My father and I just got back from an incredible archery elk hunt with R&K out of their South Fork lodge. Our guides, Jared and Parker, were an awesome tag team, and really worked hard to put us on elk- great, friendly guys to spend a few days in the woods with as well. We saw bulls every single day on the Stillman ranch. The hunt was physically demanding, but it absolutely made for an even more accomplished feeling at the end of the day. I ended up shouldering a bull on day 2 that we ultimately didn't end up finding, and while both Jared and Parker worked their butts off to try and recover it, it just wasn't a vital hit. After my encounter, both guides worked and continued to try and get my father a shot at a bull, which he came VERY close 2 or 3 times. I'd say the lack of us getting bulls fell squarely on our inexperience as elk hunters, and there wasn't a single thing more the guides could have done to help us achieve our goal of each downing a bull. The lodging was fantastic, and the food cooked by Don and Cooper was even more so. Cheeto, who ran the lodge, was an extremely busy guy, but the few spare moments he had when we saw him, he checked in and made absolutely sure we were happy and enjoying our time their. Overall, this is a world class outfit, and a bunch of hunters downed great bulls and bucks while we were there- I'd guess R&K's success rate is far and above other outfitters in the game. We're definitely booking again for next year, and I'd have no reservations about recommending R&K to anyone at all. 10/10 hunt, 11/10 operation and guides.

This place is truly amazing I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a deer or elk hunt. Travis the guy in charge is great to work with, Don the cook does an amazing job you wont go hungry. The guides are great as well. I have hunted elk the last two years and everything was amazing. Lodging is 5 stars as well. Kandon was my guide last year he is awesome. Great place!

Went on a Mexico hunt for mule deer with this outfitter. While there the guides used spotlights to find deer. Cut off the head of a deer and left it lay. Had hunter sign documents that were false. While returning to the us the fish and wildlife took the hunters horns saying that there was no hunting license issued and we were hunting out of season. Very unethical outfitters. Also don’t be fooled did not see a deer over 160 inches for a 15k hunt a real scam here

I had the pleasure of hunting Trophy Mountain Ranch this past week. What an experience! R & K Hunting was the outfitter. The accommodations were first class, Kimberly, the chef was outstanding, Justin Richins the owner was on top of his game. J W was my guide and you couldn’t ask for a more professional guide to put you on the trophy, which he did. He put me on a 444 inch beast. What a hunt! If you’re looking for the ultimate trophy experience you need to talk with Chris an R & K Hunting. The ultimate experience!

Outstanding hunting experience. Justin Richins presented an enjoyable hunt which ended in harvesting a very large elk with a great classic rack at 425. The main lodge was very nicely appointed and having WiFi was a pleasant bonus. The accommodations were very nice and more than adequate for our stay. I have used R & K Hunting for several hunts in the past. I intend to hunt with them again.

I hunted Trophy Mountain Ranch with Justin. This was my second hunt with R&K and Justin and as before the hunt clearly exceeded my expectations. The fall colors were at their best which added to the enjoyment of the hunt. Chris was very responsive and helpfull during the registration process which went smoothly. She explained the upgrade process and arranged for my selection of a larger bull. When I arrived at the Ranch Kimberley got me all settled with my comfortable accomodations which wear neat and clean. Justin and another guide Cam and I headed out to hunt for the evening. With not much light left Justin and Cam spotted an exceptional Bull that we decide to pursue. Eventually Justin and Cam were able to get me within shooting range of the big bull. Cam provided shooting sticks which helped me make a clean one shot kill. Justin and Cam made every effort to help with the photography. We quartered the bull and got him back to the ranch. Tammy was a great hostess and provided excellent meals. I am 83 years old and have been on many guided hunts over the years. R&K and their staff provide the opportunity for a premium hunting experience. I plan to book another hunt next year. R&K WY is an absolute first class operation. The immense property itself, the accommodations, guides, and cooks were all superb. Cooks Dug & Kim made the stay exceptional. My guide Finny was not only a great hunter and woodsman, he was also someone I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with. We were in the elk from the start on day one, and we ended up setting up on and harvesting a beautiful 6x5 bull the second day. This is not a canned hunt; we worked for every elk we saw, but that made the experience all the more enjoyable. Hunt of a lifetime, though I will be back!

R & K hunting company has great service and great properties. Chris was very informative and helpful when it came to booking the hunt. I hunted Utah for 4 days with multiple stalks and a couple shots eventually going home with a nice buck. The service was a 10, Food was a 10 and the quality of the bucks I saw exceeded my expectations. I will definitely go back as soon as I can.

