I found the salon to be clean and neat and organized. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating. We were able to leave our dog early and pick her up later, in order to go to a medical appointment in north Austin. Our mini Schnauzer was well cared for in our absence. Our dog looked so different that we didn't recognize her at first! She has never been as skillfully groomed anywhere in all of her ten years! I am sad because we had her groomed at this place while visiting our daughter from out of town, so we will not be regular customers. I highly recommend Waggs 2 Wiskers, because of the excellent grooming they performed on our dog and because all of the prissy dogs that were there when we picked our dog up. All of the dogs that were there looked well groomed! It has been five days since, we have been traveling and camping in cold and wet weather the whole time, yet our dog still looks beautiful and smells great, too! Try them; you'll be happy that you did! I posted a photo of my dog that was taken the evening before she was groomed. Huge difference!

We are new to town and I was in search of a new groomer. Today I brought Pepper and Teddy into Waggs 2 Wiskers for a full bath and haircut. They did an incredible job! I don't like the normal poodle cut, so I asked for the teddy bear cut and they exceeded my expectations! We will most definitely be back for their next haircut!- Friendly Staff- Clean- Convenient Location- Quick turnaround (dropped 2 mini poodles off at 8 am... done by 12pm

Great customer service, and my dog always looks great and is treated well. This is the only place I take my dog to in Bastrop as the owner has always made time for my dog when I have dropped him off as a walk in, and will always do her best to set an apt for a time that is good for me.I have a Maltese, and I typically bring him in when he starts to get matted, and they make him look so cute.

Jan 2 2024...great year for my poodle DUFFY he is 9 years old...and a boy...He was so knotted up and matted....I was taking my pup 2 a well known ESTABLISHED PLACE {will not say}I found her just looking for a close groomer for his needs...I came across WAGGS 2 WISKERS...I Google it made an appointment...I trusted my gut and soul she ,could make him look handsome..Ohhhhh was Only right my soul was too...DANA DID AND OUTSTANDING PERFECTIONISM JOB ....on the care of my pale Duffy...I walked in the door2 pick him up...he heard me.....thosr are the best tears I ever cried.....Anyone out their in the Smithville,Rosanky, Bastrop area....U need a groomer she 5 STARS and more 100% thank u Dana.....4 marking me and Duffy happy...GOD BLESS U ALL THIS YEAR WITH HAPPINESS...NANCY SMALLWOOD SMITHVILLE TX

I recently moved to Smithville and needed a groomer for my 2 dogs. I went on the internet and found Waggs 2 Whiskers in the area. My dogs went into Dana’s business without any fear or anxiety and when I picked them up a few hours later they were clean, clipped and happy. I think I like this place. Thanks Dana.

She was pretty quick and didnt require any paperwork prior to grooming my dog but both times I got him back (especially the last time in Dec) he had terrible shaved spots on his tummy near his privates and scratches along there from somebody pushing too hard. When I came to pick him up, all I heard from the owner was how good of a job she does and no heads up on what I was gonna find on him later at all. Honestly wouldnt recommend- as much as I love supporting small local business normally

It was our first time taking our fur baby to Wags-n-Whiskers. Pearl was in rough shape, hasn't been clipped since last spring, lots of fleas(6 other dogs,outside and in the country). I feel silly but I didn't get the lady's name, but she did an incredible job, Pearl was prancing when she got home. The price was reasonable,she was done quickly and better than I imagined. We'll be back for sure!

Excellent care of our Corgi!We secured a same day appointment to get our pet looking pretty. It's amazing we were able to get in. They worked very late at night to make sure everyone was taken care of. They also love veterans. Great place.

First visit was okay. As I picked up my dog the owner made me nervous by notating a few things wrong with my dog which made me feel like I was not a good pet owner. Second visit was better, one of her staff members did a great job grooming him and he smelled so good, she even gave him a free bandanna. Third visit, the owner mentioned that she may need to cut his hair in order to groom him more effectively. I did not want her to cut his hair because his curly hair is a valuable part of his appearance. Even more, she hammered the idea that she may need to cut his hair, so I agreed and said “okay”. Well, as I picked him up later that afternoon, she COMPLETELY shaved his entire body- I was shocked. The only problem I had with this visit is that she shaved him without my consent. She said she may need to CUT his hair, not SHAVE it.The only reason I gave her 5 stars is because I love how well her staff takes care of my dog and the fact that dogs do not need their shots in order to be groomed.

This was the first time we ever needed a Groomer. I chose Wags 2 Whiskers snd Dana (owner) did a great job explaining the process of what to expect. Our puppy came out cleaned, fluffed, and trimmed . Plus, she had a cute Christmas bow in her hair and handkerchief around her neck! Will go back again.

Dana really knows her stuff and loves her animals. She stays REALLY busy, but she and staff are always pleasant and fun the deal with. Price-wise her services beat the other groomer I was using; my dog requires only a bath and nail trim; she also includes expressing anal glands, uses a file on the nails so they don't scratch you, and offers a selection of organics bath products. Her aloe shampoo has really helped my dog's skin issues! Great place.

They gave my dog the best of care. I have tried to get his hair under control myself and thought I did a pretty good job until they touched him. WOW magical, perfect, handsome, exactly what I asked for and more. Don't bother to go to Petco. This lady is so wonderful. I don't know how to give her enough praise. I love the way my dog looks and feels and so does he. Thank you for giving me the perfect pet.

SUPER GREAT EXPERIENCE! My Border Collie Loretta had terrible dreadlocks in her tail and chaps. I had been calling around to other grooming places and they all told me that if they couldn't brush through them they would have to cut them off (an option I would use only if it was my last resort). I was eventually referred here by my vet. Dana took great care of Loretta and removed the tough dreads at no extra cost. The environment was friendly and loving! I will definitely be bringing her back. This is a great place for dogs and dog lovers and not to mention a very good price compared to other groomers who will not put in as much time or effort!

She went above and beyond for my Persian cat. My cat came out looking so pretty with a bright pink bow. I was so pleased. Lion cut and bath for $60 wow. Can’t beat that! Amazing and professional service. Loved it. Would recommend to all of my customers. My cat is so happy and strutting around the house like she’s hot stuff. 🤗

These folks do a great job and are very caring and kind to the animals. My flat-coated retriever foster dog smelled amazing (and still does over a week later) after she enjoyed a thorough bath with the organic shampoos the shop uses. The cut of her coat was just what I asked for. Very pleased!

horrible experience. my sister made an appointment and when we dropped our dog off the lady told her we had to pick her up before 5, we arranged for someone to pick her up by 4:30 and recieved a call at 2:00pm saying they were leaving at 3:30 because they were done for the day and if no one picked her up she would stay there overnight. If someone woulv'e told us that we would've not gone to work because who wants their dog to stay overnight at a groomer's. This was so unprofessional, never again.

Stopped by to meet groomer before I brought my dog in or made an appointment. So glad I did. The woman I spoke to was awful! She proceeded to tell me everything she would and would not do. Her attitude and negativity sent me right out the door. As a life time dog rescuer, I was also appalled that she is a "backyard breeder" and profits from selling dogs while thousands die in shelters every day.
