Extreme clique. These very small town people are terribly rude if they don't know you. They do not answer the phone and if they do they just hang up without saying anything. A potential new customer cannot call to ask question about stock.

I bought a new coffee pot from here but the filter cup was missing. I took it back the next day and the store allowed me to get an9ther coffee maker. The sales lady even opened the new box to make sure all parts were there.

Never anyone at the counter. Many times I’ve had to abandon my items and just leave after waiting 20+minutes for help. Luckily, there are better places to shop in town now…

Over charged $60 in last 3 weeks. 1st time took items back, got refund and went to family dollar instead. 2nd time checked receipt outside and got things fixed.Correct prices are not displayed, sales stickers are left after sale ends. I've been told it's the new system and to read the dates. Sales items are not showing discounted prices on receipt and THEY KNOW, unless you bring it to their attention they don't care.Aisles are cluttered, ladders are left in the way just waiting for a lawsuit when a child climbs up and falls. I'm glad there's a new Family Dollar Tree up the road.

I'm new to the area and I made Dollar General in Tom Bean my "go to" store since I live within 2 miles of it. Every time I go in there, there's a young man that works there and he is always very helpful and asks me do I need help finding something?People like him make the world a better place. It shows who you truly are... In no time you'll be the manager if not the General Manager! Thank you for being so sincere and helpful when I come into your store. Very appreciated.I never have gotten your name but you know who you are!!!!!

I had the worst experience I’ve ever encountered at this dollar general. Both the manager and one of the employees was incredibly disrespectful and quite frankly embarrassing. When I ask a question the manager gave me a very rude response I asked if she was having a bad day and she said yes and it’s about to get worse. Not sure what she was implying. Unfortunately I believe that her behavior has worn off on her employees and everyone seemed very unhappy. The only kind person was the poor guy working at the checkout. Which was apologetic for their behavior.

The employees are always welcoming and helpful. The store is clean and organized! They keep the shelves stocked with cute seasonal decorations. I really do enjoy stopping in at the Tom Bean location.

Wide variety of items available. Clean store. Recommend downloading the app and using the scanner on your phone to watch for the best deals. Sometimes buying 3 of an item will more than double the price!

The manager during the day has salt and pepper hair and wears glasses and the blonde cashier at night are the most hateful employees I have Ever encountered! They are flat out Rude and seem to really HATE their jobs! I will never shop at this Dollar General again! It doesnt matter what time of day you go... they are Both the Hateful and Rude women.

The store manager here is very disrespectful!! The way she spoke to me in front of other people was very degrading. If your someone that uses digital coupons. And for some reason your total isn’t right and you just wanna know if all your digitals came off right then don’t go here cause the store manager won’t tell you which ones came off and she won’t help you. She will simply say if something didn’t come off there’s nothing we can do. Which all I wanted was for her to tell me which ones came off so I could make sure my total was right. Another employee was trying to look at a receipt I had from the store in Howe for the similar transaction and she took the receipt out of her hand and said she’s a worker and that she is the manager and that she is telling me that all stores are different and that not all digitals come off for the same things at every store. Which is NOT true!

Prices are very reasonable. I shop there year round. Every week they have good sales and friendly staff. Clean store and if you need assistance they are very quick to help.

For the type of discount store it is, it's pretty good!!! I think that Mgmt at this store in Tom Bean,TX has changed because it has REALLY straightened & cleaned up ALOT!!! KUDDOS TO MGMT & EMPLOYEES FOR MAKING IT SO MUCH MORE SELLABLE!!!👍👍👍

They are not actually open until 10pm. The sign on the door might say 10, but they close earlier than that.
