In an age with Amazon, and Chewy's the obvious question, is why shop local? Petsense's prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, but they are understandably more expensive than the big guys. I don't blame them for this reality, it's just how it is.The answer on why shop locally is to support small and local businesses. Also for the customer service. Unfortunately after a rare emergency situation with one of my pets Petsense's customer service failed me in a way where I won't be going back.The long story short is I had an incredibly anxious and hyper puppy post neutering that broke his cone minutes before Petsense was closing. I called in a bit of a panic asking if I could either pay over the phone and they could leave a cone out for me, or if I could come in less than 5 minutes late. I made several desperation pleas in a distressed state due to worrying my puppy would hurt himself, and after more pleas to the manager I was told that they could not help me and Walmart may have some in stock. They did not have any in stock, and long story short if I cannot get some good old fashioned customer service when it is needed most, I don't see a reason to shop at a place where I'll be spending more money when Amazon can overnight all my needs to my doorstep anyway.

I am so glad PetSense is here in Taylor. I don't have to drive to a pet supply store in Round Rock anymore. The prices may be a tad higher than Petco or Petsmart, but the convenient location and the wonderful staff make up for that. Plus the variety of choices far exceeds the local Walmart or HEB.

Visited while in a pinch for time to get food for our German Shepherds, the staff are knowledgeable, the store is just the right size to not be overwhelming for my wife and her anxiety with crowds. They treated us like regular customers from the start. Will be checking out the groomer soon as well.

They were super friendly and it took great care of am. I dog and I did a fabulous job, a bathing brushing and trimming her nails

Just had my 2 dogs groomed. I will definitely be back. This place is great. Puppy stylist was knowledgeable & professional. This place is super cozy. Big enough to find everything you need, small enough that your dog feels like a super star when he walks in.

This place has it ALL!!! The staff are super nice & quite knowledgeable. There's even a grooming shop! I love this place!
