My wife and I were heading back from Corpus Christi, and decided to stop here for some chicken strips and fish. We are both senior citizens. The young lady cashier told me that there was only one fish strip left, and I asked her to change my order to the chicken strips like my wife. She told me she would bring me the fish strip, and chicken strips. When she brought our plates, my wifes plate had four chicken strips, and my plate had 1 fish strip, and one chicken strips. My wife and I are not stopping here again.

If you find yourself going through Skidmore, TX this is a MUST stop! Very friendly staff. Very clean inside. And they made the peanut buster parfait look like the picture. Most DQs can’t even come close to making them correct. And the blizzards have the flavors/bites blended all the way through.

The staff atvthis Dairy Queen are fabulous. My car had an encounter with some wildlife just before Skidmore. Was able to make it here. They made me a very nice gluten free dinner and I will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Was served a deconstructed double bacon burger. Fabulous!

Sat at the drive in for 5 minutes before anyone bothered to come on the speaker. They asked if I placed an order yet, I said no and they asked me to pull forward. I then spent 15 minutes sitting at the window before anyone bothered to come and ask what it was I ordered. I told them that I haven't ordered and they started to argue with me. I didn't bother at this point, I went elsewhere.Because of the incompetence and blatant lack of respect for other people's time this business has lost a loyal customer. I will be avoiding this place from now on.

Drive through lane is too short. We were waiting in the left turn lane o get in line when someone pulled up and cut in line. Ended up going inside where they seemed to be more focused on taking phone orders. Took about 5 minutes to get our order if 2 cones take. Cones were good though.

Very friendly place. Clean and the workers are efficient. The floor plan and décor are in the vintage-style Dairy Queen. I usually stop by here on my way through to Corpus Christi. Keep up the great job and see y'all next time! 🙋

We love stopping here when we are on our way back to Runge. The people are always friendly and the place is always clean. The treats are sweet, just like the staff. Highly recommend stopping by, great place and great service.

Went through the drive thru tonight, in 30 degree weather and was looking forward to my usual, a burrito with chili, cheese, lettuce and tomato. I ordered a burrito and they didn’t ask what kind, got home to realize it was a plain, small burrito, with nothing added for $2.15?? I called and they said they don’t ask if you wanted a “super burrito” or just a plain burrito. I was like WTH, then how do you order with the options? Jeez. I suggested they do ask that question from now on. Ripped off and poor customer service. They didn’t even offer to give us a replacement, which I would’ve drove back for. Thanks for nothing!

The fries are sooo delicious at this location! We tried the new honey hot chicken, yes! Must try it! Also as usual I love the banana split blizzard no chocolate! The people were nice if a little awkward in their customer service.

When we got there the place was crowded, took a few minutes to place our order, the order came out relatively quick, the food was was hot and tasty, and they got my burger correct, something the one near my hours seems to get right.

The food is always great! Servers only focus on one order at a time. Be prepared to wait. They don't move fast. Very clean. Restrooms well maintained.

Blizzards were good but one of the blizzards I was given the brownie batter blizzard was mixed with vanilla and you could even tell it was too pale you ask for a brownie batter blizzard and find it mixed with vanilla ice cream what’s that?! Even the Oreo blizzard I was given half of the cup has nothing but vanilla ice cream?! 😡 😡

Drive through line area is very short and your bumper is basically sticking out when you are ordering. Street noise makes it hard to hear the person over the speaker when you are ordering, too
