Yeah I noticed a lot of negative reviews regarding HEBs..So I won’t speak on the experiences of the others reviewers. I will say from my experience I had a very good time shopping this grocery store. I’m not sure if it’s a regular weekly thing, but I found many great deals and coupons for items I was interested in. The produce depart as well as every other departments, was full stock with fresh quality items.

This store has a good selection of items. The produce is fresh and organized well. They have store coupons next to the item which is helpful. I've been to this store twice and both times it's been very busy. I like that this location has a very nice garden section. They have a large variety of garden plants, planters, and outdoor furniture.

So I went to HEB on yesterday 04/09/24 at 5:00 PM to cash a $54.00 state issued check. I was tired, just got off work and needed to get some gas; as a result, I decided to cash it there to use it for food and gas. When I walked up to the counter, I could already tell the person in the courtesy booth was in a bad mood, but I still greeted him with a smile which seemed to agitate him even more. He looked at the check and asked me what kind of check it was so I told him then he said we don't cash those kinds of checks here. He then said try your bank or go to the bank who issued the check. I found that odd because I've cashed that same kind of check there before. To me, it seemed like because he was having a bad day he wanted me to have one also. When I left there his rude behavior had rubbed off on me, and it was not because he wouldn't cash the check but more so his attitude. When I left the store I was disappointed that I allowed him to bring my spirits down. I went next door to ACE and got my check cashed without a problem. That was the first time I was treated so rudely at HEB.

This HEB is disgusting, it promotes its employees returning to work without enforcing a “clean hands” policy. I personally witnessed an employee walking out of the parking lot with an apron on still wearing vinyl gloves and went straight to work wearing the same vinyl gloves. I addressed a supervisor only to be told it wasn’t mandatory for them to change their gloves, I escalated the situation to the corporate level and got no response. I always had much higher appreciation for HEB customer service and satisfaction but now they lie at the bottom with Walmart to me!!!

Love HEB but the Texas City curbside here is atrocious. I have shopped my last curbside at this location. The service is sub par to say the least. My order either A has missing items I'm charged for. B mis shopped items or C has broken items left in the bag that are not found until I am at home. Do not shop curbside at this location. Also, this location has only 6 curbside spots which have been positioned at the front in the most congested area of the parking lot. Absolutely ridiculous. An accident waiting to happen while you are forced to circle the parking lot waiting for a curbside spot to open. I would give them no star at all if it was an option for this sad location that seems to have gone the way of every other establishment in Texas City; as in no standard whatsoever of high customer service.

I am quite fond of shopping at HEB. I frequently find sales and deals that I wasn't looking for but was excited to find.Fruit and vegetables Ben's are always meticulously cared for and replenished. There has never been a time there was not someone at the ready in this section of the store. Staff has always been courteous and helpful.

Not freaking happy about you guys raising you're already high prices! Especially on the Mi Tienda products, made by HEB...There is no logical reason or viable excuse for this. I am a loyal HEB customer...but it does not mean I have to stay one....

I am handicaped and use an electric cart to shop. On my last trip to HEB I left my phone and wallet in the cart. I was expecting the worst when i returned to HEB. But the office lady cheerfully returned them to me. Nothing was missing.All cash and cards were intact. Alex, an employee, found them in the cart and turned them in. He is to be commended for his honesty. I am on a pension and return of those items filled me with encouragment.

Very nice store with many locals shopping here. I have read some negative comments about the quality not being up to par and that’s just not true. If you want to spend more money and be alone in your buying experience then go to target. If you want some good groceries at a great price will no snooty staff or customers then shop here. Good hard working people making an honest buck is shopping at this HEB and I am proud to be one of those.Even got a free wedding ring from the produce sectionThis is Mother’s Day weekend and HEB came through

Texas City HEB is probably my favorite grocery store in this area. They have the freshest products and I trust the meat section lol. Always easy in and easy out. And this store always has what I need.

Very nice HEB. The curbside is always fast and the staff are all very polite and courteous. I would recommend to anyone. Also there birthday cakes are delicious.

Produce is much better then Kroger in Galveston.I will take the twenty minute drive just to do HEB. Still the same! Prices to me are even lower!

Big supermarket!!Anything you want or need you can probably find here.Good fresh fruits and vegetables, and a nice bakery.Prices are ok. Helpful and friendly staff.

Went to h.e.b today.had my tiny miniature chihuahua she was wrapped in my jacket . A Manger rudely approached me amd said dogs not allowed in store you have to have him stay out.i wasn't about to have her be alone in the car. So my bf took her to car .I told manager I see dogs here all the time and I always bring her and never had issues . She said they changed the laws and making it mandatory no dogs and she said sign on door. She than gave me a dirty look and said if you want you can shop somewhere else we don't care . I was appalled. I walked away continued my shopping . After I went to see sign and it specifically says no dogs except service dogs . However my chihuahua is my service dog .I got anxiety disorder diagnosed by my physician. I take meds .she didn't say anything about service dogs allowed she just said no dogs allowed . I spoke to cashier .they assured she's just a difficult manager to deal with . I won't return.to HEB because of this karen

Crowded, not enough parking.. especially on Sunday.. other than that a clean store with well stocked shelves. Helpful employees. Nicely done!

Really enjoyed shopping at H-E-B. I had not been afan of the company from a bad experience years ago. But I'm very glad I gave them another chance. Good fresh veggies, fresh meat, store was clean and service was great.

The only reason I made the detour to come to this HEB, is because they sold gyro (lamb meat) in frozen boxes that I can buy and prepare without creating a whole rack myself. Now it's been replaced with beyond meat, because no one buys it in time for it not to expire refrigerated because it's inedible and no one wants it. My loathing for vegans is justified more each and every day, bring back my Gyro.

Clean store and great selection as usual!Pharmacy is very unprofessional about delivery services they let you transfer but dont tell you they have a delivery mileage limit and delivered one week but the next week said we were too far when it's only 1 mile off the limit and ridiculous they come up with an excuse that the first delivery was just complimentary which they never told us at all so I am sure it's a lie and since the delivery is free right now they are being greedy because they are not making any money which is sad because they are making plenty off insurance companies from the medications and HEB makes plenty of money. Why have a pharmacy if you dont care about the customers who are ill and need medication who can't drive or have PTSD issues and cant go out in public. Very disappointed!

This store should be out of business. The managers are so rude, Kyle is one of the managers that needs training all over again on customer service, he definitely doesn’t care about helping his customers. Horrible experience at the texascity, H-E-B on Palmer Highway. Never shopping there again! 0 stars

Best heb I've been to. It was Easter and there were a ton of employees, almost too manybecause you are almost running into them and having to say excuse me every 5 seconds. Nevertheless everyone was helpful and even had the buddy character walking around for the kids. one employee actually just heard me out loud talking about what I needed and he immediately told me what aisle it was on, it was pretty cool. And this place has the best cereal selection I've ever seen for off brand and name brand cereals in giant bags! And they are only five bucks a bag! Maybe having to make more trips out to this heb even though it is far away

70% of their merchandise is still 40% higher than they were 18 months ago The national average is now at 3%. H.E.B reaped billions in profits during that same time period I've also seen some of the most egregious examples of "shrinkflation"( Which is permeant) I have ever seen anywhere. I can barely afford to shop there anymore So the next time your in there you ask the manager why HEB gets 40%. When the rest of the country is at 3%. They didn't give me a satisfactory answer. Neither did corporate on their Twitter account. Maybe you'll have better luck

Holding the standard for other grocers to follow. Good experience. Reasonable prices, fair selection and ample staff to keep everything moving. Definitely recommended for the area. 👌🏼
