I prefer petsmart for their prices and their options as well. They have more options in store and online than petco could ever. The animals cages are clean, and they always have food in their cages for the right animals as well. Saff is friendly and always love seeing my dog. I've gotten dog beds to treats, and clothes. The clothes fit a bit too snug for him, (size M) but that always depends on who has made the clothes. The toys are amazing, it takes him a bit to destroy them. And the treats are healthy for the most part.

My husband and I arrived just before 9pm to pick up items for our new puppy. Roger not only was kind about us making them stay late, he walked outside while we were loading up our car, and told us to come back in and create our new dog tag (and he walked us through the process too). 5 stars for Roger! His kindness, care and knowledge was above and beyond

We've shopped here at least a dozen times now. This is by far the friendliest staffed, and cleanest PetSmart we've been to (and I've been to stores in multiple states). Everyone is so very helpful and kind. It's also a great resource for your next cat adoption! They always have kitties that could use a home (I have one from PetSmart, but we have three now, and my hubby has "put his foot down" hehe, we'll see).

I genuinely couldn't tell my dog was groomed. I could have done a better job at home.I'll have to get another grooming appointment with somewhere else.I also asked for nail trimming, and that was skipped.When PetSmart called, there was a rude attitude when they called for pickup.They shared he'd been ready for a while, and that they had called earlier -- I checked my phone logs, and there was no prior call.I will not come again. Bad experience, and a very bad haircut.

So horrible I went to adopt a cat there a while back she looked horrible the poor baby needed so much help and love. I went with my boyfriend to adopt her and the employees where SO RUDE! I AM 100% SURE they were judging us based on our appearance unfortunately as I was wearing oversized clothes as a woman. They said we would need to get an adult of 21 or older as we were 18 at the time to adopt this poor girl, I completely understand and was respectful of that. I had asked my mother to drive from Provo to help me with the adoption. The employees had said that was fine. My mother had gotten there and the same employees refused the adoption once again after telling me I could adopt her with my mother. When I had politely asked if I could speak to their manager for the second time along with my mother she kept on saying they were not there. They told us we needed to reach out to the shelter where the cats had came from and request to adopt her from there. I had called the shelter where the cats had come from and had explained the situation to her and that she said I had to request a form to fill out so they could give me permission to adopt her. The woman over the phone was extremely disappointed and upset the PetSmart employee had told me to do this as they send these animals to them in hopes that they can home more animals as they have a lot of animals that need to be homed. They had told me that they are no longer able to help us with the adoption because they had handed over these animals already to PetSmart. She explained to me that they send the cats to different petsmarts in hopes that they can get more homes that way. She was extremely disappointed and very upset with them as was I. I do not recommend going here. They do not know what they are doing. They do not care about their animals. They had also put her in a box with two tabby cats that were hitting her and getting extremely aggressive with her. It was clear that she could not be in the same box as them. I cried the entire day thinking about her and feeling helpless as I had done everything I could to try and rescue her. I hope that this employee no longer works there. She is terrible. I am so thankful that there were other employees there the next day and I was able to adopt this sweet baby. They had informed me on the paperwork that she needed eye drops due to an issue with her eyes. They were wrong. She did not need eye drops. In fact, the eye drop where making her eyes worse and she would cry every time I tried to give her them. I decided after a month of eye drops that I would not be giving her any more. Her eyes have opened up completely and they are no longer red and infected and they look beautiful. She loves her new home and enjoys sleeping on our bed every day and plays with her new sister all the time. I hope everyone looking to adopt that may have had similar experiences as I have does not discourage you about adopting a rescue. There are so many animals that have not had a home and have lived on the streets for so long. It is so heartwarming to see these animals get homes and see them clean and happy knowing they feel safe with you and your family.

My family has always gone to this store for all 3 of our dogs. Not only is their vets so kinds and passionate for our babies but also I’d like to highlight their training program. Both Sarah and Mel are incredible, patient, and kind people who are amazing at training! Armi completed her course about a year ago with my sister and just this last Thursday Brandi finished hers. With their help I’ve been able to understand my dogs much better and we will be signing up for more classes!

I came to the store hoping to adopt a cat. They had one that had been rescued that I wanted to adopt.The young staff denied mebecause I truthfully toldthem a dog lived in my house. I felt very bad because I really wanted a pet cat.I don't understand why they would deny a rescue cat going to a loving new home. Next time I will lie.

