Stopped here for a scale ticket after loading down in Stephenville. I think this is the first time in a couple of decades that couldn't use a corporate fleet card to pay for a scale. Hmm. Men's restroom was smelly and dirty. Several of the fountain drink flavors were out. Was gonna get a couple of corn dogs, but they look crispy, extremely well done, and hard as a rock.

Go to the Maverik right next door. Stripes has Absolutely horrible service just now.There were two people working and 30 people in one line. I ordered two burritos and had three drinks and the lady would not let me check out where I ordered the burritos. She said I had to go wait in the other line with 30 people in it to pay for my food, after I waited for my food. I just left everything and walked out

A lot of pumps were out of gas. All Trash bins outside were over flowing. And there was no water to clean windshields. Was afraid to go in because of the way outside looked.

Nasty, filthy, food was so burned couldn’t tell it was chicken. EVERY part of the store was so bad. Couldn’t leave email on corp website due to it not finding location maybe that’s why the store looks like this manager lost looking for it. Heath departed would have shut them down had they walked in.

Has anyone really seen a clean Stripes? This place was awful , the egg rolls and corn dogs were burnt so bad I would not feed it to a dog. They should never put that food out but they always do. They had 2 empty cups at the drink station , they have about 12 cup holders though. I really do not know how these places stay in business other than the gas pumps.

I'm giving 5 ⭐ to Trevor!!The diesel pumps get ZERO stars! But Trevor handled the situation like a pro, even when he had no control over the issue at hand. He was very friendly and professional.I would like to put in a compliment about Trevor. We stopped in at this location to get diesel and for whatever reason every single time we stop here, we have issues at the diesel pump. Today Trevor went above and beyond to help us and ensured that we were finally able to get diesel after all the issues we had at the pump. When I initially walked into the store, he was busy mopping the floor and stopped what he was doing to assist me. He was very professional and kind in handling the situation when I was frustrated. He had to walk out to the pump a couple of times to handle the issue with the electronics of the pump and not taking our card. He's a great asset to the company and this location! I wish all businesses were lucky enough to have such great customer service as he genuinely gives.I have also sent in this report to the corporate office. It's not every day people compliment employees but I think it's necessary that employees are rewarded for their greatness! All it takes is a simple kind gesture to make someone's day and Trevor, you're a charm and Stripes is lucky to have you on board!

It's not too bad,but .......Bathroom was not clean when I was there,trash was over flowing and the floor was dirty.All the Honeybuns on the display were all out of date, seriously all of them.But it's a Convenience Store / Gas station on the Interstate and most people just grab n go.

I don't know how anyone can leave a bad review. The guy working let us sample the food we weren't sure about, then loaded our boxes up!! They were about to close and I was debating on stopping but I'm happy I did. Great place to park for a 10 hr break and GREAT food! (At least in comparison to what truckers usually get 😅)

Came and got some gas and a drink for the road. The store wasn't too crowded and pretty clean. Went to the bathroom and could smell it wasnt properly cleaned before i opened the door, did my buisness quickly because the smell was terrible. There was even a small dead snake in the sink when i went to wash my hands. Should have took a pic but was in a hurry to leave.

This location is stealing $ .50 at a time for the cat scale. Catscale charges 13.50 at all truck stops for 1st weigh. This location will charge you 14.00 with a stripes receipt given, but the catscale ticket shows 13.50. We as truckers are getting hit from all directions. Thank you Stripes for showing how you appreciate the truckers for utilizing the Catscale. We get reimbursed by the amount on the scale ticket, NOT your printed overcharged receipt!

Good place to fuel. A big plus is that they’re little windshield wash stations are maintained. Coffee and burritos are really good as well.

