Went to the office for the first time, sadly, to help my fur baby cross the rainbow bridge... although we were there for a very sad reason, I have nothing but good to say about this office! The Vet was very patient and gentle with my boy. He even carried him out to my car for me. They were so kind to my daughter and I. They didn't rush us through our goodbyes and also recommended a cheaper option for cremation than we had previously planned. The secretary even called and arranged it for me. They also sent us a condolence card, which really meant a lot to me! I highly recommend Salt Creek Veterinary Clinic! I will take all of my other fur babies there for any of their future medical needs!10/10 recommend

We had a very sick kitty and wasn't sure if it was the time to let him go. The vet was very empathetic to our situation and let us know he would try to prolong his life or support us with our decision to euthanize. In the end we let our kitty cross the rainbow bridge and was so appreciate of the vet's care he provided. I will use this vet from now on even though he is 40 miles away.

Gunnison Valley animal Hospital should send him a thank you card for all the business they’ve got.Monty is clearly, in the wrong business. He’s not only a terrible vet, but a terrible person. I feel terrible for his family.

I was so nervous finding a place for my 3 year old German Shepherd to get spayed. With a few close friends recommending Salt Creek, I decided to call. They had an opening in the next few weeks for a Spay appointment, gave me pricing upfront, and were so accommodating. I met the Vet himself when I dropped my dog off, and he was pleasant, kind, and honest. My dog did not even need a cone because the Vet was able to do a "buried" stitch. She is almost completely back to normal only 4 days after her procedure. I even had to call and ask some questions I forgot to ask the day of, and the Vet's receptionist/daughter was quick to answer my questions and ease my anxiety. AMAZING place and super glad I trusted Salt Creek with my dog.

** Update: Thank you for helping me keep Chloe healthy, she is almost one now!I was desperately looking for a vet to see my tiny puppy and they told me I could go right away, no waiting. The Vet is very nice, and makes you feel welcome. My little Chloe got well and we'll keep going there even if I have to drive 25 miles, yes, 25 miles and there are several places closer but I'll keep taking my pets there.

Such a great vet. The receptionist is always super helpful and if you leave a message they actually call you back! That never happened at the vets I went to before. My dogs love Monty and the staff there!! They’re never scared to go in because it’s such a friendly environment. So happy my friends recommended this vet! Worth driving to if you’re a little ways away.

We absolutely loved the place. The Vet was fabulous! We have already told several of our friends they need to check out this place! We have an appt. to return in 2 weeks.... and we will be there! Its difficult to find a decent vet you can trust with your dog. Our new puppy is precious to us and we have to be able to trust another person (vet) with her welfare. I'm sure it sounds overboard, some think animals are just animals, and if that is your belief and attitude then your right, your pet will be just that.... your animal. Our dog is part of our family. Salt Creek understands these feelings and values the importance these "critters" bring into our lives. I believe a good vet is worth their weight in gold. They have to be exemplary in treating the sick and injured without a word from the patient, except a wagging tail. Check this place out! You won't go anywhere else!Brad and Kim Pixton

The kindest vet I've ever been to they know what they are doing and they have passion for animals. This is the vet you want if you need medical help with your pets. I've taken my dog to other vets and leave angry because we are treated as another dollar sign I didn't feel this way at all with Salt Creek Veterninary. As busy as they were they still got us in and got my dog the medical help she needed.

Love Monte! Best down to earth vet in Utah. He isn't all about the money. If you do not like someone who is straight up and will tell you like it is, he isn't right for you. Good or bad, he will be 💯 straight up. I am so grateful for their help.

Great Dr. and great vet techs. My shih tzu had cancer and they helped with meds and care up until it was time to let him go. They were very kind and thoughtful in such a heartbreaking situation.

I’ve been going to this facility for several years and have to say it’s one of the very best veterinarians around. Monty is a caring person who is always putting your pet’s needs above anything else, and the staff has always gone above and beyond the call of duty. I will always be grateful for this dynamic team of people who have shown such compassion and care for not only the pets they treat but also the consideration and the best interest of the people who are there to get the best care for their furry animals who’ve become family members. You’ll never find a facility that cares more for your pets than Salt Creek!

