Amazingly clean! Very impressed with the level of work put into cleaning. The rooms are a little dated, but thats what gives it it's cute fun character.Rooms: Again, ever happy with the amazing amount of cleanliness.

I have never experienced such kindness from Paul and Catherine the managers of this facility. I checked in on Christmas Eve. There were so few residents there over Eve and Christmas Day.These guys did not know me more than 10 minutes before asking me for dinner of BBQ and spuds on Christmas Day.Who does that these days to show such kindness?!!!I know there are more good people like Paul and Catherine in this world but we just never hear about them. On top of this I left my phone charger in the hotel. Catherine called me and said send me ur address details and she wouild post it back to me. She did! Delightful people. The room was great and my experience was 10. I wish there were more people like P&C in this world.

We stayed here for a night during the first week of May. It is a no frills, basic hotel. It was clean and comfortable. However, what sets this place apart are the owners. Honestly, these were some of the most fantastic people ever. When I checked in, they asked if I was staying and doing any hiking. They very quickly recommended to me 4-5 different short hikes. Sadly, we were just passing through but grabbed dinner and drinks at 4th West Pub right across the street. The next morning, I grabbed some coffee from their lobby and checked out. We saw they had some local polished stones for sale. We bought a small jar for our daughter and were talking to the same gentleman again. We started talking about petrified wood, next thing we know he brings out a trayful offering as much as we wanted. You can really tell they love this area and sharing that love with all of us passing through. A nice touch too was the clean rag to clean off boots, bikes, etc instead of using one of their hand towels. It was really really thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again and definitely for longer.

This is a budget hotel but a nice place to stay. Close to eating establishments and groceryRooms: 2 queen beds . Well maintained and clean. No in room coffee, so bring some instant to mix with water you heat in microwave. DirecTV on a smallish screen. I think this was the Most affordable place to stay. A decent bargain. If you’re spending all day in the canyon all you need is a hot shower clean bed and a tv.

I would have given 3.5 stars if I could. We recently stayed here during spring break (end of March) and overall it was a good stay, but VERY low budget and not fancy. We did a ton of hiking and it was very nice to have a place to come back to where we got (mostly) hot showers, storage, and a place to store our stuff.Pros: Water pressure was great, microwave and fridge were convenient, there was a lot of space in the room for our stuff, and it was very clean (most important!).Cons: After 4 fairly quick showers, my husband had a cold shower every night, the towels are absolutely tiny, the beds are DOUBLES, this was a big deal for us, and they could really stand to put in queen sized beds. The place was very dated, and pillows were not great.Overall, a good value for the price, especially if you're not in your room often or don't need fancy upgrades. If they made a few small changes, it would make a huge difference, but it was still a good experience for us and I would go back again and recommend to others.

Very nice clean room. Very friendly staff. Prices were comparable to other hotels in the area. The rooms are a bit dated, but in a charming way I loved the feeling they had, they are bigger than newer hotel rooms.

We found this local motel after our Airbnb was unacceptable. We were lucky they had a room! The room was clean, the beds were comfortable & the shower provided great water pressure and hot water! Which were much needed after a long day of sightseeing.I also liked how they provided smaller towels to clean your gear, shoes, etc! A nice touch for this remote area where you’ll have red dirt everywhere!! It speaks to how they value their customers needs. The owners and staff were friendly, professional & easy to work with!!Thank you,Melissa

Stayed here when we were passing through on our way to Capitol Reef; rooms are neat and clean, and very reasonably priced; and the person running the front desk and gift shop was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. And when I accidentally left a personal item in the gift shop they were happy to send it to me and did so very promptly. I absolutely would stay there again.

Great rooms for the price. The staff was very helpful even though we got in late. Check out their rocks for sale in the lobby!Nearby activities: Hole in the Rock Road is no joke! Don't go further than Devils Garden if you don't want your family to hate you!Walkability: You can walk to Outfitters store and restaurant as well as the Mexican food truck at the RV park.Food & drinks: Pretty much just had coffee and waters.

Horrible experience. My group arrived past midnight for our two-night stay to see the door to our room partially open and lights on. When we walked in we saw the beds were both used, there was trash on the table, wet towels on the floor, and you know what kind of hair in the hand soap. The office was closed, and there was no emergency number in any of the information pages we were given or in the room, or in any of our communications (we were later informed there was a small hand-written note with a number on the door which we overlooked due to how stressed we all were). We called the only number we had multiple times and no one picked up. Having no other options we were forced to stay the night, sleeping in our clothes on top of the covers. After a horrible night’s sleep we went to the main office, and Pyra was extremely nice and immediately comped our first night, but the owners refused to do more. So essentially they thought it was plenty nice of them to let us sleep in the dirty beds free of charge. We were later informed the room hadn’t been rented the night before, and that it had been deep cleaned the day before that. Our door was difficult to close all the way, so I’m fairly sure it wasn’t locked and the room was broken into and used without their knowledge. Considering these circumstances, I was appalled they wouldn’t do more. I’ve worked customer service for years, and when crazy things happen, you do more than the bare minimum. Pretty disappointing to say the least.

The young lady who was manager/desk is awesome. So helpful, friendly, and personable. The rooms were comfortable, clean, had lots of towels. The area is quiet. Fresh hot coffee at 7:30AM, and ice for our drinks. We will stay here again, even though the motel is older.

Great place to stop for visiting Grand Staircase-Escalante! Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to help us resolve a travel related issue.

Rooms are adequate for the price. All are identical with 2 double beds. We stayed several nights. We were on the ground floor and enjoyed being next to the car so it was easy to load and unload for each day's activities. The kids liked the swings and tractor out front. We got takeout at several places in town and ate in our room or at the local park, which has a splash pad.

I stayed here last year during a quick road trip with family. The rooms were affordable and well worth it. The woman running the place was so pleasant and welcoming. She very well could have been a little cranky for as long as she's been there, not to mention we woke her up late. She was very nice and joked around with my kids. The rooms were clean, what more could I ask for. I'll definitely stay there again.

Seriously can’t complain about this place, it was really great! The room didn’t have any bells or whistles but it was clean and cared for. It had all the essentials. The mini fridge and microwave were fairly new as well as the TV, even though it was small. I enjoyed my stay, it was perfect for our needs!

Stayed July 2021. Awesome place. Best deal in town. Walking distance to anything. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Special thanks from my kids for the "really fast WiFi". Love the fact that the AC/Fan stays on even when not cooling. Big plus for me. Helps me sleep. Has a decent view of mountains in the distance. My favorite part, front desk lady (Pyra) was AWESOME. Excellent customer service. If it hadn't been for her tips and advice for the hike, I don't think we would've gotten anything done. Probably lost in the dessert. Thanks. Maybe I'll be by there again next year.
