I have recommended CAHW to several others already. I heard they might be more expensive than the other vet on 2920 (on the other side of 290) but I have not personally compared pricing. I am very happy with the services CAHW have provided for my fur babies and I’ll keep coming back until that level of service is disrupted. Always in and out pretty quick, no long waits in the lobby, and they can usually see me at a time that is convenient for me. Staff is super nice and accommodating (even when I’m in a mood or having a bad day). The staff is always very professional and they treat my kitties with lots of love and care. Thanks so much, Team CAHW!

I tried new bet for my dog and they where super nice the visit but that was probably because they wanted money after I called several days after my pet had gotten worse I tried to talk to the doctor he was obviously to busy had to call several time before he called me back and just said he was fine when I seen him if it’s neurology issues there was nothing that could be done of course went somewhere else for second option his got fever and prostate was enlarged they at least considered other possibilities I will never go back to them again $400 wasted in poor service

These people saved my baby!! When I got her to the vet hospital she was barely breathing! I was told we will do our absolute best to save her and guess what they did!! I absolutely love Companion Animal Hospital of Waller. My cat Arlo recently had a UTI and they were able to see him quickly. They are very reasonable and well worth the sometimes hour + drive for me to get to them 🙂.

It was a very quick and simple process for a new client to get an appointment. The staff are very accommodating and knowledgeable. They do not try to upsell for any of the services and they’re very honest.

Do not go here.We feel like this clinic scammed us. We tried to help a dog in need and told the clinic of the situation and services we needed to help the dog. They did not disclose their practice policy of requiring certain vaccines and lied to us about it stating it was a state policy. They then charged us for a HW test when we asked for dewormer (pyrantyl.) We specifically told them (on the phone and in person) the services we wanted and that we would be getting HW test and vaccines at a low cost clinic as this is a stray we are trying to help. The office manager refused to do anything to resolve the issue. On top of all of that, the dog is still having issues so we have to take him to another vet. I don't recommend this place. They will take advantage of you, take your money for services you didn't want, and refuse to make it right. Then you'll have to spend more money to see another vet. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Very friendly place to come into & very good people… but who comes to a vet for your experience?I’ve had multiple TPLO surgeries here & this place treats my dogs like family.. I was very nervous leaving DOC overnight in a strange place but they sent me pictures of him relaxing in blankets.They went the extra mile & that’s why I drive 45 min to use this place!Great job Companion!

I asked them to remove burr from dogs mouth, Dr said they examined dogs mouth and found nothing, after blood tests and unnecessary meds, I found and removed burr from dogs gums and she almost instantly recovered. Never going back there.

We had to make a tough decision for our 13 year old lab a few months ago. As a family, we knew it was time for her to cross over the rainbow bridge but we needed a new vet due to a very recent move. We were referred to CAH of Waller by neighbors and that referral was spot-on. Dr. Cate helped us with Cabela in such a loving and calm way. The techs were fabulous too! TODAY, I took our new rescue, Miss Maggie, for her first check up and had Dr. Cate again - another GREAT experience. Good info. Good advice. Felt super comfortable. I don't remember the last time I walked out of a vet saying "that was just a good visit". I should remember more names, but I know Ashley checked us in and seemed super sweet. Maggie even smiled for them ;)

The vet is always willing to help me with cost and let me do as much caring for my dog or cat as possible! She taught me how to rinse a wound and casted my dog when he tore a ligament and needed surgery, very practical and helpful!

Very compassionate and knowledgeable staff. We lost our Yorkie poo Henry (12years old ) 3 weeks ago. We couldn't have asked for better care for our fur baby than what was given by Companion Animal Hospital . We would highly recommend this veterinary hospital to anyone in need of vet services. 👍

Great place. We showed up unannounced right when they opened to have our dog looked at and they were so accommodating. This just doesn’t happen anymore with vet offices because of how busy they all are but thankfully it worked out because our boy was suffering badly and needed to be put to sleep. It was such a horrible day for us and the people and vet at this office were so wonderful. If we ever get another dog this will be the only place we use.

Brought my dog Popcorn up there and they did a tech visit and grooming. The price was good and the grooming was fantastic. They did a really good job. He looked like a new dog. Will definitely bring him back for grooming. Grooming there highly recommended.

Absolute honesty when it comes to one's senior pets. My MyLady May had overnight changes and a big city hospital missed things & charged be over 2K to tell me my dog seemed healthy after she couldn't walk one morning & was eating & drinking like crazy...and then after spending an entire day at that other hospital, my pup ended up with an insane sinus infection & conjunctivitis. Dr. McFarland(s) took the time & effort to try to figure out what was wrong with my dog & although after 45days, the walking issue may have been due to a possible stroke, we'll never know. Talked about expensive options to figure out what happened or going forward and agreeing to keep her comfortable and deal with the sinus issues at hand. She's 13 & seemed healthy as a horse one day and overnight an old gal...very hard to accept as I truly saw her being herself another couple years... Anyone reading this- stop feeding dried up up kibble! Get dental exams & certain breeds NEED the cleaning more often- DO IT! Enjoy you pets! Love on them! When they aren't able to get around, move them through their normal routine so they stay involved!! Sit with them when you feed them- it will encourage them to eat & drink! Change their bedding often as they have accidents! BE with them! I'm still taking my girl to sit at the pool, to let her nuzzle into the grass outside & just enjoy being in her favorite places outside, she'll still growl at the cat trying to rub on her lol I take her to run drive-thry errands and overnights with family. Yes it wears her out, yes she sleeps a lot, but she is still alive and she just wants to be with me and is slower to get about but I don't let her stay in get crate- I move her to her spot on the couch with me. It I'll put her on the back of the couch when I'm cooking/cleaning the kitchen. I move her to get computer room bed and I put a pee pad on the bed and keep her with me like always at night-time. Don't let yr pup spend their last weeks/months just laying in that bed when they want to be with you but can't...help them until they aren't interested!! Nobody wants to be forgotten about, we all need loved on through the end!! Thank you to Jason for walking us through all the 'what if's' in all the options available to make a thorough decision! These are the vets you want, those that take TIME.A TRUE blessing of a veterinarian office!

I would not recommend CAH. I’ve been going here for a few years and they have been ok, however I had to take my uncles dog in because he was very sick and my uncle was in the hospital. They had to run many tests on him and send blood work and biopsy to TAMU. There was little compassion considering there was a chance he might have cancer.When she called with the results, that he in fact had lymphoma, she again seemed very disconnected and even seemed irritated when I asked about our options. She had to put me on hold 4 times to get pricing options.I explained I would check with my uncle and get back with them. Her recommendation was to put him down because she said even if we went with treatment he most likely would not make it.Never once did they call to check on Gus or follow up with us.I get better care and follow up from the doctors and staff at the urgent care. I will never bring my animals to them again. Very disappointing and heartbreaking.Update: Gus is actually doing a lot better since I’ve been able to keep him at our home. Good thing I didn’t take her recommendation.