Your pet deserves betterSo, I met Monty when he prescribed Meloxicam for my old dog with arthritis. Worked great, and I was glad to have (I thought) a good vet locally. I went back to get help with a recurring infection the same dog was suffering from, and Monty's proposed solution was to CUT OF HIS TAIL, to help keep him clean. No way I'm doing that to my 14 year old dog. We tried a few other options I'd asked about, and Monty seemed open to working with me, and was friendly enough. After about the 2nd treatment attempt, Monty stopped answering my phone calls, and eventually had his daughter (works in the office with his wife) tell me he wasn't comfortable treating the dog, and recommended I consult another vet, which I gladly did. Other vet diagnosed and solved the problem immediately, and my dog is fine, and got to keep his tail.Regardless, it was good to have a local vet, and I didn't want to give up on Monty, so I went back for a refill of the Meloxicam several months later. I asked Monty's wife if we could refill the prescription at another pharmacy, as opposed to Chewy who was very expensive by comparison. Monty came busting out of a room down the hall yelling "what are you trying to nickle and dime me for?!" I'm still not sure what difference it makes to him where I get a prescription filled, but I didn't get a chance to ask, as he kept yelling "I know who you are, you're a scammer!" "The other vet wouldn't take you back?" I explained what the other vet did to solve the problem, and that the dog was doing great, and he yelled back "then why are you here?" Explained that I didn't realize there was any bad blood between us, that I appreciated having a local vet for things like this, and I didn't know why he was so mad, to which he replied "well I'm not filling it, get out of here!"I can't imagine what it must be like to be his wife or daughter and have to live with Monty. At least I had the option of not doing business with this unbalanced hack. Do your pets a favor, and drive a little out of the way to find a competent and mentally stable vet.

We just came here for the first time today and we absolutely LOVE this vet!! He was so sweet with my injured 8 week pup, didn’t do any unnecessary/ expensive testing, and had us in and out so quickly while still addressing all of my concerns. His prices were also amazing! He’s personable, caring, funny, and obviously very good at his job. He was seriously the BEST!! Even though we live 30 minutes away, we won’t ever take our puppy anywhere else!

We actually had a good experience the first couple times we came here. Unfortunately, leaving one star is being too generous after today’s visit. The only male vet there was horrible with his treatment of our ten month old lab. He criticized my wife about our pup’s behavior and encouraged her to physically abuse the dog when it acts up. He then had the audacity to put down our nine year old son all because of a joke he made that the vet didn’t understand. He may be the only vet in Nephi and thinks he can get away with this behavior, but whether he was having a bad day or not, he shouldn’t be allowed to talk to humans this way all because a puppy got the best of him.

I chose to take my 6 month old Boxer here because the breeder used him to dock his tail and remove dew claws. We went in for his Rabies vaccine. I asked about sides effects to watch for. The response I got from the vet was " Like him being dead?". What medical professional would make this this kind of comment?? That was the 1st of many uncalled for remarks. He and I did not agree on the reasons for neutering a puppy. His being to stop behaviors, mine being to prevent pregnancy. He thinks castration is the only way to go, I'm for vasectomy to keep natural hormones in place. In the end he told me to never come back to his office. He walked off saying he had REAL work to do. Like my Boxer was of no importance. Never will I recommend anyone to him.

My husband and I live in Santaquin and we weren't impressed with the veterinary clinics in Payson. We tried Salt Creek Veterinary Services and won't go anywhere else as long as we live here! Best prices of any clinic I've ever been to as well as the shortest wait AND visit times. I'm usually in and out in ten minutes for routine visits. Plus, I'm usually able to make an appointment within the same week I call, but they actually got us in same-day last week when my cat had scratched his cornea and couldn't open his eye. The doctor is kind and personable, and I've never had a bad experience with anyone there. Highly recommend!

I had a unique situation and my dog was very close to dying. I don't live in the area, but was driving through when my dog went into respiratory distress. They saved her life because they were willing to go above and beyond to help that day. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Dr Myers and his clinic are absolutely the most experienced, knowledgeable, and caring veterinary services I have ever known.I'm 68 years old and I've had dogs all my life. These people are the finest I have ever encountered.
