Cute tents! Bed was super comfy. Fun decode in the tents. Main issue was that the water wasn’t working which means the toilets did not flush - sounds like the should be updating that soon though. Also the sign is really hard to see from the road so would recommend updating or paint the sign so it doesn’t blend into the scenery. There was not a main office so a little confusing to find where we were supposed to go but that may be because we arrived so early. The lady there was really good to work with and kindly let us check in early.

We stayed at the Wander Camp Bryce Canyon in early October. We were very excited as the location was only 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon, but away from the the town. The tents were very nice, clean and spaced out enough for some privacy. The location of the camp was very quiet and at night the sky was absolutely amazing. We were nervous about reviews we had read about crossing Paria River to get to the camp. While we were there, the water level was pretty low so we had no issues at all, but I can see where you could have issues if the water level was higher for a sedan. The only issue we had during our stay was that the water pump/heater in the bathrooms was not functional. There was enough water to flush the toilet and wash hands, but the showers were out of order for the entire stay. This put a damper on trip as showers are key after a long day of hiking. The bathrooms were nice and clean though, so if they would have been functioning, I would have given this location 5 stars.

We had a great stay at wander camp. The location is incredible with unobstructed views in all directions and no visible neighbors, only 10 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. The camp is rustic - only basic amenities, no plumbing or electricity as you might expect. Toilets and showers are in a trailer near the parking lot, as is the staff container if you need extra supplies, firewood, etc.Water is limited (it had run out by morning), but otherwise everything was provided for a lovely stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the tents are in good shape, beds comfortable and a few shared fire pits for cooking or meeting other campers. I loved the communal feel and and would definitely return. Bring a headlamp.

Excellent experience! I was surprised by how much we enjoyed this as we're not very "outdoorsy" but it's a fun way to experience nature while still sleeping in a comfortable bed. We checked in at 4pm but our tent was really hot, so we left and came back around 8pm. I thought we'd get too cold during the night but was very comfortable with all the cozy bedding.

The site was beautiful! The tent and bathrooms.were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The campfire was perfect and the location just outside of Bryce was very convenient. We came from the East coast, so not having to schlep all of our camping gear for one night was tremendous. Our camp host worked tirelessly and made sure the accommodations were as expected. Being able to share a dark sky experience with my boys was priceless! Highly recommend!

I've stayed at a few Wander Camps now. This one was the best experience we've had. Joe was an absolute gem and really made our day each time we saw him. Bathrooms were very clean, but admittedly the floors need some work, not really an issue but I'm told they're going to be repaired. The tent was more spacious than any other camp we've stayed with and the bed was comfortable. You do have to walk your bags to the tent as there is no parking next to each tent, but they provide a rugged wagon to help with that which worked out well. You might miss the turn if you aren't looking closely but look for the tents on the hill. Be advised there is very little cell service, which can be a plus if you're unplugging.

We highly recommend staying at Wander Camp Bryce Canyon. Don’t look at the reviews from the past because we didn’t experience that. We had a lovely stay. Tents were clean and warm even during spring (may2023). The bathrooms were clean as well. The way to the camp was not that bad at all, it was even fun to drive into a small creek (you can do this with a normal car as well). It’s an awesome experience in the middle of Bryce Canyon.

We really enjoyed our time at Wander Camp. The beds and pillows were really nice and comfy. I was impressed with the warm shower setup and overall the bathrooms were pretty nice. They also have community fire pits. It was a nice experience and I would definitely stay again. However, do not come here without a vehicle that’s capable of driving off road as you have to cross a ravine. It was quite a dip into the ravine and there was some standing water. We were glad we drove our Outback and it still felt a bit sketchy. Seems like it could be a fairly easy fix to either fill that area in a bit more or build something to make it more traversable.

This place is a must stay. A tough entrance to find but well worth it and makes it feel more secluded. The views are amazing, Bryce Canyon is right next door. Really close to Canyonlands and drivable to Zion. Friendly people, plenty of shared space, communal areas with fire pits. The tents are high quality and very minimalistic. Definitely come prepared with warm clothes and a heater to stay warm during the night.

