This was my family's first time, and we had an amazing time. We will definitely be returning! The kids were able to roam free and be kids. All the parents kept an eye out for each other's kids. The restaurant food was delicious! They have movies outside at night, playgrounds, paddle boats, kayaks, laser tag, and putt-putt. The Waterpark was closed, but all the other amenities made up for it! It was a great first experience!

Splashway Water Park and Campground is a very nice place to camp at. We went, but the Water Park was not open at this time. They had all kinds of activities to do during the day and had a movie each night. Everything was reasonably priced, and it was good to see the families riding their bikes or golf carts. It is pet friendly as well. We bought season passes for the Water Park. So we will definitely be back soon. The showers and restrooms were very clean and cleaned throughout the day. The staff were very nice and courteous. The fishing was pretty good, too, with bluegills and bass to catch. The ducks and geese were friendly. There were 2 ponds one was being used for fishing and the other for swimming. We can't wait to see the water park when it is open.

Such a great place to stop in for a day! Kids loved it, especially the large wave pool; that was the best they said. Not all the big slides were open but there was a good variety available. Lines were long to get a tube for popular rides and those double tubes were beastly so be ready for the stair climb! There were plenty of places to find shade and big plus to ability to bring your own cooler in without a fee. We'll definitely stop back through again! Best to get there early because it's a full day if you want to try to ride everything.

Very nice Waterpark! It's definitely worth the hour drive. (As long as you don't go on a day, it might rain, of course) There is good variety of water-slides and then there is the lazy river that connects to one of the wave pools. Food is pretty good, but I think the prices could be a buck or two cheaper. But other than that, it's great to bring friends and family to take a day off and just have fun!

We've been making this place the last blast of summer for the past 7 years. We have watched the park grow, but still keep that same small town family feel we all know and love!!! Splashway is the best there is in this category, and we are so thankful for the memories made here! Spend a day or spend the week, Ray doesn't care, just come have fun! Zero regrets!!

This was our first time coming to Splashway Water Park and it wont be out last. My family had a great time and the kids had so much fun doing all the activities. We did miss smore night but the park still had so many things for us to do. The park was kept very clean and everyone was so nice and helpful. The water park was amazing but what I really loved is the care my son got when he got sick from one of the rides. The staff kept asking me if he was ok and the EMTs went above and beyond to make sure my son was doing okay. The staff at the water park even called me 1 week after we left the park to make sure that our son was still doing fine. That showed us that they care for the customers and they have earned my business going forward. They do have two small lakes and I was able to catch small bass with crank baits and top waters. The RV spots all were fantastic and all the connection worked perfectly. I think we will get a spot near the trees next time we come, so I can set up a hammock.

Lots of fun for the family.Went on a Thursday and was not overcrowded.Definitely go during the week if you can.We were a bit lazy and decided to get food there. The cheeseburger was pretty good, my 10yo barely finished it and was full. The taco stand has better street tacos than most restaurants I've been to lately. Not the cheap ones either.

EXCEPTIONAL!! My daughter purchased tickets for her 18th birthday but became sick the weekend she was to attend. We contacted customer service but being on the weekend we were unable to get through. We got a message to Mr Blahuta and in a few minutes customer service called us, switched the dates and saved the day! They go above and beyond to treat their guests like family. Thank you Splashway!

This is an awesome Rv campground and water park. Been coming here for quite some time and they really have everything one might want or need. The cafe has good food and drinks. They host a variety of events throughout the year. Just recently they had a car show and chili cook off. Which I did not win but hey, there is always next year. The catch and release pond has a tons of fish in it. It can keep the kids and adults occupied for hours. They offer RV spaces, tent spaces and they have cabins as well.Over all this is a not so far out of the way campground with all the amenities needed for a great weekend. If you haven’t been you should give them a try.

The best camping experience we had last weekend!Staff were very nice! Cabins and their public bathrooms were very clean. They have staff who maintained the cleanliness of the area. There are a lot of activities you can do as a family; they have boating, biking, kayaking, and etc.We asked one of the staff there if we can have a late check out, and since nobody was checking in in our cabin, they were kind enough to allow us to have a late check out WITHOUT any additional fees. We were very pleased with their service and accommodation. We will definitely go back!

