This hotel exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, lots of amenities as well. Just be aware there is no late check in after 10 PM. Regardless, the staff is very helpful and accommodating, even offered to stay a few minutes extra to help us check in since we were running late. We stayed there midweek and got an amazing deal, ended up being half the price of any hotel nearby. Only about an hour drive to both Zion and Bryce Canyon. If you are looking for a place to stay while exploring southern Utah, Mountain View lodge is easily your best option!

Hotel had no hot water. No one advised us of this before check in. The next morning I approached Abbey manager. She lied & said there was hot water. Chuck Driggers supposed owner pulled up in a Cadillac and had no excuse for the no hot water problem. The maintenance guy said the hot water problem was on going from last season. Tim Pettigrew CEO has been unavailable for comment. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! This is a big company who doesn't care about traveling visitors or guests.Rooms: NO HOT WATER!!!

Great place, super cheap at only $60/night. Rooms are clean, the bathroom shower tub had some hair and some dust but no major issues. The room is a little hollow sounding. Service is great, and there's a restaurant inside the hotel, right next to the front desk. The decorations inside the room are pretty cool, too. Lots of space for parking, and it's a very quiet place.

Nice place. Not fancy but comfortable and pleasant with everything that is expected plus a mini fridge that we needed (last place didn't offer one!). Friendly staff. We left early before continental breakfast which opened at 7:30am. However, another customer told us that sometimes it's after 7:30 before breakfast is available. Didn't go to the restaurant either but Thai food is served in a nice looking area. Close to the gorgeous scenic route up to Brian Head which is worth the drive.

I found this location while looking for a one night stay on a trip through the area on the way to California. To be honest, what caught my attention at first was the price. Check-in was easy and the staff is super nice, though it does seem like they are a little short staffed, so you may need to call in and inform them that you are here. They are so, so friendly! The location seems to be in a really safe area, and it was so peaceful and quiet. The room was immaculately clean and the beds are super comfortable. This place is a really great value for the price! Would absolutely stay here again!Rooms: 2 beds, very comfortable. Very clean bathroom, very clean room. They also provided a small tub of clean but stained rags to be used for spills, muddy paws, and things like that, which I thought was a great and thoughtful addition. Everything was so clean and the ac unit works very well, keeping the room very cool and comfy!

Check in was fine. The beds were comfortable, and there was a fridge, microwave, and a TV that worked great. But the room smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke. There was no hot water. The tub faucet was leaking. The towels were falling apart. No trash can in the bathroom. No breakfast. No one there at 7 in the morning to address any concerns.

They've really tried to make what was probably just a dumpy old motel into something nice. While the decor in the rooms was oddly at once too matchy and too disparate you can tell they really tried to make it look nice and homey. Their website has no pictures of a pool, but there is a pool and hot tub in a separate building across the parking lot. It's small, but clean and heated. There is no morning breakfast, but the Parowan Cafe cinnamon rolls are a must for breakfast anyway, so I didn't mind that the hotel didn't have breakfast. Overall we stay here again if we're in the area. Also the price was very reasonable and everything was really clean.

Our check in was phenomenal. We were running late and still managed to check in without issues. My only issues were the cleanliness. The floors were dirty and the area right outside our door was littered with cigarette butts. Other than that, this was a great stay for the price.

The staff were all very nice. I stayed two nights and glad I did because the first night the people in other rooms were very loud but the second night I had different "neighbors " and it was a very quiet enjoyable night. The bed was super comfortable but the bathroom definitely needs improvement. The owners have changed and I understand in October the facility will become housing for Brianhead employees. The bistro was open for lunch and dinner but I didn't eat there.

Never actual got to experience the hotel but considering the reviews I'm glad I didn't, we had and 8+ hour car ride to Utah and were booked to stay here so before we took the trip I wanted to confirm the reservations, called three different days at different times and the hotel was UNABLE to be reached, even through email which is very unprofessional. Wouldve lost out on $1,100 and 8+ hours.

The owner Sam, and all the employees were super nice and very accommodating! Very reasonably priced. The breakfast was cooked to order and hot! An area for dogs too, and a small market across the street! The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. Had some trouble with the TV but the owner came right over to fix it. I would however, suggest they clean the carpets. Bring some foot wear to wear in the room. Other than that it was a good place to stay for a couple nights!

Mountain View has been a wonderful home away from home. The owners & management are so accommodating and kind. The facility is warm and friendly. Rooms are super clean and more than comfortable, water pressure in the shower is great unlike many other places. Our family feels safe and happy to be at a resort that has caring & wonderful staff. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and dinner which is Chinese cuisine us so tasty! Overall we are having a wonderful time in Utah thanks to Mountain View Lodge.

We have stayed here several times over the years. Usually it is because it is close in proximity to my family. It has definitely improved over the years. Our room was clean and pleasant. Heater worked really well. The breakfast included with the room was simple but tasty and was served quickly. Coffee was fresh and not burnt. Staff is courteous and polite from the overnight staff that took our reservation to the breakfast server. Several touches have been added to increase enjoyment. We will look forward to staying here again.

