim the nails but the nails are now extremely over grown and long! I will no longer be taking my dog for grooming. I will find someone who will follow through with what I pay for! Grooming is not cheap I only ask to get what I pay for! I give 2 stars for the friendly staff!my dog never comes back acting like there is a problem.

I have had dogs my whole life INCLUDING a K9. I've taken them over the years to various grooming establishments. Diggity Dog by far is the most professional, caring, kind AS well as pet loving businesses I have encountered. My girl gets so excited when she's told she is going to the beauty parlor because she knows where she's going. I recommend Diggity Dog to all my friends, Family, and furry friends too. GREAT JOB GUYS, especially LISA!!!

I've dropped my boys off here a few times and they go absolutely bonkers every time they're here. They love it. Great staff that loves and cares for the dogs, and great vetting to make sure all the dogs are friendly and able to play together. I can't recommend this place enough for it's big outdoor area. It's great all around!

My dog Dakota used to board here occasionally and she loved it. She passed a few months ago and when I called to make an appointment for my new puppy, they asked about Dakota and were SO kind when they heard she passed. When I dropped the new puppy off for her first day, they told me how much they loved Dakota (even though she only stayed maybe once a year) and their kindness was overwhelming. My new puppy Luna was welcomed like family. As soon as I brought her in, the staff got down on the floor and loved on her, let her give kisses, and gave her all the attention! They always seem excited when I drop her off and Luna has never been happier. It’s great knowing that Luna is having fun with other dogs and doing it in a safe environment. Taking your dog here is money well spent!

We have gone to several doggy daycares and this is the only one our little Suka isn’t afraid to be at. The staff treats our dog so well and we are so happy with the service, I’ll never go anywhere else. There is a competing daycare right next to my work but I’ll drive the 20 minutes out of the way so my dog can be somewhere that makes her feel safe and happy. I take my dog to Diggity because they are the best. Thank you to Will and all the other staff. They are perfect and we are very grateful for them.

This is the first time I’ve ever been to Diggity Dog, I am very happy with the way not only myself was treated but the way my dog was treated as well. The lovely lady who groomed my dog was the sweetest.When I went to pick up my dog he was loving on her and that shows a lot since he has trauma and doesn’t like people in general. They took their time with him and I would recommend anyone there. Also any dog who walked in for daycare seemed really excited and all the customers told me “I would love it” and they were right. I will be returning! Thank you guys

She starts screaming with excitement the second we turn onto their street and on the drive home she falls asleep within 2 minutes. I highly recommend this place!v

This is the best doggy day care and boarding we’ve found so far for our two little pug-dachshunds. We tried Camp Barkalot and Old Farm Pet Resort and found Diggity Dog to be superior to both combined. We have no experience taking big dogs there, only our 15 lbs little ones. Clean areas, happy staff, good hours, and our dogs come home peaceful and healthy.

I started taking Ace to Diggity Dog after our last place closed. It’s hard to leave him when I travel so it’s amazing to know he’s being well taken care of and having an awesome time playing with his friends. Everyone there is so nice and treat him like he’s their own. They are also very accommodating with pick up or if I need to extend or shorten Ace’s stay. He never even says goodbye when we get there haha, he’s so excited to go inside! I’m very grateful to have found Diggity Dog!

My dog loves going here! The staff is amazing. He goes in the small dog side and he gets to play with all the small dogs and gets attention from the staff. They have crates that he can go in to take a break so he isn’t overwhelmed if he is there all day. Their hours are so convenient for me. The price is great. I also use have used their boarding service and have been very happy with it.

They take such good care of our goldendoodle and remember him and his favorite dogs to play with week to week. We also groom him there and they do a great job.
