I enjoy shopping at this store. Imagine senior and usually need help occasionally there is an item on a top shelf and someone always comes to get it for me. I've been going there more than twenty years and the employees have been exceptional this long too.

Very disappointed in some of their produce cucumbers definitely have been frozen. They’re very mushy, and when you peel them, they have the light and dark spots which is obvious of frozen.

This is a perfect little store for buying food and drinks for a day on the lake or exploring and hiking the National Forest. They have a deli that makes grab and go items like sandwiches, snack trays, breakfast food like burritos, and other accoutrements for picnics.I'm sure you could also do your general grocery shopping here as well, but we didn't check out the selections for anything else other than the deli.

I guess it has your basics, but don't bother with the deli. It's almost never consistent with the quality of food, I've gotten unfinished food multiple times, I've been ignored of service multiple of times, and the constant rotate of new deli employees makes for inconsistent service. I find myself upset with the food over half of the time. But there's only 2 other food options in this awful town

Great looking produce. The shelves were fully stocked, every single one of them. I went in the afternoon and the lunch crowd was still coming through. The staff just kept fronting shelves and bringing things out from the back. Even the freezer and dairy department had no vacant spots. The store was really clean. Since we were going to the lake for a week I ended up buying almost $300 in food. There was only one cashier, but she was fast!! I was checked and paid up in less than 8 minutes... my husband timed me since I told him I would not take long.

Food in the deli was kinda cool. I also didn't care for the way they made my biscuit. Only had egg on it but the amount they put on you would think eggs are as expensive as brisket!

Stopped in for gas, and a couple of things for dinner. As always everyone there is super friendly, and helpful. Very clean store. Same great prices of any brookshire brothers. I was in and out quickly.Great stop if you're going boating or camping in the area. Nice big parking lot.

An upgrade from what a I would call a corner store. Restrooms are always clean which is important for pit stop. Plenty of items to choose from for food or drink options. I like the small fresh food section as well. Staff has been polite when I have gone here. Facility is clean and well lit as well.

Prices are really high, the selection is not great but I'm glad to have any kind of a grocery store to visit. The closest larger/cheaper store is much further away. I can usually find something that I can use, even if it is not exactly what I want.

Adequate selection for a smaller store, but still lacking. Employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are a little higher than any area that has more competition, but will save you a thirty minute trip to get just a few things.

First time in this store. Young lady at register was very rude. Yes it was getting close to closing time but still had 15 minutes so treat me as if I'm first customer of the day. Your tired I get that but maybe I was also. But I still respected her.

I have been in this store numerous times ( live out of town) every time I go to check out, the cashier doesn't say anything about the Celebrate points. I have to remind her. Every time. I thought Celebrate was a big deal!!

thanks for selling coconut creme creamer .... it's my favorite and it's so hard to find and yall had it. Usually yall have the Tony Chachere's white cream gravy that comes in a tall container (the container looks just like the seasoning containers that their seasoning comes in) and lately I can only find brown and red but no white cream gravy. Please each one of you need to get it becuz no other stores seem to order this stuff and we love it!!!

Love this place ❤ 💕 😍. Of course, the selection is a bit smaller, but they always have interesting new stuff you've never seen anywhere. The staff is wonderful! It is a totally stress free shopping experience.

Went in today 3/23/20 and everyone working to keep shelves full, unpacking stock and keeping things going. I appreciate the hard work, friendliness, and care that our Zavalla Brookshire Brothers gives us always, but especially during this stressful time. Thanks! The manager of the Zavalla store is exceptional. She is always friendly and kind while keeping the store well run and organized. Thanks again for being there for us.

Very clean from bathroom to the isles. I went here on the weekend of my family reunion since it was the closes place. I was scared out being an express it wouldn't have all i needed. Too my surprise I found all i was looking got with greet costumer service.

Extremely too high on prices! Very very slim on choices to choose from. Company takes advantage of being the only place in town for groceries. This is a town of mostly low income families, Brookshire should be slapped for no compassion to this community.

Convince, friendly and quick. The ladies in the deli and check out are very nice. The butcher will find you what you want. Very happy with this store.
