Did a survey earlier today on my receipt, but had to come back to do one on Google reviews because of just how amazed I was at this location! It was clean, organized, smelled good and you can definitely tell the manager and the employees work together as a team because no matter what time of day I go here it’s always immaculate! Every time I go in the front end looks very well put together and you are greeted when you walk in. No waiting at the front end. Employees are very kind, attentive, and have amazing customer service! I’ve been to all family dollars in TC and I’m not trying to knock any stores down but THIS ONE! IS THE ONE! Hard work doesn’t go unappreciated! Keep doing great! See y’all soon! 😁

Staff was friendly but the store is a disaster. Shelves aren't stocked and loads of full totes and carts that need to go out. The back is so full you can't walk down the aisle with a cart. I had to grab paper towel and had to move carts of inventory to get it. We moved here from Wisconsin and I've been to several DGs, none have been this unorganized. Maybe more employees would help

The staff at this location is full of very kind people that work hard to keep their store running. While there is often an issue of boxes and carts in the aisles, it is only a minor inconvenience. Shelves are usually fully stocked and kept neat.

Always able to find what I need . Cashier's very friendly. But aisles still too cluttered with merchandise and things thrown on floors. Still a fired hazardous. Need more employees to clean store up. Hate to see our Dollar General like this because it's in a Good neighborhood .

Was kicked out by the manager because my in training service dog, didn't have his vest on. Cited ADA law to her stating that a service dog is not required to wear a vest in public and she said "well when he's in MY store, he will wear his vest or y'all will leave". Will not come back to this dollar general until this manager is fired.

Well we all know that the dollar store is next to an apartment complex with a element not of class or outstanding history but still has everything you may need in a pinch and still very safe. The people by the door asking for money is a bit annoying but get what you need and move on.

The store is always dirty very dirty and it is so crowded with too much product you can barely walk through it. It never changes. Has been like this for years. Only went because it was close to my house and I needed something in a hurry.

Well, I've honestly NEVER seen a place as dirty and underworked in my life. You can barely go down the isles because they never restock the shipments that come in. The floors are so dirty, an employee actually told me they can not mop because of the clutter. I'd enjoy going to the Dollar general instead of "The Dirty Dollar Store" as my son calls it. Needs work and better customer service.

The store was an utter mess, the isles were not organized, and no employees were available to help. I just left. Although I didn't bring any children I did find it funny and odd they had a sign stating only one child per adult was allowed in the store. I usually don't stop at dollar general and after this impression, I won't make the same mistake twice! All I needed was some bug spray. Should've been in easy in And out.

Each Dallar General is usually like the next one. Same sales same merchandise etc. This dollar general is dirty and unorganized. The isles were so over packed with merchandise falling off the shelves. And boxes of unpacked merchandise sitting everywhere all over the store. I couldn't even walk down some of the isles. I only hope that corporate sees this review and staffs this store. There are too many people unemployed to have any store so desperate for employees.

THIS STORE IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. There’s German Cockroaches running around the register area, back of the store wreaks of urine, opened and discarded merchandise strewn all over, cluttered shelves and aisles, the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock and had feces smeared all over the toilet, and insanely long waiting time at check out. I’ve been in some unsanitary stores before but this place takes the cake. I was so offended by the conditions that I’ve contacted Dollar Generals corporate office. Amazingly, I can’t ever seem to be able to get a hold of this stores manager. He never seems to even be at work. What is going on in this place?

The store is and has been WAY UNDERSTAFFED! Everytime I go in the store (and that's quit often) the manager is working non stop trying to get the store in order. And the store has the worst Wifi . I can't ever check my coupons while I'm in the store. I have to stand at the door or sit in my car prior to going into the store.

This could possibly be the worst Dollar General I've ever entered - in my life. The first noticeable problem was the absence of outside lighting. It looked closed, but there were a few cars, so we checked. There was one light for the entire parking lot which brings safety concerns to light. The second problem was the absolute clutter and mess in the aisles - pathique! A cart could not get through 99% of the aisles. The 3rd problem is a huge thorn in my side. My husband was looking for a clerk/staff to pose a question and a smart-a$:(# young man said "whatdayawant man" in a manner that said "I could give a #&%; if you lived or died". The whole shebang sucked and I, for one, will NEVER set foot in that store again. Upper management would benefit by closing this one or wiping it clean and starting over.

This location is definitely not one of Dollar General's best assets. It's crowded, frequently with unstocked shelves and rolling carts containing boxes of products needing to be stocked. Not filthy, but definitely could be cleaner. Not a good idea to shop here if you are in a hurry. While there are two cash registers, it is extremely rare for both to be in use. Nine times out of ten, even if I am only running in to grab one or two items, the super ridiculously long line for checkout causes me to take up to thirty minutes to get out. Definitely NOT a "Park-&-Grab" store.

Shop here all the time hello it's dollar general who doesnt. Love the sales on the drinks they have all the time 2ltrs I may say can't get enough of that soda pop. If your looking for gift cards and don't want to travel far they got them aswell, pet items got it, home accessories got it but one thing I have is some thing are just over priced but all n all good stop n shop

Bugs. Bugs all over and in the bread. That and over priced stuff triple the price compared to a little walk to Valero for cheaper things they have, if you buy bread there make sure 100% they aren't infested or moldy despite the date! Date dosnt mean anything when its not kept safe and stored properly!

This store is so congested with stuff people dont need. Can barely walk through ales with out bumping in to something. So un organized and only has one person working register. Cant and wont give this place 1 star. But have to give one because it wont post.

Good customer service and specials. Very helpful and even helped carry out 3 12packs of Dr Pepper and I didn't even ask them to help. Awesome management.

The isles are full of stock and junk. Its not clean and alot of expired food. However, the young man checking me out is always happy and friendly.

If all the boxesfull of inventory were not filling up the aisles , it would be amazing. Every store in Texas City, Texas has the same problem. Why not hire people just to stock the shelves or store the stuff in the warehouse. I went to look at housewares and all those filled up boxes were right in front of all I had planned on buying. Probably no one is going to do anything about it, is why I don't shop there as much as I used to.

The manager went on break with a store full of people. The line was wrapped around the store. The store was not clean. It deserve "NO STARS" but I had to give it at least 1.
