They took great care of my dog. He’s a goldendoodle so they had us bring him in to meet the groomer before we made an appointment so we could talk about what my expectations were for his groom and so they could check out his fur and all that. We used to use a mobile groomer, and he’s not crated at home, so I was worried that the experience would be tough for him but he did great they said and he was happy after wards and plus he looked really great! So happy that we found A Dogs Life!

First, let me start off by saying I have always been a very worried dog mommy when leaving my senior fur baby at the spa cause when I would pick her up she was always so miserable. When I started taking navaeh to A Dogs Life , all of my worries melted away. You have an option for “express pickup” which means you can pickup your doggo in your time frame ! This has helped me a lot because navaeh used to be so anxious and now is never shaking and always smiling because ALL the groomers and front desk staff there take GREAT care of her . They are the most nicest and most caring facility I have ever brought her to. I live an hour away and I still do not mind making the drive to take navaeh here ❤️ I finally found a place comfortable for her !!

I’ve been using this groomer for 8 years for my Yorkshire Terrier. First, they treat my dog with kindness and always greet her as if she is the only dog in the salon. LOL. The grooming is meticulous for what I want and they listen carefully. I have my appointments booked a year in advance as that’s how much I like this place. I wish they opened about thirty minutes earlier as that would help getting to work. And the parking is very iffy with the new taco place in the small center. BUT when I was recovering from cancer they came to the car, got Dolly so,I,wouldn’t get tangled in the lead. They still,on my days when I’m feeling my age will bring her to the car. The parking is worth the hassle. They are a smidge pricey, but nothing ever has gone wrong ever. So it’s worth it in my opinion. Give them a try, but don’t wait. Bookwell in advance.

Lesson Learned: Ask to speak with the person that will be doing the grooming to give them instructions. This wasn't the first time we've taken our puppy here, and until now we've been satisfied with the grooming. Each time we give instructions to not shave our labradoodle because it turns into a rash and he licks his wounds for a week after. It was written on our dogs blue card "Do not shave sanitary areas". Today when we picked him up we were told he was shaved on accident. They offered to give us $5 off and was handed talcom powder but was instructed to buy teething gel for a numbing agent to soothe his pain. The justification was "It's been a crazy day". They had an opportunity to turn a bad situation into something positive. It's sucks because our dog paid for their crazy day. If you continue to take your dog here, my advice is to speak with the person who will be doing the grooming to ensure nothing is missed in the current process.

Absolutely love them! They did such a great job on my little Pomeranian. Very professional and caring staff. When I picked up my puppy she was in such good spirits. Highly recommended carol!!

I've had dogs for quite a long time and I've always been looking for a really good groomer. And I have definitely found it here at a dog's life. My dogs are groomed by the owner and wow is she amazing. Plus she is super nice. Would highly recommend to anyone who was looking for a good dog grooming.

Went there for my dog's first appointment and went to go pick her up, and I quickly informed that my dog had experienced behavioral issues, the front desk lady and another one by her side both highly “suggested” that I should bring my dog else where due to her behavior and they said she’s a liability!! A dog ??!. My dog is still pup and she’s not use to these grooming experiences yet. And also she recommended for my dog to be tranquillized in order for her to get a proper grooming??? Plus, before I made the appointment they stated it’ll be 75.00, but when the appointment was over they stated final payment was 92.01??? I don’t know how it increased, but whatever I didn’t care to hear explanation, due to my dog not even given a second chance due to her “behavioral issues” this was her first time going here what did you expect for my dog to react like around new people!!!Pro- My dog's hair came out beautifullyCon- not promised pricing- my dog had dry skin- don’t bring your dog who has “behavioral issues”

Second time I brought my standard poodle puppy there and they are so great! My sweet girl comes out happy and looking fabulous. Other places she’d come out like she couldn’t handle the groomer, but this one not only is the haircut perfect (poodles are hard) but she gives them kisses as she leaves. Great place.

A hidden gem is how I would describe A Dog's Life Pet Salon & Grooming. Josh was able to help me pick which package to get that was best for us. Clean. Overall a great experience and will recommend to others. There was a mention of a parrot special or something , thought that was funny.

If I could give Negative Stars, I would ! A picture tells a thousand words ! The owner insinuated that I cut my dog's ear at home and glued it before I took her in for grooming where her ear just "fell off" during grooming. If you think I got any kind of apology, you would be wrong. The owner did however pay the vet bill in full after the vet staff contacted her (their decision, not mine).

I dropped my dog off at 8:30am as requested. When I made the appointment, I asked how long he would be there for and they said 4-5 hours. By 3:30pm I still had not heard anything from them about my dog. I called and they said they had just finished with him. I get there and pick up my dog. He looked miserable. They probably had him locked in a cage all day. When I asked why it took so long, they said it was because they groom the dogs who are requested to be picked up earlier first. If that’s the case, why did I have to drop my dog off so early in the day? He could have been at home where he was comfortable. When we got home, my dog took the longest pee I’ve ever seen him take as though he had held it all day.Never taking him back.

I have been going to a dog's life for years. They are wonderful with the furry babies . I don't trust anyone else with my pets. Before I found them I had a bad experience with one of my dogs. Love all of the staff. I highly recommend them.

The best pet grooming shop. Mrs. Carol and her employees can groom any breed of dog. Most friendliest staff. The dogs are so excited to be there and they are happier when they come out. Mrs. Carol has won many awards for the work that her shop does. She loves her clients. Highly recommended!.

I love this groomer and her staff! I drive from Conroe because of the quality services they provide my brussel griffon. I am very particular about the care of my dog receives and will not take him anywhere else. This is my second dog that Carol has groomed. I have been a customer of hers over 15 years. Just watch the owners pick up their dogs. I'm sure you will be as impressed as I am!

I took my dog there for the first time after a recommendation was given to me. I honestly don't even think they gave him a bath... I think they just brushed him out and cut around his face. $64.00 later which included tip and I need to give him a bath myself. I will NOT be going back there!

VERY POOR GROOMING | NO DISCOUNT FOR BAD JOBS | EAR INFECTION | $20 EXTRA FOR 1-INCH HAIR COAT, LABELED AS OVERGROWN | MIS-TREATING DOGS…? | RUDE OWNER | SEE YOUR DOG BEFORE PAYING.THEY MESSED UP MY BICHON (See pictures) — Requested ball shape, but they chopped my dog’s hair flatten in the back side and uneven all over. To them ROUND is SQUARE. He had very abundant mane for the requested style. What a shame my previous groomer moved!SEE YOUR DOG BEFORE PAYING. They WON’T DISCOUNT, no matter how angry you are with their sloppy job.EAR INFECTION My Bichon had a real bad ear infection after taking him to this place. He was untouchable for a full week until given strong medication.CHARGED $20 EXTRA FOR 1-INCH LONG FUR — He is groomed every 3—4 months, and I was never charged for “overgrown” hair anywhere else. What an excuse to R¡P PEOPLE OFF. Paid $100 to mess up my dog's hair coat.POSSIBLY MISTREATING DOGS — The two times I took my doggy to this place, he was notably withdrawn for a couple of days. Never happened before. He is extremely well behaved. If the owner treats customers with such rudeness and arrogance, what can be expected with dogs.RUDE & UN-3DUCATED OWNER — She thinks she can confuse customers into believing that “pretty Bichons on video are Photoshopped”, to justify not matching the requested style, when I mentioned K0reans being expert groomers. She needs to take classes about digital media, because videos cannot be Photoshopped. They claim to be experts with Bichon Frisé, but they are just choppers. It is about quantity, not quality. The only thing they are experts is about r¡pp¡ng people off for bad jobs.
