Great Food and Highly recommended!We came during the end of dinner rush, which was good since we were a bunch of Starving Snowboarding Students. We had shakes and burgers and fries. The Fries were really fantastic, and the burgers were actual burgers, fresh and high quality. The shakes were also great! The prices were great as well, since we are all broke college students, and they are more bang for your buck!!

We were traveling through Parowan and decided to stop and get something to eat. We used Google maps to locate a fast food place, and Dairy Freeze was our first choice. This was also a nostalgic stop because there used to be a Dairy Freeze in our town years ago, and it was our favorite place to eat. There were several people dining in, so it must great local stop. The dining area was really clean, and the atmosphere was normal for a small town diner. The walls above the windows had photos of local activities like the rodeo, ball games, dances, etc. It was fun looking at them all and noticing how much pride this drive-inn had for their community.The day staff were really nice and friendly. They were all busy working and seemed to really like being here. After we ordered, they brought us our drinks (there wasn't a self- serve soda machine in the dining area). We didn't have to wait long for our food either. The food was good, and tasted reminiscent of quality fast food places. The fries were hot and crispy, and the chicken and hamburger were just right. My cheeseburger came with cheese, of course, a decent amount of pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, mayo, and some mustard. I forgot to ask my husband what sauces he had on his chicken sandwich, but he said the amount of mayo was perfect for him. We started eating before I took photos of our food, so there is a bite or two taken out of our sandwiches.We really like this fast food diner and plan to stop by pretty much every time we come by Parowan. I highly recommend taking the time to come into Parowan during your travels along I15 and grabbing a meal here. You'll leave with a happy tummy.Kid-friendliness: There are several high chairs and booster seats available for kids, lots of toy and candy machines for them to spend their extra coins in. I didn't get very good pictures of them because there were people sitting or standing near them, and I never pictures of others without their permission. There are portions of the tops of these machines in some of the pictures.

Very impressed by this home town Dairy Freeze! We grabbed ice cream through the drive-through and really enjoyed the experience. Prices were super great! We got a Fresh Lime, vanilla cone, and a vanilla waffle cone and everything was under $6! Super quick and the gal at the drive-through window was super nice. Highly recommend for a quick sweet-tooth fix. We didn't try any food, but will definitely be stopping in again soon!

The food here is pretty good, a great little local business to help support. They have really good burgers too, my husband and I say it's better than the Burger Bar in Ogden Utah. Service could be better but you know the food is really good.

This little fast food gem is tucked away in quaint Parowan, a little off the freeway but worth the detour. The burger was great. The drink was, well, a soda. OMG, the scones! A large is actually two small scones. Doesn't matter, you're not going to want to share. A hole poked in the middle like a good scone should have, warm, pillowy, slight crunch on the outside, absolutely perfect. A couple packets of honey butter included, just the perfect amount. Leave with a great burger but come for the scones!

Great mom and pop type fast food place. Clearly, training was happening in the back of the house. I believe the wife/husband team (my interpretation of workers I saw), were working together very well and were excellent at leading their young staff. I spent 16 years in the fast food business at many levels, I was impressed. They'll only get better it seems. Maybe, in the future, they'll even be open during a high school football game taking place right across the street 😄👍Parking: Parking was at a premium during lunch on Saturday. Would give negative stars if I could. Charged us $8.99 for a shake that wasn’t even priced on their menu. 2 price options. We assumed that meant small and large. We ordered the large and assuming it was $4.99. it came out to $8.99. When I asked about it the little waitress was so rude. I said we assumed there was only 2 sizes because of the two prices. And I said you need to update your menu because we didn’t want this $9 shake. She was so rude and said the owner is my brother in law, I’ll talk to him and rolled her eyes. Not even asking what could she do to make it better. Do not eat there.

I'm giving it 2 stars because I used to enjoy going here. However, the waits have been getting longer and longer. My friend and I just waited in the drive-thru for LITERALLY an hour for our food (it wasn't a big order--there were 2 of us). We would have left except our food was already paid for and we were blocked in by other cars. When we finally got out, there were still 2 vehicles ahead of us who had been waiting longer than us. I can't (and won't) be coming here anymore on my lunch break because the wait alone is longer than my lunch break, so it's not doable.

