Our local HEB has gone through a remodel and boy have I been happy. This HEB now serves delicious hot and ready food also meals ready to bake and sushi 🍣🤤 you guys have definitely stepped up to the bat thank you so much for all you've done for this town with Harvey and with keeping us supplied with delicious food!!! People say there's nowhere to eat in Wharton!?!? Well HEB's my new favorite spot!!!-just stopped by this morning and saw there were some banners put up, good job on the graphics.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is definitely a friendly neighborhood market. They have excellent employees.Unfortunately it's a very small store. You do not have the freedom to choose from a variety of brands in this location. Whether it's space constraints or purely for profit I personally do not like being forced to purchase HEB brand products. In all honesty HEB brand products seem inferior. I hope that one day HEB will make a real investment in our community and construct / expand to house the variety we desire.

As much as I love HEB and they do have excellent service. The store is now reminiscent of a giant bowl of guacamole. Instead of corporate recommending an exterior facelift, I wish they would build a bigger store or at least update some things on the inside. At least the employees who work here are helpful and polite.

This store is smaller than those HEB supercenters...Variety is small, but they do have most necessities. Recently rearranged the store to add more items such as fresh sushi, and fresh tortillas.

Love the new layout. Got to get use to where everything is but it's great. Love how every Sunday they have a free deal at the door with coupon scan.

Good prices on some items but not so good on others but you can never truly go wrong shopping at HEB. Did curve side today and their service was exceptionally great whoever manages that section deserves a raise and possibly a promotion. Great job curve side..

Almost perfect!! I wish the employees were a tad more helpful when it seems you're looking for something...but overall it's a great place to shop. Love that they have sushi now!

None of the carts were charged. My friend happened to snag one as somebody else was leaving but it died on the way to checkout. I ended up pushing her to checkout. The girls at check out refused to get her another cart because they were wet. Not like we're in a grocery store that carries paper towels to dry them off with.

Love going to HEB their produce when I've gonna is always fresh looking and always have a good variety of meat available. Our cashier was pretty friendly and so was the bagger.

HEB is a Texas tradition. Good quality at good prices. Most shelves are fully stocked. Grocery prices are getting higher though, especially meat. At least they always have plenty of cashiers to check out quickly. Every aisle was well stocked.

This is the worst HEB in a 100 mile radius if not more. I know it has a lot to do with the community it is in but this HEB has a horrible selection across the board. Normal things that you would usually be able to find at any other HEB in most cities you cannot find here. Again, I know the selection has a lot to do with the clientele surrounding the area but I know it shouldn’t be as bad as it is. The checkout lines are usually always painfully long and there are no self checkouts either. The aisles are pathetically narrow making navigation throughout the store a nightmare when it’s busy. The seafood selection is practically nonexistent and the list goes on. This HEB desperately NEEDS a makeover, and Wharton deserves it!

Worst store !!!!! Do not come here save yourself time and money and shop elsewhere the workers are extremely rude !!!! And the store is dirty ! I was gonna pay with Apple Pay apparently they don’t do Apple Pay lady grabs all my stuff and puts them behind the counter like I’m going to run off with them I told them I had a friend in the next lane that would pay for my stuff and they refused to give me my items so I let them keep ‘em! Never will be stopping at this store would rather dive the extra 15 minutes else where

I live out of state and ordered a birthday cake for mom's birthday from the Wharton H-E-B. I received a confirmation of the date and time it was to be delivered. My delivery did not show up as planned, so I called the store. The lady in Curbside Pickup found out the driver was unable to make the delivery. She made sure that the cake was delivered to my mom anyway and I am sincerely grateful for her exceptional hospitality and customer service! I would recommend this store to anyone!

We were treated like trash. Went thru check-out lane with someone named Eva.We were getting groceries for my disabled 78 year old mom using her Lonestar card the cashier Eva didn't even talk to us and when I scanned my mom's card it wouldn't work. She kept telling me to swipe the card. She didn't explain why it wouldn't work and basically, she humiliated my husband and I. She offered nothing, no help. She made it known that I was using a Lonestar card. We finally just paid it with our debit card but what if it was a person trying to feed their babies and have no choice but to use it for their kids. I was very upset, she didnt say a word to us so we will not use that store ever again .If this person named EVA was rude to us how many customers has she treated like that. I am going to put it in my YouTube blog and on my Facebook web site

Selection is limited, beef is low quality, and a couple of managers are lacking in customer service skills... There isn't even a beauty department, NO makeup products. I feel that HEB is a large chain, and can do better since they monopolize the grocery store market. I'm in a small town, that doesnt mean I deserve less than other customers.

Absolutely love LOVE HEB! Friendly people with a friendly atmosphere. Almost ever register is open and if there is a long line they open more registers. The only thing I would change would be for them to turn it into a Super HEB.

The Wharton H-E-B is not only a great community partner but has recently implemented curbside. We've used that option a handful of times already, and it has made groceries and meal planning so much easier. It's not a dreaded part of my week anymore. Keep up the great work!

I want everyone to know Shanna- manager at H-E-B is my entire world! This woman has seen me come in and pay with change. Shes seen me after work when im filthy dirty and stinky and she still hugs me when im losing my mind due to stress. This employee is absolutely wonderful and I hope that she gets greatness in her career!!!

I had a bad experience with a cashierHer name is Estaphania, I don’t take rudeness too kindly, what got me the most is that she rudely tells me to go to another register and then she’s still checking out other customers on her register, I didn’t understand why she said that to me, if she still was going to be checking out at the register, that’s totally rude & I’ll never go back there again. This was in Greatwood 59/99 , time was at 12:49 pmI still have my receipt. Someone needs to talk to her about being more professional, this location doesn’t even deserve a 5 stars from meThanks for nothing Estaphania 👎👎👎👎👎

Oh my the fresh tortilla machine has been broken. You know you have a problem when you drive over 20 miles to get fresh tortillas and find out upon arrival that the machine is out of order and you just stare at the empty warm tortilla bin.

H-E-B ,Wharton's largest grocery store, the mecca as i like to call it, has the friendliest employees in my opinion. Quality products, amazing deals , and now with curbside pickup . H-E-B shows they care.