We stayed at RV park for a week with kids and grandkids. They got season passes since after the second day it’s paid for itself. I only went one time, so I bought the half day pass. Golf cart rental is kind of pricy. Nice people working here. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs. Will return next season in the RV. Kids can come back on their own with their season tickets.

We Love going to Splashway. They always make us feel like family. We camp 3 times a year and when all our camping trips are complete we can't wait till the next year. I'm so glad we found this water park.

Our family highly recommends Splashway. This park is perfect for the whole family. They have big slides for the thrill seekers down to little slides for the smallest members of the family. Along with a lazy river and wave pool for those that just want to chill out. There are lots of shaded seating options and a few different food options for those that don’t bring a cooler or snacks in with them. DEFINITELY bring flip flops! The ground gets HOT.

First and foremost, they fly our Stars and Stripes proudly, stopped at 1pm to have a moment of silence for our men and women in uniform AND played our National Anthem, at which point everyone stopped right where they were in the waterpark and stood at attention to our Flag!!! That's 5 stars alone in my book! Also, the park was extremely well taken care of and clean, trash cans were abundant and more than that, life guards were at every turn! There is plenty of natural shade and canopies to be had and lots of play areas and slides to enjoy for all ages. We had our 11, 7 and 2 year old children and they had a blast. Parking was easy, got to bring in a cooler with food and drinks, and there are plenty of hot food options at the park already also. We will definitely be back!

We took our 3 boys (7, 5, & 3) on a Friday at the end of July. There were kiddie pools with slides for my mom to take our 3 year old while my husband and I took our 5 & 7 year olds on the bigger slides. My 5 year old, who is smaller than the average 5yo, was just about the height limit. We all had a blast and can't wait to go back next year. My only regret is not getting there earlier since they close at 6 pm. Also, plan on renting a Casita for the day, especially if you have littles who nap. We did rent a picnic table, but it would have been nice for our youngest to have somewhere to lay down. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. They have tons of food available and also a bar at the bottom of the bigger slides for the adults to sit at while your older kids ride wait in those long lines. Restrooms have a changing area and are clean for a water park. The wave pool is very large and intense, so watch your kids even though they have life guards. The lazy river was another favorite of our kids and a great place to start and end the day. It seemed less crowded at those times, too.

2022:If you come to this campground in your RV, like we do, you will find that the price per night is a bit higher than state park prices... but after you come here, you'll never want to go anywhere else again! You get "full-hook-up" for your RV, so no worring about having to empty your septic. They also have some very beautiful cabins and larger cottages for rent. I haven't been inside one, but they are absolutely beautiful and new, from the view outside. Do not let the slightly higher price per night deter you!! If you come here even once, you will be addicted!! "Splashway RV Park" is the nicest RV park that i have ever been to, as of yet. There are SO MANY activities for children/family to do here! There is an outdoor movie every night. Set-up like an old drive-in movie, (with current movies), except everyone walks up with a chair. There are 2 HUGE outdoor inflatable bounce pads for everyone to enjoy. There are several very large, very nice play scapes. You can sign-up for lazer tag. My boys (12yrs. & 18yrs. old),LOVE playing lazer tag here. You can rent a canoe or paddle boat on their pond or go fishing (catch and release).I love the large, on-ground checkers and chess game! They have to be around 15-20 feet across.Basketball court.Volleyball courts.Trike rentals.Golf cart rental.Trails to ride your bicycle or steering-wheel-type ATV on.Tomorrow there is going to be a band on the stage.**PLUS**, WATER PARK**The water park "Splashway" is LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT TO YOU!! Play in the water park, then go "home" to your RV for lunch, then go back to playing in the water park. The entrance to the water park is about a block away from our RV spot.Grab a season pass and stay here a week! No having to rush around, trying to get to ride all the rides. Take your time and ENJOY the water park, ALL WEEK!!YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!2023:We love coming to Splashway Water Park every summer!! The water park is so nice. Lines are never long, except on Saturdays. They have several huge rides, a wave-pool, lazy ricer, baby area, toddler area, pool, etc...We take the RV and stay for days... It is so nice to have an RV to stay at and go into the water park every day. We get the season passes to Splashway. The RV spots all have full hook-ups. The water at the RV park is DRINKABLE... If you go RV'ing, you know what I mean...