If I’m in Parowan, I always go to Dairy Freeze. The burgers are always fantastic, with the ram burger being their signature. Their onion rings and fries are amazing, as is their popcorn chicken. The service is always great here, and the pricing is very reasonable.

Owners are jerks. We spent $76. On lunch for 6 people. My granddaughters were part of the crowd. My one granddaughter lost .25 in the machine. We told the owner, he said we do not reimburse lost quarters. He gets a commission on the sales and won't reimburse a 3 year old. 4th time here. It will be our last. Can't support a place run by jerks to little kids.

Onion rings overcooked, No tomatoes slice on burger, presentation was not not good Will I eat here again ? No. I was told the food was really good. Boy was he wrong. But they were really busy.Parking: This place is made for locals only. If you're in a hurry don't stop here.

Love their shakes, malts, and burgers. They have a large variety of items on their menu from mexican to chicken sandwiches to burgers and fries, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. All of the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and made to order.Kid-friendliness: Teenagers are in the restaurant at all hours, being there is a high school across the street its not a surprise.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant can be a bit crowded and hard to maneuver through with a wheelchair at some times...but that is a testament to how good their food really is and people are usually fairly polite about moving to let a wheelchair through to the line to order. Also they have a very convenient wide drive-thru that even most larger wheelchair vans can get through.

So I have been here many times. Being the only ice cream place in town, I like it. Though I have many opinions about this place. First off, the drive-thru is ridiculous. We ordered 4 ice creams, and the car behind us ordered food and drinks. They got their items way before we did and had to wait until we had gotten ours. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. A bunch of teenage girls who have no sense of customer service. I was ordering while the girl rolled her eyes at me and halfway through explaining what I wanted, she turned around the started chatting with the other one about school. I waited patiently and she turned back around and told me my total. I had to explain to her that I had more things on my list, and she rolled her eyes again. On my way out (I ordered takeout) I am carrying 3 ice creams (they serve you those first, so I sat there while they melted as I waited for my chicken fingers and fries) and the other items. I struggled carrying everything as I made my way out. No one offered to grab me a bag, drink carrier or hold the door open. Not even a "have a good day" or "thank you". Literally the worst staff. Long story short, I love the food but I dread the social aspect.

Stopped in on the way home from rockhounding. Our server was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu for us. The burrito special is a frozen beef & bean burrito, deep fried and covered with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream & guacamole. It was very tasty. The banana milkshake was thick and creamy. Very happy we stopped in!

The burger was the worst burger I've ever had. The shakes were ok. Everything is set up in a way that you have to ask for everything you need. Napkin, fork, spoon, straw, water. The workers seemed worn out. Probably partly from all of our asking. Busy family spot. The fries were good. The english chips were not typical english chips. More like battered potatoes.

i went to dairy freeze last week & got 3 shakes & they were melted & not even full to the brim of the cup. if i pay over 5 dollars for a small shake it should be worth what i pay for & when i got back to the TA which is not far from dairy freeze our shakes were fully melted but at the end of the day dairy freeze has gone down hill & they have very poor service (or at least night shift), rude employees, & overpriced food & drinks. this place has gotten absolutely ridiculous from the last time i had been there & the boy with the light hair & ponytail was extremely rude as well at the older lady that was right next to him at the window.

Surprisingly good for a small town burger place. I had the Malibu Chicken and it was crisp and still moist. I ordered fries and got English chips instead. Not sure if that how they always are? I have eaten here several times passing through and it's always been made fresh.

This place has gone down hill 👎Poor service! Super slow staff that would rather eat and hangout. The only kid that i saw working was the red headed boy cooking up burgers, sweating his butt off.Need management that is on site that cares about Quality and Service.

They have very good food. Its definitely not a regular fast food place. It takes longer to get your food, but it's worth the wait and they have great malts! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the parowan area and looking for an authentic old fashioned fast food place!
