Purchased a 2 inch discharge red hose and it exploded within a few mins of turning on and very dangerous with the design. Upon going to store to return this morning the manager did not return the hose due to hazardous policy. There was water in it and you could clearly see this. They have the right to exchange or return it and choose to not. I find this very unacceptable and I should not have to call the customer service line to be out on hold for a hour. I could understand if somone sucked sewage or contaminated water but this was water

This is one of the biggest harbor freight stores I have been in. Super selection of arpes lights solar lights tools compressors too much to list. Excellent parking.

BEWARE do not buy big ticket items here. They will charge you a $50 restocking fee if you need to return for a refund...even if product doesn't work. I learned my lesson. I will not be shopping here for pricey items.

I have purchased a few things at Harbour Freight to check them out as they have had a reputation of poor quality.Recently I purchased a pump for removing water from a foundation I was working on. The pump lasted an hour before it started to slow down eventually stopping. The pump housing was clear of debris and even test running the motor only the same thing happend. I returned it to the store expecting a replacment after 1 week and 1 hour of use. The assistant took my receipt a dragged her highlighter over a web address for me to apply for return. This will take several days for them to decide if they think failure is reason for refund and it will be 8 weeks to recieve the money unless I accept a Harbour Freight gift card. So if you are part way through a job you are faced with weeks of delay to your job, like pumping out a flooded footing/basement.I went to Northen tool and got a better pump for less money and Harbour Freight have lost me as a customer for good. Other stores, Home Depot, lowes and even Walmart are a far better option for quality and customer service. I do not belive any of these stores would even entertain some of Harbour Freights brands the quality is just so incredibly bad. Customer service is non existant and the attitude to customers with a merchandise issue is indifferent to the point of being rude. I really question how this company can survive.

4 stars because they don't always apply the membership deals or discounts automatically. I always have to ask if all the coupons are applied or if the current % discount is applied. Price always drops considerably after I ask.

Picked up the wrong steamer. The young lady was so nice. She called someone to get me the right one that was on sale. Both of them were very nice.

My husband had to pick up some parts for a project he was working on. He compared prices online at Home Depot and Lowes. Yup, Harbor Freight was cheaper. Although the store didn't have all the glits and glam of the bigger retailers, it did have that friendly, feel at home sorta service you get when a store realizes it's customers are not just $$$, but family.

Bought some gloves in a 5 pack. And the pair didn't last 3 days before they had holes in them. I returned a grinder wheel. It didn't fit the grinder I got .

I complained about a misleading ad. The store management said tothe BBB, I cussed and hollered at management and the cashier. That is a lie. I did not. I had a calm voice and I was polite, to them.When told no, by management and the cashier, I said that's okay. I rang up and left.

Love this place, plenty of man stuff there and good prices too. Got this 3x5 US flag for $6.99 most places would be closer to $20. Yes it is made in China but what isn't? These flags are really made well, last one outlasted the American made flags i was getting.

I made a visit to this store today with my husband and was checked out by the cashier named Court. His customer service is so outstanding, I've never seen such amazing customer service skills. He was so ready to relate to every customer on a personal level. Definitely made my day better!

Harbor Freight is a interesting place in my thinking. They have some really interesting selections of tools and things however most of what they have seems to be all either mid to low quality and what they offer. I have always found that their electrical operated items are lower end and you want to make sure you get the warranty and use the tool during the warranty to make sure when it breaks that you can get it replaced. It will break it does not last. I have had problems with electric drills electric saws and even hydraulic floor jacks for my vehicle. They do have some good options on things like tarps and other little things such as that. Their batteries are very poor and low quality and I typically don't buy any of them there as they seem to last very short time.Many of the stores are kind of small and the selection is not as large as a few of the larger stores of theirs that I have been to. They do keep the stores very clean and well stocked in most items every time I have been there.The staff has usually been very helpful and accommodating and trying to answer questions but they don't seem to have loads of knowledge in how to use a lot of the equipment that they offer. They do have handicap accessibility and wheelchair options and plenty of parking.
