Came by to buy a couple of fish. The store had a vibe like it was closed already, but we pushed ahead and asked for help anyway! Despite there being 2, possibly 3 people in the entire building, it still somehow managed to take 15 minutes for someone to come by out of the backroom to bag our fish. I felt like I was trying to get wood cut at home depot or something!!!! The woman was immediately confrontational and took on the role of interrogator when I told her what I wanted. “How many gallons did you say your water tank was again?” “How many fish do you keep in there total?” I shouldn’t have to be asked these kinds of questions if I want to buy a couple fish!!! If I wanted an education or an opinion I’d ask for it. Not sure if I’d ask the people at the pet store with all the dead fish in the aquarium 🤦‍♂️. I chose to give this PetSmart 2 stars because even though I was aquarium shamed, they really do have quite the variety of products. Places like these, the quality of service changes like the weather it just all depends in who’s working there.

Usually a good experience here, but today the woman that was checking us out had absolutely customer service skills. She was really rude and seemed irritated that we were even there.

For the most part employees are nice. Some could be bothered less to help & some barely give the time of day.They NEVER carry a particular bird food I need. I've asked if they would stock more & they tell me they don't order I can go to website & do it myself.. Well if I'm going to have to do it myself, I'll go Amazon. At least they ship free & quick & always have it.They also say they aren't in charge of stocking, that corporate does that...even if you are a regular customer who using a large amount. Doesn't seem to matter. Like I said, there are some nice workers but don't expect any extra customer service from management, it's not happening.

I love this place. Honestly I love pet co too. They have different toys and clothes selection so that makes it fun. I have a hard time locating things sometimes but the super helpful staff is always right there.