My family and spent the weekend at the campground and visited the water park.Pros - There were plenty of included activities available for all ages, we traveled with children ranging all the way from 1-14. The cabin was clean and all of the residents were very friendly. We were able to catch and keep fish this weekend, and caught 2 huge catfish!!! We loved the wave pool, and also having the option to go to the flag for the pledge and prayer. The Saturday night entertainment was good as well, and we can’t forget the s’mores. Food at the Hideaway was pretty good, as we toured the campground we noticed a lot of things are about to be added such as additional bunk houses. We met a staff I think his name was Kayleb very friendly and remembered us all weekend to ensure we were having a good time. Also, lady at the entrance of the water park at the campground side entrance was Amazing, name started with a V.Cons - At the water park the wait time for slides seemed a lot longer than typical waterparks. Overall the staff was pretty amazing. Saturday: It was one lady who worked in the store and texted on her phone while it was a looong line waiting, she was easily redirected, and the Lady operating laser tag had an attitude (I’m not certain that she enjoys her job, or maybe she was just having a bad day). There was a waitress at the Hideaway restaurant talking trash about the cooks in front of customers. I didn’t see much sanitizing going on, especially in between Laser Tag games. Everything closed at 10 and lights went off at the playground/basketball court at 10 as well, maybe extend the time a little longer on the weekend. The golf cart rental was a bit pricey and it was initially given to us empty.Overall a good trip, the kids loved it and we will definitely visit again.

We took our grandkids to the Christmas experience at the park last night. They reminded us that Jeasus is the reason for the season. Great night, very well organized, lines moved quickly. Young adults that were working were so nice and respectful. Highly recommend. Great bang for your buck. Easy parking. I can't say enough about our experience. Thank you Splashway. Merry Christmas!.

Best day to go during the summer is when school starts back up during the week! Lagoon, big wave pool & lazy river water was nice & cool! The big kid area next to lagoon was hot. And now they serve alcohol 🍸 🍺

The staff & security are amazing!!!! Yall beat the one I went to in Orlando Florida! We rented a Captain Jack's Cabana it was great. Save us alot of money because you allow coolers to get in we took drinks, hot dogs, sandwiches! Also having public grills is awesome. Just make sure to bring your charcoal. No alchohol beverages was not expecting this. Also the lazy river was warmer than expected, and the wave pool not good bc it was a very very hot day!.

I took my grandkids, ages 5 & 3, to Splashway Park in Sheridan, TX and they had a fantastic day. The areas for smaller children were perfect. The life guards were very attentive at all times. I appreciate the fact that they were constantly alert. I love that we could bring our own food & drinks into the park but had the option to buy some goodies. There were many shaded tables where you could set up for the day but I would recommend getting there early to ensure a shady spot to take a break from the sun. Wear water shoes so your feet don't get hot walking through the park in the heat of the afternoon. One year later: same as above. We had a great time...again!

Water park gets 5 stars. Clean, safe, friendly. Great time, new slides, not too long of a wait for rides.Campground gets 3. Dirty, cramped, and the noise?! Good luck relaxing. There is constantly noise from golf carts, tractors, mowers, etc…We were in the “premium” section, on an uneven, dirty, crowded spot. I didn’t think I would even fit my 42’ fifth wheel into the spot, but I did. Trees touching the rig on 2 sides.Overall we had a great time, just be aware that the sites aren’t great.

We've been coming for years, and every year they add more and more things to do, places to stay, and areas to play! They even landscaped the cabins this year! They really feel like little homes away from home.