WARNING: DO NOT COME HERE! We had booked a stay at the Wander Camp on 19 March 2023 for 18 to 20 September 2023 (2 nights). We paid USD 415.15 (EUR 399.92) for this through our credit card on 19 March 2023. On its website, the Wander Camp advertises being "a rustic glamping accommodation" with "flushing toilets" and "rustic camp-style dishes, cooked on our onsite foodtruck". Based on experiences of other recent guests however we understand that not even basic facilities such as flushing toilets and basic foods is available at the campsite. We have even seen pictures of overflowing chemical toilets. So the information provided on the website is in itself extremely misleading. The Wander Camp acknowledges this, but attributes it to a "revision week" (which does not explain, by the way, why there is no food truck present). However, the worst is yet to come. We subsequently decided to cancel our stay. We sent emails and messages via Instagram for this, but got no response. The only response we got was a welcome message via Whats-app on the day of our stay (18 September). We indicated via Whatsapp that we had cancelled our booking and wanted a refund. Wander Camp indicated "your booking has been cancelled and the money has been refunded". This turned out to be only partially true. The Wander Camp had refunded an amount of EUR 389 on 19 September, but also wrongly debited another amount of EUR 389.69, while we had already paid on 19 March (!), In total, we had thus paid EUR 789.61 for 2 nights (!), of which the Wander Camp had refunded only EUR 389 and there was thus an amount of EUR 399.92 still outstanding. After providing detailed evidence via Whatsapp (because you can't call them) of the Wander Camp's write-offs and the fact that the Wander Camp did not refund the full amount, the Wander Camp refuses (despite previous promises) to refund the remaining amount. We are considering legal action against the Wander Camp. Once again WARNING: DO NOT COME HERE. It is not worth it. It is not worth it because of the absurd price for an accommodation the pretends to be glamping, which it is not. Furthermore, customers are treated in the above manner and so our damages to date for the above course of action are EUR 399.92.UPDATE 1 (5 October): Wander Camp's last words via Whatsapp were "we will not take any further messages". After I received the below response from the Wander Camp stating that "they want to make things right", I contacted the Wander Camp again, but still I have not received any compensation.UPDATE 2 (10 October): Meanwhile, the Wander Camp cannot be reached via Whatsapp and I received an auto-generated message on my query about the status of compensation.

My wife booked this place and she said that the amenities were not faithfully represented on the website. The bathrooms were a bit funky, wife said the pictures on website do not reflect the bathrooms at this site. There is no drinking water, you must bring your own. The tents are very warm/hot during late afternoon. There is zero shade so it's a bit rough until sun sets and there are only 5 firepits for the whole campsite. The grill on the one we had was very rickety and required some jerry rigging to use. There is a very steep drop in the driveway that cars with low clearance will not make. They charge 5 bucks for a towel which is more of a rag than a towel and the tents get very cold at night. However the bed was very comfortable and warm if you cuddle up! Overall we will not be back, it was a mediocre experience, and I would not recommend to my friends.

Great location for camp lovers! So peaceful and cozy! We were there for a day and were welcomed by the best host ever, Holly! She is an amazing person, extremely polite and knowledgeable. She gladly answered our series of questions and made sure we had a pleasant stay at this site. Loved the bonfire at night while gazing at the stars. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. There were enough blankets and comforters to face the cold night. We definitely had the best time during our stay and needless to mention, Holly did her best to make our stay a pleasant one! Thank you so much! 😊 Highly recommended.

TLDR: The property did not provide the address or camp site number until 11pm on the day we were supposed to check in, despite check in being at 4pm. They offered a partial refund but never sent it despite multiple follow up's over the past 2 months.I recently had a stay with Wander Camp at their Olympic National Park location. I had pre paid the full amount and had filled in the check in form in advance of my stay, as requested by the company. Check in was at 4pm and I did not receive the address or tent number I was assigned until 11pm. Despite calling their phone lines and messaging on their website and WhatsApp number, it took 2 hours for someone to get back to me on where the camp site was located as the address was hidden on the booking site. In the next weeks, Wander Camp reached out and appeared to be very helpful and even offered a 50% refund on the stay, but despite my 10 emails over the last two months, they have not sent me the money. They have emailed me confirming the amount and have consistently said "end of week", but they have not held up their end. They also asked me to post a positive review in exchange for a gift card for a future visit despite my issues that I've communicated to them via email and on the phone.

Fun campground to stay at, close to Bryce Canyon. Roadway was a little rough so I’d hesitate to bring a nice vehicle next time. No electric charging if you have a Tesla. Friendly staff was helpful in getting us settled into our tent for the evening. Would be happy to stay again!nice start for a US adventure.

I enjoyed my time at Wander Camp! The tents are large, spacious, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. We like the convenient location of the campsite (20-25 minute drive from Bryce Canyon's sunrise point) and the price fit our budget. Customer service was super helpful and chill. My only critique is that the bathroom floors and showers were pretty dirty, but that is why we brought flip-flops.

We took a trip to Bryce Canyon and decided to rough it in the wilderness. We knew there was rain on the way however, the check-in individual didn't seem worried about the impact that it would have. We left for a hike and came back to the whole camp being closed. No phone call, no text, no e-mail...nothing. We were stranded at 10PM with no where to go.We also ran into another couple(from Canada) that checked in around 6 PM(same day) and the check-in guy didn't mention anything about flash flooding or possible closure. He just checked them in. After they had dinner, they came back to find it closed as well and no where to go.Overall, we are pretty upset with the lack of customer service regarding the closure and just leaving us/others stranded in a town where everything closes at 9.

