If you only need a place to tie up for the night, it works.But you better get there before dark. No lighting.Sites are poorly marked with water and sewer on possible on opposite sides of your site.Lots of grass but the ground is rutted and uneven. No shade to speak of.This picture shows the men's shower. Pitiful!Laundry room was not encouraging.

I lived there for about a year. If there is an issue, they will work with you. They have laundry included, showers and bathrooms. Management is very friendly and accommodating. You are able to pay your lot rent online using a debit or credit card which I thought was very convenient. Overall, I had a good experience there and thought the price was fair. I have seen people just come in and park at odd hours, try and either give management a heads up or contact them during the day the next day, they’ll get back to you. I haven’t seen anyone get turned away for needing a last minute spot, heads up or not.

Good clean park, mostly field workers and short term folks. Julie the manger is great, along with the other park folks. Bathroom and laundry room are okay, nothing special but very quiet since it's back off the hwy.

We stay here every time we come home from traveling for work months at a time. The rent is best priced in town , its spacious,and pet friendly. They have plenty of shaded options for our 50 amp. It's located in a quite part of town close to walmart and the liquor store.The young lady who works there is friendly she addresses issues fast.I would always see her cleaning the restrooms and shower areas plus she would be on site to make sure the grounds were clean. We will be back soon.

We needed a place to stop for the night and this place was right on time. Definitely a place we would choose if we were staying long term. Very peaceful and relaxing. Owners were great. Definitely would come back if ever in the area again. Thank you Vernon RV park!

Close proximity to railroad, but was still fairly quiet - train didnt really affect us. Easy access off 270 - Never had the opportunity to meet the manager in person, but she was very polite on the telephone. Neighbors seemed very nice. Would definitelyUse this park again - maybe only downfall would be the ant hills - whichwe powdered ourselves - just be careful where you step

Great place to park the rig while in north Texas. When ever I'm rolling through Vernon, this is my go to spot. Super helpful staff and nice spots too!

My stay here was great the place was kept clean the host was very friendly and attentive. The most affordable place in town with 24 hour laundry access showers and restrooms.I have stayed here twice for months at a time and plan to do so again soon.

Lots of room in each spot, free washer/dryer that are old but ok. They raised the rent from 400 to 450 just because wind guys came to town. Quiet. Big field in the middle that you cannot enjoy because the stickers are insane and they hardly ever mow. Biggest issue is the amount of stickers. My dog can't walk out to potty without getting thorns in his feet... overall good place, less crowded than park down the road and way less strict. So I'll take stickers over micromanagement

The only good thing I have to say is that they accommodated us at the last minute and were friendly and easy to work with. This site is far more primitive than what we're accustomed to. No lighting, poorly marked spots, uneven ground. Our water hookup was buried in a hole in the ground filled with water and covered by weeds full of burrs. We literally had to reach through the weeds and under the spigot in the hole to attach our hose. Big anthills and lots of tall weeds everywhere made walking the dogs a challenge as well. The train/traffic noise was tolerable but the very close neighbors playing loud music and yelling across their campsite until 2am was disturbing. I’m ok with no frills but this place needs basic maintenance.

This was probably the worst RV park we've ever stayed in. Basically a big field which was full of stickers. On the plus side at least it was mowed and it does have full hookups. Not really a site to speak of and not very level. There is no office, no one to greet you so you just have to figure out where to go. No wonder they want you to pay up front. The bathrooms were disgusting, I'm so glad we didn't need to use them. It is a rip off for $35. We spent the night in a park the night before for the same price that was a world of difference. Gravel sites, green grass, picnic area, clean bathrooms etc etc.

Clean, quiet, and ample room to move around and park multiple vehicles if necessary. The washers aren't very reliable as they often stop mid-cycle but do the job. No wifi.

Great place to stay, I was able to book online and it was very easy to pull my 5th wheel through the park. Next time we drive to Houston we will stay again to break up the trip.
