Sweet Gourmet pulled me in with their sweet yummy smell. I was hungry so that didn't help. As I walked into the shop I was greeted within 30 seconds with a over friendly fakeness which made me feel awkward and this will play into the very end of my review.They have some great products that I have been looking for as I love to cook and bake. Their products are quality, which may be the reason why they are overpriced in this shop. I did find quite a few items that weren't so pricey.I liked the fact that they use some local vendors to stalk their shelves and that they had a pop-up shop for a local merchantI did notice and was turned off by the fact that they stored some of their food items on the floor, regardless if they're in jars. Their loose tea section is small but I was excited to see we have a shop here that has some to offer. However again they were on the lowest shelf and I found that to be odd. That would prevent me from purchasing the loose tea here. The carpet was dirty throughout the entire store. That's a polite way of saying their carpets are disgusting and made my stomach turn. It makes it hard to buy anything food wise in this shop. Not a good look for a shop that sells mostly foodThey have a huge selection of baking and cooking ware. I loved the infused olive oils and will be back for them.Now for the end of my review.... Their small talk was okay. When they realized I wasn't purchasing anything the small talk ended and I was cut off mid sentence as she started speaking to another shopper, I found that to be incredibly rude.All in all okay

First time visting, we were welcomed warmly. I cannot remember the lady's name, but she gave us a sample of the pulled pork she had cooking. We were hooked! Bought those same ingredients (in shop) and made it ourselves. It's absolutely amazing!!!! We bought some other goodies here as well, and they were equally as tasty! We have definitely found our go-to treat shop!

I wish a candle existed that smelled like this place. It's a mixture of fresh coffee, chocolate, and whatever amazing samples of heaven they have to offer that particular day. I come to this store quite often with my mom, and each time it's an adventure in what mixture of goodies we're going to find. It's rare that I leave with empty hands. The ladies that work here are so sweet and always helpful, and make the experience that much better. The oils and vinegars are amazing ( I highly recommend the caramelized garlic olive oil ) and the chocolates are divine. Oh, and jalapeño peanut brittle: you gotta try it.. Lots of nice cookware, as well. Can't say enough about this place. If you're in Tyler, this store needs to be on your bucket list!

Almond Amaretto coffee is supurb. Cherry Blossom tea is beautiful...and a good value. Fudges and chocolate treats are amazing! Great selection of Tyler Candle Co.

My favorite place!! I could just live in this store! The smell of fresh coffee beans and chocolate makes me so happy! There's a treat for anyone in this store. There's so much to choose from. The staff there are so friendly!

Came in looking like a hot mess after picking up an order from Sally’s with my fiancé, was asked if I needed anything and helped throughout the entire experience. They had some amazing savory samples out and we will be coming back for their pasta sauce and pasta + seasoning which they had prepared a sample with.Also the dark chocolate covered candied orange slices are wonderful 🍊🧡

Really great store. Higher end cooking equipment and really nice and helpful people working there. Bought a great chefs knife from them about 2 months ago and good price. I keep checking things out every month or so.

I went in today after forgetting that I purchased something two weeks ago and they had it held for me still. They were so sweet and the shop is just amazing and full of all sorts of unique things for gifts or even yourself. There was a mix up when I called and wanted to buy something and they gave me some sweet treats too! I will definitely go back and get some closing gifts!!

This whole place smells like coffee beans the moment you walk in. It’s heavenly. There are SO many options for purchasing too! And wow will you leave with way more than you went in for. Very polite too. I never knew about the place before today…. But I can see being a regular here now.

So. Much. To. See! They've really got ALL the goods. I love them for pumpkin spice gourmet pancakes and scones in the fall, delicious candy, nuts and coffee. Now they have a huge assortment of kitchen ware. It's a wonderful gift shop if you are looking for unique gifts. The ladies are so helpful. They'll giftwrap your purchase, if you need them to. I cannot say enough great things about Sweet Gourmet.

We really enjoyed the chocolates we bought here. Highly recommend the dark chocolate lemon peel. The black currant tea smelled lovely too, buy we didn't purchase any today.

So where have I been that I have never been here!?! This place is a gem! For my wife it is the puzzles that she loves but there is just so much more here! There is a lot here to look at, sample and buy! We were treated very friendly and any questions we had were answered. Definitely will be coming back here!

Everything you could possibly want to have in your kitchen is here. And then some. There is a variety of oils, vinegars, coffees, candies, and gifts. Extremely nice staff.

This place is Not Worth going to. Compared to Real confectioners that offer delicate chocolates and extras, this is a hobos pocket full of cheap candy. My last visit, and I mean, My Very Last...the manager and or owner were following me around the store while I shopped. (I carefully shop and take my time, 30minutes at least) when I chose a product and walked to another section of their store they, the followers, followed along cleverly "adjusting and straightening" the shelves, As if I did not notice. *I usually spend $3-4 hundred on sweets and detectable as gifts maybe more but because of their Insulting manners, I spent less than $20.**Note: the chocolates on display that I did buy, had gone to the stale side. Do yourself a great justice and favor, Go to Dallas and pick from a plethora of Way Better chocolate shoppes and be satisfied.

The store overall has a nice selection of stuff, but I go for their really tasty sugar-free chocolates (the dark chocolate almond bark is to die for!) and my husband goes for the white chocolate fudge, when available.
