My husband and I stayed there just about five days ago. Spacious room, but the fitted sheet had some weird texture on it, like it had shredded spots but no holes on the sheets. It was odd to feel a fitted bed sheet like it was used a very long time. No door to where the bathroom sinks are, just a door to the toilet and shower room. It was still comfortable and quiet since it's off season. One thing is the women at the front desk were not welcoming at all. Like no personality or a welcoming greeting with a smile. My husband said he was ready to walk out but we drove a long way and tired. After we got our luggage out to take to our room, the two women at the front desk were looking at some papers and didn't look up at all to say, enjoy your stay! It could have been a crazy guy trying to break in hotel rooms. I'm exaggerating of course, but I have worked as a front desk clerk/Administrator and I was taught well and trained in hospitality to always be alert, friendly, cautious, polite, welcoming and if you felt that something isn't right with a guest or anyone walking in the establishment, alert security and if it's a bad feeling or anyone feels any danger to call 911. We didn’t care which Best Western to stay at that late afternoon but we drove across the street to have dinner there. Love the gift shop and little market. The next morning when I went to check out, the lady who was at the front desk, didn't say a word, no, " Good morning"! "How was your night stay"? Nothing. I told her we were checking out. I mentioned the weird shreds on the fitted bed sheet and she just said, ok. After she handed me the printed hotel bill, she still didn't say a word. No "thank you for your stay, enjoy your day, drive safely, nothing. Not even a sincere or happy smile. But we went into Bryce Canyon and was there for about less than an hour. I don't want the women at the front desk to be harshly disciplined, they just need to be more welcoming and friendly where guests would want to come back and feel welcomed.

Room was clean and comfortable. Service was pretty weak, not knowledgeable or personable at the front desk (evening shift). Morning was better but still took extensive time and help to do basic tasks (change payment method). The property could benefit from a designer. It had great bones, but it looks “self decorated” which brings it down a level. Like someone went to TJ Maxx to decorate areas of breakfast/lobby or pick out carpet.Breakfast— offer fewer items and increase the quality of the ones you offer. Having bacon and sausage is not great if both are the cheapest money can buy and don’t taste good. Service in breakfast room was excellent!

We stayed here for only one night but really enjoyed it. Comfortable and large rooms and literally right at the national park entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to the servers at breakfast for being so attentive and thorough, and many many thanks for Irina for helping us recover an item we accidentally left behind!! Very grateful for the staff.

The hotel rooms felt like I was in an old lady’s house. But the beds were soooooo comfortable. Breakfast was great except the bacon which tasted like plastic which disgusted my family. The hot tub was nice and warm and what confused was that the pool was closed here but we have to go to the Ruby’s Inn to swim? Overall the hotel was ok but I would go here if I had to.

Stayed on 11/24/2023Walked into the Lobby of this hotel, a man assisted me at the counter. I asked for availability, he looked up on the computer and told me he had a double queen for $127 and some change, I asked if they had a hot tub, he said yes, but it was outside, he pointed to the area to the east of counter we were at, where the pool and hot tub were. He then explained that the pool was closed, but the hot tub was open, but to make sure we had plenty of towels before going out to it as it would be cold getting out and there were no towels outside. He was clearly discussing THIS property, not an interior one across the street 1/8 of a mile away. I walked out to confer with my partner, and within 30 seconds was back to get the room. This time another girl helped me. She started the reservation, and then told me the price I was quoted was for buildings next to their hotel and none of the amenities of this hotel would be available, nor could we use the hot tub, that we would have to go across the street to Best Western Plus Ruby’s for both breakfast and the use of pool and hot tub. This was absolutely NOT what I was told when I was quoted a price. When I asked to speak with the man I originally spoke with, he pretended to not understand what I was talking about. How convenient. Why the spiel about towels for an outdoor hot tub if I couldn’t use it? I choose hotels based on hot tub availability - an outdoor hot tub was exactly why I chose to stay. Once paid and done, I find out all the info is incorrect. Not impressed. Ruby’s is an indoor pool area that was crowded with children and had a small hot tub next to it. Not at all the idea of a quiet outdoor hot tub in the snow as initially discussed.I will not return here and am not pleased. Had I been informed of the actual facts I would have made different decisions. To walk into a hotel and be given a price for a building next to it, without being clear on that seems like a bait and switch. As to the hotel annex we were given - Rooms are clean, and ok, beds fall into the not terrible but not great either. No microwave either, but there is a refrigerator. Go elsewhere for the money they charge for their annex rooms. Not worth it compared to other area hotels in the off season.

We stayed at Best Western Plus in Bryce Utah on 12/4/23. Room number was 3355. When I pulled the bedding back there appeared to be stain on the sheet. After looking closely, there was a lot of BLOOD on the mattress pad. I asked for a refund and was told no. They would only give a 10% discount and another room. The maid would have had to put a new sheet over the mattress pad with the blood on it. If I could post a picture I would. This is not acceptable. We have been staying here for several years. We won’t be back unless the hotel makes this right. After reading other reviews, it sounds like they don’t care.

Pros: located centrally in Bryce Canyon City, pleasant reception staff, well appointed room.Cons: Noise - the whole place hums with fans and motors. Restaurant is closed for evening meals. Weird atmosphere, sugar overload and ancient bread products at breakfast. The most important thing for me when staying in a hotel being able to get a good night’s sleep which depends on a quiet room. Our room was right next to the Ice and vending machine room and the noise coming from them was ridiculous - our whole room buzzed with motor noise from next door as well as the heater and fridge in our room. Add to this the bed squeaks and banging headboard from the people have interminable and extremely audible sex next door, the elephant dancing upstairs and the refrigerated lorry that woke me up at 6:45am running its engine outside the main reception.I did ask to move rooms because of the plant room, but was told that all King rooms were next to them, so we’d have to change to a two queen bed room.I usually avoid Best Western because I’ve had so many mediocre experiences there - wish I had this time!