Found it a little tricky to find during the nighttime (we were going in August and arriving late). They did provide good directions, but it is a quick turn-off that comes unexpectedly so just be aware of that. Facilities were clean and the linens were fresh. We enjoyed our night camping and getting away from the bustle in SLC these days. Nice getaway from the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bryce Canyon National park.

Such a fun experience! First of all, the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and cozy! You have to watch out for the signs and follow the directions closely, but it was not difficult for us to find at all. The showers and bathrooms were clean, and the camp is located in a remote-ish area that offers a peaceful silence. Our tent had no outlets or wifi, but that’s the experience we wanted. You can see the stars so clearly at night, and the sunset was beautiful from the camp. Very close to Bryce Canyon too. A very unique experience, and I would recommend!

Alright party people, this review is for all those who want more information about this site.I’m reviewing this for the Bryce Canyon Wander Camp, since I have a feeling some of these reviews are mixed. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights, and had fun reading the reviews prior to arriving. Like the guy who complained there wasn’t an electric car charger port for his Tesla… really?I feel like most of the bad reviews here don’t understand what this place is. So here is what it is: it’s a campsite. You’re camping. What campsite has electric car charging ports? What campsite has daily room cleanings? Let’s all readjust our expectations here…That said, it’s obviously an upscale camping experience. You don’t have to pitch the tent, or do any setup. Just show up. You get a surprisingly comfortable and warm bed (no like legit, this bed is nice), beautiful tent, chairs, lights, hot showers. It’s a great setup.Okay, so now to some of the specifics, since we couldn’t find them online or in reviews and I feel people will find this useful.First, there is no electricity on site. None, nada. There are some lights, but small and all solar. There are 5 communal fire pits. It doesn’t seem like many or any were used during our stay, but we went to bed pretty early. I doubt you’d have trouble getting a private one.The site during our stay was very quiet. No noise pollution and everyone kept to themselves. It’s not a party scene. There are flushable bathrooms and two showers. The water is warm, but isn’t guaranteed. It’s a pull level shower. As long as you hold it down, water gets pumped out. Propane heated, don’t go wild with it, and don’t expect luxury showers.Parking is not next to your tent like most campgrounds are. There’s a designated parking lot, close to the bathrooms. However, the entire site is small and the walk to your tent is short. They provide carts to load your stuff in and haul it to your tent. There is also two solar lamps they provide you if you need to walk around at night. (And small solar powered lights illuminating the path for you).We arrived midafternoon and someone was here to receive us and give us directions to our specific tent. They said they have someone there everyday until 9pm.Now, my girlfriend and I laughed at the reviews about people not being able to find it. I mean come on, in this day and age, with google maps, just plug it in and go. We figured it was just people who struggle with simple things.Turns out, it was actually slightly difficult. Google maps brings you to the right spot, but the sign they have posted is off to the side of the road, dark, small, and on a bend. We flew right by it, but did see it. When we turned in, we couldn’t figure out where to go. The road is slightly confusing, or can be if you’re not looking in the right spot. Just look left and follow it, don’t go right it’s a dead end. I have no idea why they don’t put arrows out to make it more clear. Check out the picture and play Where’s Waldo with the sign. They also seriously need a bigger sign, on BOTH sides of the road.If you are arriving in the dark, good luck. Just follow google maps, slow down and turn into that random dirt road you see. From there it’s a super short drive to the parking lot, but you do have to cross a small stream. There’s no bridge or anything, and was a little disconcerting but, we got over fine. If you have a really low vehicle you might need to reconsider. They need to build something to make this easier, but most cars should do fine. We went in the spring/summer.All in all though, great experience, highly recommend.

Had a great time here! Tents are clean, bathrooms are very nice (nicer than expected), and the views are great. The beds are warm and the night sky is beautiful 😍 make sure to follow the directions given by the camp since you turn off 12 onto a dirt road leading to camp. The atmosphere is calm and everyone at camp was so friendly. We all gathered around the fire pit and got to hear about everyone’s travels. Would stay again!

Final update - the new owner, Andrew, reached out to me on 2/24/23 and was able to provide a refund quickly. Hopefully the new ownership will be able to provide a more positive experience to future customers!Update to add - Wander Camp reached out to me about my review and asked me to remove it for a refund. When I declined, they offered to refund me if I would update my review to be more positive. I said that I would update my review to reflect that I received a refund for my awful experience. That was in October.. I have yet to receive a refund and they keep saying 5-10 business days. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I truly don’t know how they have any positive reviews.Absolutely DO NOT stay here. We showed up to no heater, but we were charged for an additional heater. We also did not have any lanterns. There were other guests who were double booked for the same tent on the same night. There were no employees on site. I can’t say their customer service is bad because it simply doesn’t exist! They have yet to reply to my request for a refund, but they sure made sure to charge my card! Also, agree with the bathroom mirror review.. I’m 5’9” and this was my view in the mirror. I’d give them 0 stars if that was an option
