This is a brand new park as of July 2023. Very well laid out. All sites are pull through...long and wide. Our rig is 62' overall and we fit with room to spare. The owners are wonderful.Good distance from I-15 so no freeway noise. And no park lights at night... it's dark. Good star gazing.Brian Head ski resort is just up the canyon. Good restaurants and a small grocery store close. The park is still in the construction phase with new amenities breaking ground in 2024 (pool, pickle ball, etc.). Pretty level spots. Well placed utilities and hookups. Wifi speed was 6mb/sec which is pretty good all things considered. No issues streaming but there were very few of us in the park (early in the season). We stopped in due to very high winds and coming bad weather. Was not a mistake and will stay here again and again. Beats offerings in Cedar City.

We stayed here during the annular eclipse and it was a wonderful experience. The bathrooms and showers are very nice and clean! The wifi was excellent, we were able to stream football with no issues at all. All hookups worked as expected. It is a brand new RV park with great plans for the future. This is a great location because it is centrally located with lots of attractions less than 1 hour away. Scott was very helpful in telling us great ideas for hikes and attractions in the area that are good for young families with children. We will definitely be back someday.

Great park! This park is a gem, the sites are clean and super easy in and out. They are all pull thru sites which makes hooking up a breeze, the hook ups are strategically located and in perfect position. We traveled with our small dogs and had lots of room to walk and plenty of drop sites for pet waste. The dog park is under construction but I'm sure will be as great as the rest upon completion. They are still working on many other additions and we are looking forward to coming again! Highly recommend!!

The park is very new, the owner is great and the spaces are large with full amenities. Unfortunately there is no shade. Beware of the river rock which the sites are on. It’s a little difficult to walk on. Maybe over time it will smooth out a bit. The only suggestion I would make is a light at the sign on the road. It’s very difficult to see in the dark. But the location was great and we enjoyed our stay.

I spent five days there in May and found it to be a real jewel! It's right off of I15 and perfectly situated for easy access for any size vehicle. I had some mechanical issues and had to leave it, but the help I received from Scott, the owner, was so far over the top as to be unbelievable. I had to get to SLC and he went out of his way to help me make arrangements and provided a storage site so that I could safely leave my RV there. The facilities are brand new and the park is beautifully laid out. This will definitely be my go to park whenever I am in that area!

The location is great for a quick stop! Staff was super friendly. This place is fairly new. We stayed here 2 times. I would say the only 2 things I didn't like were the number of weeds around the facility, and they should have a policy on how your RV / 5th wheel /trailers condition is. they had a couple that were questionable. Could make some people not want to stay.

Great location with easy access off I-15. Wide roads and plenty of room for big rigs. Spotless bathrooms with showers. Nice easy hookups. We Look forward to returning in August. We’ll use this as base camp and explore Bryce Canyon and Kanarra Falls.

What a gem 💎We stay at many Rv parks while traveling, from the time we called to reserve a spot (an hour away on the road), to checking in after hours, to check out, it was a great experience. Scott is so friendly and helpful and welcoming that I will definitely be back. Fishing was just 15 minutes away, with incredible views. We went off road with our utv (rzr) and had an incredible time. If I could I’d give it 10 ⭐️’s if I could. The facility was kept clean and nice, including the laundry room.Nearby activities: Fishing at Yankee reservoir, , off road (utv) at yankee meadows. All within minutes of the park

Painted Hills is a new RV resort, just opened last year. We absolutely loved it. The laundry and showers were wonderful, the store has all kinds of cute things and check in was a breeze. The layout of the park is easy to navigate and I have to say, they have the best WiFi!! Many more things are in the process of being built: there will be a pool, pickle ball courts, basketball, a pavilion and eventually the temporary gravel will be replaced by concrete pads and trees and turf. We can’t wait to return in the next year or two to see how this remarkable park progresses.

On a trip from Yellowstone / Grand Tetons we decided we wanted to see some of Utah’s beautiful parks. We checked for a place localized because we did not have a set plan and did not have experience with the area. Scott legitimately was an Angel and made everything so EASY for us. Super friendly and helpful and just made it stress free, as we weren’t sure we could make it all the way down to his location. Felt like we were calling a best friend or family member, especially when he reached out to check on us and how we were doing! The town is small, comfy/ cozy and friendly! This place may not be at an entrance to one of the many amazing places in Utahs southern space, but it’s central, clean and the customer service was over the top in its ease and helpfulness. It’s less white glove (with all the rules /regulations) and more easy fam - call if you need anything - loved it!! This is a place to stay to use as a jumping off to many area attractions and is more utilitarian in nature.Nearby activities: Great central location for Southern Utah experiences.

Been here for a few weeks, it dumped snow the past few days - and a TON last night. The owners came by in the morning and cleared the snow off of our steps & our walkway, so freaking nice of them!!!! They have been so great to work with, and these are the kinds of things that make them stand out from other parks. 🌟 the bathrooms/laundry are incredibly clean, and it’s all for a great price!!!! Definitely recommend!

Clean, Quiet, Close…love this place. It’ll be our regular stop on trips along I-15. Just spent 4 nights at Painted Hills. The perfect base for trips to Brian Head (25 minutes), Bryce Canyon and Zion, both a little over an hour. Cedar Breaks also right up the hill (closed during winter). Good 5G signal with AT&T and Verizon. There’s a small grocery less than a mile away. Stop at the Chevron in town for a great little bakery with cinnamon rolls, pumpkin and banana bread yum. Chevron also has pull-through Propane, convenient when towing. The Painted Hills staff were so helpful giving us weather updates on our trip up and so accommodating. Full hookups including 30A/50A. Cold in winter, bring a heated water supply hose when temps below freezing. There’s a bright future ahead, stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Easy access from the highway, but the noise never bothered us. We blew a tire on the fifth-wheel about a mile from the exit. Scott called us to see how we were doing and reassured us that we could limp in without doing further damage. He then went way beyond expectations by helping get the spare on, and then finding a place with the exact tire that we needed. We ended up having a great time in the area, other than losing the tire!!!

The owner and management were helpful and kind to help us with a last minute reservation. Laundry facilities were clean. All hook-ups were easily accessible and in immaculate condition. Ideal location to Brian Head for great skiing. Will visit again!