I chose this hotel for the annular eclipse because there was no availability at the lodge in the park. I was disappointed at first to be outside the Park, but really, this hotel's location was so convenient, it didn't matter. The front gate of the Park is a less than 5 minute drive or shuttle ride, and the shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and updated. The breakfast was fantastic - everything I needed for post-trail-run recovery or pre-hike fueling. They even had almond milk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even when answering the endless questions about the eclipse and logistics. Was it expensive for the eclipse weekend? Sure, but that's demand-based pricing for you. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and book here again when we return to Bryce Canyon. If I had a magic wand though, this hotel would have a much larger fireplace and common seating area plus a dinner dining option.

Worst hotel stay of our lives. They double booked our room. Someone else entered our room at 11pm while we were sleeping. All we got from the staff after this horrific experience was “we’re sorry, it won’t happen again”. We will never stay here again.

Great place to stay! Newer hotel with large rooms and good service. The pool and hot tub are nice but much smaller than appear in the photo. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot of options. We’d stay here again.Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of options.

Good place to stay and serve as home base for your Bryce Canyon adventures. Rooms are decent sized and bathroom offers double sinks !!! Clean and just a pleasant place to stay in. Parking is plenty and their breakfast buffet has a great selection and the staff is super quick to replenish and clean up. Check in / out was a breeze. Lobby was big and clean with a small dining area to enjoy to go food. Coffee available in lobby all day/night. Overall a good value 🏨.Rooms: Spacious

This location is very convenient to Bryce Canyon. Even thought it’s a Best Western hotel I felt as if I was at a very upscale resort. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Guest laundry was large with many machines. We had an enjoyable 2 night stay excluding the fact tv service was interrupted due to service upgrades

Nice enough hotel on the doorstep of Bryce Canyon. It could be called ‘North of the Border’ for the similar complex of restaurants and hotel rooms and gift shop. The room was clean but a bit noisy - loud bathroom fan, loud wall air unit, early neighbors. We were there for one night so c’est la vie. For the healthy price it should’ve delivered better. Included breakfast was better than average. Staff was excellent.

We booked this hotel for one night through a 3rd party site due to its location to Bryce Canyon. As with every hotel I book i always read the reviews to ensure it is a clean and comfortable hotel. When we arrived we were not disappointed. The hotel was 5min from the entrance to the park. The check in process was quick and the room was beautiful. We relaxed that evening in the heated pool and hot tub. The next morning we decided to stay an extra night. The person at the front desk was very helpful but the price they were giving me was quite a bit more than i paid on the 3rd party site. I went back and booked the extra night through the 3rd party. Then i realized that we might not get the same room because of the two separate reservations. When i inquired at the front desk about keeping the same room it took a few minutes for them to arrange in their system but they made sure we were taken care of. This was a huge relief as we would have had to pack up everything just to unpack it once we got back from the park. This allowed us to enjoy more of our vacation and even gave us time to get laundry done while at the pool. :)The only issue was the wonderful smell from the Rodeo across the street, but hey we are "Out West"Nearby activities: You are 5 minutes from the entrance of Bryce Canyon. Bryce is one of the most beautiful of all the National Parks. If you want to hike to the bottom of the canyon, I HIGHLY recommend taking the Wall Street Trail down into the canyon and then taking the Queen's Garden trail back up. This gives you the steep but BEAUTIFUL part first and then the moderate trail back up to the rim. I took us about 3 hours to complete and was worth every second of it. Be sure to take plenty of water!

Terrible, old, smelled humid, very small, the bathroom door almost hits the toilet, that's how small the bathroom is. The shower is old plastic, which the water backs up halfway up the tub. It is clogged. We spoke to Best Western's representative at the front desk and said someone was going immediately to resolve clogging up of the bathtub. We waited for hours for someone, which no one showed up! Also, there is no towel bar hanger, just a small hook for one towel only. Floor squeaks as you walk really badly, too. Sink has no room to place toiletries, and the plastic flooring is worpped and so wrinkled, which hurts your feet. The AC grills falls off the moment you try to turn on the unit. No safe electric plug-ins for our electric equipment. Most of all, the rug is black from how dirty it is. I was so grossed out!! They did not even offer any other alternative for our situation. We paid $550 for 2 days and no room service, which we did need. I have pic for this.

The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent and varied. Would have liked to use the self laundry but sadly it closed at 10pm. Honestly, I didn't share this choice, considering that the laundry was completely isolated from the rooms. Many other hotels where I had previously been had 24-hour laundry facilities. For those who check-in after 8pm it is practically unusable and this created a great deal of discomfort for me, since I had to hand wash some clothes in the room that weren't dry the next morning.

During my recent stay at this property, I was pleased with the overall quality and amenities. The property is newer and quieter than Ruby's inn across the road, and the spacious rooms offer plenty of space to relax. While the rooms are a bit older, they are comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of options, and the property's convenient location, just a short drive from the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park, was a major plus. Overall, I had a great stay and would consider staying here again in the future.

Don't choose any other hotel in Bryce Canyon region. Beautiful place; nice, big, clean rooms. Breakfast was standard fare but absolutely fresh. Nice pool too. We canceled our reservation at the Bryce Canyon Lodge to stay here; best choice made on lodging this trip.Nearby activities: One mile from the Bryce Canyon entrance.

I stayed here with my family while visiting Bryce Canyon this past week. The room (2 queens and pull out sofa) was very clean and large. Lobby and hallways also very clean. The breakfast was great. Many options and the dining area was kept very clean. Beautiful lobby and only a few minutes to Bryce Canyon. I would definitely stay again!!