The place is great and everything but the bathroom are disgusting as hell I think they clean them once a week they don't clean them throughout the day if you do it's once in awhile especially when the pandemic was on it those bathroom were more than disgusting then me wearing a freaking mask

Good fresh Tacos but their customer service lacks at times. Sometimes they greet you with a smile but they also have a few bad ones. Plenty of parking. Also beware of the bathroom. The toilets were dirty with paper all around the stall floors. One of the toilets really needed service as it had feces on the side of the bowl. I would show you but I don't think it proper to post pics like those... 😕

This is a large station and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained for a truck stop. The hot food area was very busy with customers. We had already had breakfast so didn't order. There were several regular customers as the workers new what food somenof them ordered on a regular bases.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I must do so now. This is for the Laredo taco place. I waited while three ladies were preparing the food. I asked what time they opened and one replied 5:00am. My phone said it was 5:30. And nothing was ready, they acted like I wasn’t standing there. So I walked away. Not my fault you’re worthless workers. That makes me not trust the food. But the cashier was very nice greeting everyone. He was cool!

I have 6 choices of gas stations to go to. And I like this one. Good deals on cigarettes and always has what I need. Always a fast check out even when their busy and friendly cool people.

7-11 has ruined what was once a great Texas institution.. I just stopped in to use the restroom and it was disgusting. Urine on the floor at every urinal. I didn't go into a stall. The sinks have the faucets that you push the knob down to turn on the water flow but it only stays down a second or less. My shoes stuck to the floor as I was walking out. Sadly, this is more the norm than the exception at all Stipes locations. If this is how the customer's bathroom is kept, I can't imagine what the employee's bathroom looks like, if there is one. The same people that are responsible for the cleanliness of this store are also preparing the food you buy here. Definitely avoid this store and Stripes in general.

Stopped to get tacos. Waited for five minutes after getting the attention of the young lady she was on her phone, when I ordered my food she was confused. I wanted the fajitas plate she asked me what kind. I said mixed. She asked what kind. The tacos or plate? I said plate. She again asked me what kind? This went back and forth I asked her to help me out because the menu is vague and she ask again tocos or plate I said plate she asked what kind. I bit my tongue and walked out. Change your menu or teach someone how to be in customer service. I'll never try again.

Went in and got gas, and a drink Whitley was the cashier that girl was running 3 cash register at once by her self just to keep the line going. She was doing an amazing job, very friendly, spoke too every one that entered the building

We've been here about 4 times lately and service has always been so ridiculously slow if you're doing anything besides just getting gas. The tacos are good but I'm not sure why it takes them 20 min to assemble when the ingredients are already made. Bathrooms seem decent but not always clean. Trash cans outside always overflowing. Long lines to buy anything... We've dubbed this place a time sink and decided to find an alternate stop.

Update 11-2-20Just adding a few things: First, they do have bulk DEF. You will absolutely want to go that route as opposed to buying the jugs which are an insane $17 and change each.They have almost nothing in the way of trucker supplies like lights, etc., but these things can be found at the Maverick travel center which is next door (a little further south on 281).Men's bathroom is about an 8 on a scale of 1-10 for cleanliness. Judging by a cussing fit I heard in there last time, I'm going to assume that it's a good idea to make sure there is toilet paper before using one of the stalls.Original Review:Standard convenience store atmosphere. Nothing on the walls but ads.Nice selection in the hot deli, plus a mini restaurant with stuff like fried chicken. Prices are great in the hot deli. They have a hot dog roller and the buns were pretty fresh. There is indoor seating with tables and chairs if you want to hang out and eat.Lots of gas and diesel/dual diesel pumps to serve every kind of vehicle normally seen on the road.Huge paved parking lot with plenty of room for semis. Pretty safe bet to shoot for if you're HOS impaired and don't want to throw triangles.Men's bathroom is usually very clean, but has been out of order the last couple of times I've stopped there.

Disappointed, the tortillas were not made. They were store bought. I hope they get it together. All the other Laredo Taco Company stores make the tortillas in house. Other than that the truck stop has plenty of parking. Clean all around.