We went here on a field trip with my daughter's preschool class, and it was a hit for all. Good selection for adopting animals such as dogs or cats. Other animals available for purchase as well, as well as plenty of options for food, aquariums, etc. Service is always great. Highly recommend!

took my schnauzer to get a cut & nails trimmed. they said she was “aggressive”, which i can put my hand & my neices & nephews tug on her all the time & she is a tame dog but i digress, so they couldn’t finish the job. she looks like a naked rat because they trimmed way too thin & some parts are essentially just skin & hardly any hair. so her paws are a mess & fluffy & her body is naked. i am not happy with these results & will not being going back again. not worth $90 for a messed up job & now my baby is itchy & has patches of hair gone 😫

This store has just about everything you could ever imagine for your pet. We have a dog named Azure and a cat named Lucius that love this place. Of course, for Lucius it’s hearsay, but still. Both of them get a lot of nutrition, exercise, safety, and joy from PetSmart—which makes us happy!

Exchanged an item for my pet. PetSmart is for smart pets: They know what they like and what they know; Mines a picky eater but knows what's good and healthy; They like clean stores, stocked with all kinds of goodies. It's like Christmas and they know if they play you just right, they'll get what they want. Yes, you always take them with you to this store and you have to believe that PetSmart is pretty smart too!!

This morning when I dropped off my dog at Petsmart in American Fork, I left the store hoping to return home with a nice and beautiful well groomed pet instead they returned our pet not even half way done as you can see in these pictures. I have no words to even describe what they have done to our pet. The groomer Paige has done a very unprofessional job. I do not recommend this groomer at all.

Honestly should’ve listened to other reviews. Our puppy was picked up and every part of her body was a different length. Her leg was shaved to the skin, her back was long, he front part of her leg was longer than the back. Honestly paid $130 for this and was so disappointed. I was looking forward to having my baby taken care of and groomed, but she came out looking like she was groomed by a child. On top of that, we went and watched a little bit and they were pulling on our sweet dogs mustache to move it’s head, not in a friendly way. When we were checking our dog in there was a groomer that was being aggressive towards a small dog and made the small dog scared. Honestly just pay to go somewhere else.

After 10 minutes of waiting for the person in front of me to complete their transaction, they wanted cash back and the plea for help from the employee at register was going unnoticed by her superiors that were walking by, over and over.

The People that were helping me with my bearded dragon were not very kind when I took him back because he wouldn’t eat. Still waiting to get into the vet and it’s been a week and when I call for updates they are super rude about it and don’t give me a lot of information and they are trying to get off the phone fast.

Good selection of treats and toys and cute grooming products. Got some things for a doggie self-care gift. :) Really cute Halloween and fall stuff right now. Wish I could buy it all. Prices are not ideal but inflation is an issue everywhere. Bonus points for a clean public restroom!

Waste of time!! I scheduled a bath for my dog and while I was filling out the online check-in, I accidentally said that he had received vaccinations within 48 hours of the appointment (the question was poorly worded and I thought they wanted to know that he had gotten his vaccinations sometime before 48 hours before coming in). I got a call from Petsmart confirming my appointment. To my surprise, after showing up for the confirmed appointment, we were refused service. I explained that I misinterpreted the question online and had proof of vaccination dates, but because it was “blocked in the system,” he was unable to be groomed without rescheduling. Petsmart should have notified me that there was a problem with my appointment the minute I filled out the online check-in (the day before the appointment). Instead, I wasted my time driving all the way there only to find out he can’t be groomed. The groomers were of no help.

I’ve gone here for about a year now. Every time i go here the people working are absolutely amazing! Most places i go for pet supplies they all seem to be bothered with people. This place has some amazing workers. Highly recommend going to this store for you pet supplies! I cannot speak for the grooming salon as i don’t go there for grooming. All the in store workers are very friendly and so willing to help with anything you need. Thank you to all the amazing workers!

Get have some good stuff and they get 4 stars because the people in the grooming section were very helpful with my questions. On the down side they are Allah's trying to get you to sign up or purchase an additional service line dig training, grooming, vet subscription and the like.I was about to do the vet subscription until I called in and asked some advice for my pooch but when I looked up their advice online every article I read said not to do it. I then looked at the vet reviews compared to other vets in the area and the star rating was much lower.

I've had an appointment for my dog to be groomed for over a month now. When I showed up for his appointment I was informed that the groomer was sick and I would need to reschedule for the next appointment, which happened to be two weeks out. They weren't willing to work us in any sooner with another groomer. I understand that people get sick, but instead of calling me, they let me drive all the way there and drag my dog through the store to find this out. Terrible customer service.

Hosted a your for my daughters girl scout troop. The girls had a lot of fun and my daughter came home with a smile and several new animal factoids. I appreciate their customer service! Great prices on dog treats and toys, while the beds, crates, and kennels (as well as aquariums and terrariums) are pricier. Always a pretty good assortment of fish, reptiles, rodents, etc. for a big pet store.
