I took in a couple of vacuums, a Shark (2020) and a Merck (2009), to ask if they were worth fixing. I was fortunate enough to speak with Thaddeus.After telling me that it would be more affordable to buy a new Shark, rather than get it serviced, he proceeded to the next vacuum. He quickly determined that the plastic base plate needed replacing. As luck would have it, he had one in the back. In addition to installing it, he replaced the bag, cleaned up the parts and even schooled me on wool rug vacuuming.This is the type of service that is rare in this day in age. Thaddeus was competent, knowledgeable, generous and not pushy, whatsoever. I would highly recommend this spot for anything vacuum-related. I only wish he sold cars ;o-)!

Outstanding customer service! Hunter was able to troubleshoot exactly what was wrong with my vacuum and fix a problem it has had for over a year. He also offered valuable advice on how to keep it running properly. He and his manager were both kind and polite and I felt zero pressure to purchase any of the products they had at their store. I brought this in a vacuum to David's vacuum that was probably 25+ years old. Hunter was able to determine and fix the problem on the spot. That was great!! But then Hunter offered the cleaning service to me. I got back a brand new VINTAGE vacuum that really works well. I don't have the before picture BUT Hunter did such an exceptional job it was hardly recognizable. I thought it was stolen from the Smithsonian!! plus Hunter provided excellent customer service. My husband and I visited David’s Vacuums to see if they could assist in repairing the canister to our Dyson v11. Thad did exactly that! He was passionate, knowledgeable, and very forthcoming about anything “vacuum”! He offered lots of tips and advice about how to maintain our current vacuums without the pressure of trying to sell us his picks. It was an EXTREMELY pleasant encounter. Thanks Thad!

My Shark vacuum stopped working. I looked to see a repair place and ran across David's Vacuums with great Google reviews. When I arrived, Hunter greeted me and got my vacuum out of the car for me. He took apart the vacuum while I was there and determined pretty quickly that the monitor was dead so I needed to get a new one. I offered to pay him for his time and knowledge on Shark vacuums, but he said it was not necessary. I highly recommend David's Vacuums for any repairs. Thank you Hunter for your help!! Highly recommend! Took an old Kirby vacuum in for repair. I expected to leave it for a couple days, which would then turn into a week or so.Instead, I was helped immediately. The serviceman opened it up, figured out what was wrong, and fixed it on the spot. Took no more than 5 min. And he did it with a smile and for no charge. And he was clearly super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Hard to find a businesses and employees that work like that anymore.I will definitely come here to buy a new vacuum or get mine repaired.

I went to David's Vacuums late this afternoon. It was right before closing but Hunter welcomed me in and took care of me. He asked me what the problem was (the on and off switch wouldn't turn off on my Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum cleaner). He took a few screws out and checked the switch out. The switch was stuck (or melted) in the off position. He changed the switch out, put everything back on, powered it up and turned it on. Then he turned it off and back on. It worked perfectly! I asked if he could change the two belts underneath that control the beater brush as there had been a burning smell lately when using the vacuum. He had both belts changed in less than 10 minutes. While there l asked about the other vacuum cleaners in the store (we haven't purchased a vacuum cleaner in 15 to 20 years!) He brought me up to date on each of them (the David, Miele, Sebo and a couple of Orecks) and even did a demo for me to show the suction of the David vacuums. He threw some cereal on the carpet and turned on the David vacuum and gave me the vacuum. It was quiet and it sucked up everything in front of it and one to three inches in front (or on the side)of it! It was amazing! I have never seen anything with that kind of suction. I was not there to purchase a vacuum cleaner but when it is time, l believe l will be going to David's Vacuums! Hunter was very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. He knows his stuff. I am going to take my wife by there so she can see these vacuums for herself! Who knows, we may walk out with a new vacuum cleaner! He even demo'd a David Houdini (something like a Swiffer, only battery powered and 100 times better!) I almost bought one but l have to check with the Mrs first. It would be perfect for our tile floors! I had never been to David's Vacuums before today but they will get all of my future vacuum business going forward - repairs or purchases.
