Shipping was very quick! Install was super easy considering it was my first time dealing with PVC. We wanted to upgrade to a salt pool and switching to to a variable pool pump for energy savings. So far it's working great!

The order process was straight forward. On time delivery. I installed the unit myself and to protect it from the elements I constructed an insulated cover to protect the cell from the sun's UV rays and heat and also made a cover for the control module (see photos). Overall I'm happy with the unit.

I have had a relationship with Discount Salt Pool going back several years. I am on my second salt water chlorinator from them and have been extremely satisfied with both units. Their customer support is outstanding and is indeed why they deserve five stars. I have expanded and now purchased a variable speed pool pump and a Typhoon TJ16 from them. I got the wrong connectors and had a problem with the installation, but once again their support team helped and gave me the proper connectors without charge. I really enjoy dealing with them. They stand behind and support their products.

I won’t be installing it until the spring, but the packaging and delivery was flawless. I hope all the positive reviews are correct and I don’t run into any issues when I start using the salt generator.

Discount Salt Pool has been an awesome place to do business with. I purchased a salt cell that broke after only a few months and the manufacturer was a nightmare to deal with for replacement. The team at DSP helped me out and eventually got me a replacement. I would definitely do business with them again!

Salt cell arrived promptly. I used my old unions to secure. It took a couple tries to get it right. But fit nicely. It seemed to read the salt level accurately. I’ll update later.

Pre-sales support was excellent. IMHO Discount Salt Pool has the best selection of salt cell systems at reasonable prices. The installation was challenging yet a lot of fun, especially once it was finished. Quality of system and delivery was just as promised. Highly recommend.

Bought my system almost 2 years ago. I couldn't be Happier!!!! Extremely easy to use and setup.I've only had one small problem and of course it happened during the hurricanes. I sent the piece back for repair 3 days before Houston got hit with their hurricane (they had to close shop for a few days) and then I got hit in Fort Lauderdale with a hurricane. Once getting cell service back and calling to check on the status of my part. We all just had to kind of laugh at the horrible timing. John, Sonny and Jason went above and beyond in my definition of customer service and friendliness by deciding to send me a new part rather than making me wait for the one I sent to get repaired because of the circumstance!!!! Not too many businesses operate this way in this day and age!! Do yourself and your wallet a favor and buy from discount salt pool. You'll be happy for years to come. I am!!!!

Product was delivered a little than expected but arrived in excellent condition. It was well packaged and complete with everything needed to either perform a clean (new) install or to replace the existing “wayward” model.Installation was simple and straightforward. Someone with modest handyman’s skills can do this in an hour.Once installed and turned on it took about 2 hours for the system to start reading correct salt levels at which time Chlorine production was evident.After 24 hours our 27000 gallon pool is perfectly balanced and chlorine levels are perfect.I should note that this manufacturer wisely installed a cooling fan and vent system to help keep this unit cool. This was a major flaw in my previous system.Time will tell but for now peace of mind is at a high level. Thank you.