I recently returned from an amazing Buffalo Bow Hunt with R&K Hunt Company based out of Coalville Utah. The trip could not have been much better! The lodge was a great place with very comfortable rooms and some amazing food. Every meal was well prepared and plentiful, thanks to Don! Daniel was an amazing guide and new what key areas we needed to hit to get a good view and hunt plan put together. We made a great stalk on the buffalo and I was able to execute a good shot. The after care of the animal was spot on and efficient and this allowed me to kick back and enjoy the rest of my trip. I would highly recommend R&K for any western big game hunt!!

I can’t recommend Justin and his team up there enough. He’s an incredible guide, my buddy had the same thing to say about Travis, the guide he was out with. Saw game all week and coming home with a beautiful elk and an unforgettable experience. Camp was nice; food was delicious, everything very clean and spacious. Tico did a great job for us. If you are reading this while looking for an outfitter you are done searching. We will absolutely be back to hunt with them again!!

This was hands down the best hunting outfitter I have ever used! Not only was the food/service/lodging 5 stars, but I also learned more from Grant and his son Dylan more than any other guided hunt I’ve ever been on! I went archery hunting for elk at Justin’s lodge in Morgan, UT. On that hunt both my guides had me able to move in within 25 yards two different times and get within 60 yards 2 other times on bulls. Unfortunately between those 4 exchanges I wasn’t able to get an optimal shot opportunity due to unexpected circumstances of those interactions. This included sudden wind change, elk moving unpredictably last sec, obstruction such a brush or timber, and other unforeseen variables (Spot and stalk Bow hunting elk in a nut shell lol).Both Dylan and grant did an incredible job setting up a game plan quickly and knowing when/where to bugle, cow call, or make loud brushing sounds when elk were active to bring them in! They gave me sound advice in real time and by the end of the trip I truly felt like a MUCH better and more knowledgeable hunter. I don’t think I can confidently say that on the previously guided hunts that I’ve been on…Normally if Im not able to harvest an animal at the end of a long hunting trip, I’m usually a little bummed out… this time I have completely different and new feeling!. After all the high volume elk action, knowledge I acquired, and interaction with the amazing people there, I left Morgan with a giant smile on my face and am sincerely optimistic and confident on any future big game hunt I take on!I will be back to this same lodge next year no question! Wonderful people, lots of elk, and stellar service/lodging makes this a no brainer to go to for years to come!

This was an absolute fantastic experience. I set up this trip with R&K with my 3 sons and brother, we were fortunate to hunt at the Morgan ranch. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for myself or my sons. We were able so see plenty of elk bulls and cows on the ranch. Each member of my family was able to tag out during our 5 day hunt. The food, accommodations, staff and guides were all top notch. It was my first guided hunt and R&K spoiled me for life! Thanks to all who helped me make this trip a once in a life time experience.

My recent black bear hunt in Wyoming was fantastic! Had the experience of a lifetime riding horses into the mountains and preparing for the hunt. Even though I am a novice at riding horses, the guides were very happy to show me things I did not know. The customer service provided by the guides and staff at R&K was superb. A very knowledable and communicative staff that are just as excited to be on the outing as you are. An experience I will never forget.

Many years ago I made my first trip hunting with Daniel and the R&K guides and staff. The hunt, lodging and food all exceeded my expectations. My mule deer hunt with R&K Hunting Company in Henefer UT was an incredible experience. Carson "Cletus" Chournos is a truly professional guide who worked his butt off to show me the hunt of a lifetime. We truly experienced a classic hunt including a sparring match between Elk, calling and stalking in high mountain Aspens and even saw a Mountain Lion on the way out of our hunting location one night. The accommodations and food was excellent! I'll look back on this experience with nothing but a smile for many years to come. I have gone to The R&K Hunting Company 5 times and hunted with them out of both their South Fork and Queen Mountain lodges. To say I was impressed by the way they took care of me would be an understatement. After my first experience with them I talked at least a dozen other hunters into going back with me over the years and each of them now have first hand knowledge of why I will continue to go back as long as I can. Simply put, The R&K Hunting Company excels at controlling what they can control. The food, lodging, guides and equipment are all top notch. Oh and 6 trophies on the wall in the 5 times I have gone is just icing on the cake. They have never let me, my guests or the 50 plus referrals down that I have referred to them. You will be hard pressed to find a better managed team that truly want you to be successful. They are like family to me now!

Our Cabela’s Elk Hunt with R&K Hunting Company was an adventure! The lodge was first-class, variety and daily menu items were outstanding, the hunting venue was rugged, yet beautiful, and the guides were competent and structured each field session to the hunter’s physical abilities. Insofar as calling rutting elk, my experience could not have been scripted any better. It was almost as if I was participating in a televised series from the Outdoor Channel. I hunted utah early archery on the1000 peaks ranch. The trip was nothing short of amazing. Accommodations were exceptional. We stayed in a yurt on top of the mountain and hunted directly from it. Opening morning I connected on my largest buck to date. Guides were A+, Food was exceptional, and views hard to beat. Will be going back the next two years!
