I was in the store yesterday afternoon. My husband and I went through all of our items and a message came up on the computer that we needed a cashier to sign off on our beer purchase. It was a self serve cash register because no cashier was at the front. I had to yell for someone to come over and then was told I would have to go over to another register to check out and redo the items. The manager that came over told us we were at the wrong register with an attitude and proceeded to call her manager and discuss what was happening. What has happened to customer service in these stores? There was no sign at the register we were checking out at. And the manager wastold me twice to get on the phone with her manager to discuss the fact that she, the manager in the store, was doing her job correctly. Why was someone not close to the register to make sure my purchases was handled properly to begin with, instead of trying to prove me wrong. This is not my first incident with having no one around to help when needed at these stores. And I’ve had managers also tell me they are losing a lot of items due to theft, wonder why? I’m upset enough to tell everyone I know about the lack of service and stop going to dollar general completely. I get much better service when needed at Family Dollar.

This place is very convenient. Always well stocked store across the street from small lake front sub division my family lives in. This location always has what you happen to need. Definitely get the "you're kind aint from around these parts" feeling from staff but nothing extreme or uncomfortable.

Nice people, however the isles are clogged with merchandise stacked on dollies many times at night making it difficult to get around. Not just one or two aisles, but many. And no one is tending to them! I'm aware that these employees are well underpaid and de-incentivized so thankfully their competitor has recently opened an all new store right next door giving us customers a whole new option. Thanks Family Dollar/Dollar Tree!

Clean, usually always well-stocked uncluttered, usually nice helpful staff. Some end caps or aisle stands are placed if you have a wheelchair it would be a little difficult to maneuver. Great parking handicap spaces and open out front. It has a little of everything and staff is knowledgeable of where things are however, A STORE SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE MORE THAN ONE EMPLOYEES WORKING IN STORE ( SAFETY AND SECURITY WISE AND BENEFITS TO CUSTOMERS) in the future if I ever seen one employee working on a Saturday I will walk out. No one's time should be wasted in a line because of a stores failure to staff properly. And if you're going to have ONLY 1 staff member work, make it someone who's nice and doesn't resent being the only one working and it comes through their demeanor and their words.

I like Dollar General because they have a pretty good selection to choose from and you don't have to go to the grocery store in town. Most of their prices are lower than the grocery store in town. And their also very convenient since they are only a mile from the house!!!

My wife was able to pick out some clothes she needed since we had left to go visit our son and daughter-in-law and grandson And forgot her PJs at home. They had just what she needed!

I only shop the store to pick up something that I Need now.In General all Dollar Generals needs a good cleaning most that you go into are cluttered & understaffed. You can hardly get down any of the Isles due to all product in them.

Every generation seems to see these cheap stores go away the five-and-dime was popular when I was young the dollar store has been around a long time and now it's 99 and More Dollar general not much in there is a dollar they sell stuff over $100 and they're in the beer and wine trying to survive.

Love this place. This DG is better than most. Good management and friendly employees. Well organized and clean. By far one of the best Dollar Generals I've been in.

Conveniently located in the middle of nowhere. Need beer while in the middle of nowhere? Bada bing bada boom!! Staff are friendly but definitely look like they wanna tell you: "Your kind aint welcome round these parts"

It's a $ store. Very clean and they have just about anything you need. Plenty of parking, handicap accessible. Reasonably priced.

Don't go to the Dollar general store on FM 356 By Sebastian Tx.The store is a MESS andThe manger Chris does not treat his people right. There was this guy that had to stay and still work. (But still had to clock out for lunch and work through his lunch..) BULLCRAP...

Average DG. Sometimes a little messy but that's to be understood. This DG in particular is small and cramped because of how small their building is here.