Note: Stopped by this place on 11/05 because I noticed I couldn’t book them online anymore. They had a flier stating that rooms will reopen Spring 2023 but the restaurant will reopen December 2022zWhile snowboarding at Brian Head, this was my go to spot! The manager is always super nice and the rooms are great for the price. Never had an issue at all with any of my stays.

The rooms were pretty cool. Management was nice and very accommodating. The main overhead light switch didn’t work, but the bathroom light and the lamps worked fine so we didn’t really mind. Our main issue was with the cleaning staff. They barged into our room twice, even after we told them we had a late check out. Then the guy kept grilling me on if we actually talked to the manager, which we had and he’d told us we could stay till 1 since we got in so late the night before. Nice rooms, pretty rude cleaning staff.

Economy lodging. Nice clean rooms, front desk people were fantastic. Shower heads could benefit from replacement, but I did like the nice oversized thick cotton towels (usually in this price range they're not that great.) No breakfast, but they do offer coffee & granola bars. There's a grocery store right across the street which is very convenient. There's also a very good Chinese restaurant located at the motel, so don't miss put on that. Also, there are plenty of tables and chairs outside to sit out and enjoy the lovely evenings. Worth the extra few minutes drive from Cedar City. Easy access to Cedar Breaks National Monument.

Very happy! Will be back! The parking lot is a bit rough and the building is a little old on the outside and could use a little TLC in places but the rooms are very well maintained and kept up.Freshly updated and very clean with a clean smell (which is NO smell). The Bed linens were very clean and almost new. The bath linens were fresh and very soft. The bathroom was spotless.Very quiet overnight but the floor of our room was very squeaky so we were glad we were on the second floor so it didn't bother us at all.Breakfast is included and was served in the Chinese restaurant located on the property 6:30 to 9 before it opened to the public at 11am. Chose from a special menu of American breakfast favorites. We had scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast, waffles, fruit and coffee. This place was a great find.

I have never thought a 2 star motel can be so great. Our room is very clean, well decorated, staff is friendly and helpful. I like the decorations in the lobby and our room. There’s chair and small table right out side of your room, but it’s snowing, we did not had a chance to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere.Even though our stay was during pandemic, we had breakfast there. It’s simple but enough. Will recommend this affordable and surprisingly great accommodation to my friends and family.

Great location and value. This was our 2nd stay. Fast, friendly service. Good food, cooked to order. Market across the street. Previous review addressed the need for new floors. On this return trip, the perfume smell was so strong, couldn't breathe/sleep. I'd rather wear slippers and breathe than to deal with headache and allergies from the perfume used on carpets. Will try again next time we're driving through. Hope the old carpets will be gone and allergy-free flooring installed.

Very clean and nicely decorated room. The rate was great for such a pleasant stay. We will definitely stay here again. The staff was welcoming and even whipped up a quick breakfast for my partner when he realized he missed the free breakfast. Only minor complaint is that the walls are very thin, and the floors are thin and very creaky, so not ideal for light sleepers. But overall definitely worth more than what you pay for, a nice surprise.

This place is definitely not somewhere I would normally see and want to stay at but we had no choice due to most things being booked up for the Utah summer games. But when we walked in we were surprised by how nice the lobby was and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are very cozy and nicely decorated. The beds weren't the best but definitely not the worst. The stairs are a little sketchy looking, and the free breakfast works have been better if the lady serving was friendly and actually acknowledged us.

We loved staying here so much traveling from California to Colorado that we drove the extra distance on our return trip to stay there again. Great value, the dinner was wonderful and the complimentary breakfast wasn't bad either. Very clean, newly remodeled rooms with great customer service! When we called to complain that our coffee maker was dirty (it really wasn't that bad) they apologized & to our surprise instantly took the old one, brought us a brand new coffee maker with new coffee and condiments. We appreciated a hotel being run by what seemed to be a very well run smaller company! If you don't have anything against small towns I'd recommend to anyone to pick this hotel, it certainly met all our needs.

The service was AMAZING!! They were very friendly and willing to go above and beyond. The bistro was delicious and the continental breakfast was probably the best I have had! I also LOVED the decor! We misplaced my daughter’s phone while we were there this weekend so I called them today and they were more than willing to go in and search the entire room for us! I definitely recommend this hotel!

My husband and I only stayed one night as we were on our way home from Yellowstone. we needed a quiet, safe, comfortable room and this was exactly what we needed. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was soft and the check in a breeze. In the morning, we had a real breakfast with sausage and scrambled eggs, toast and our choice of juice or coffee. I would give six stars if I could. If we pass through southern Utah again, we'll stay again. It was stellar. The place has rooms on two levels. I asked for ground floor and one was waiting for us. You simply pull your car to the door and that's it.
