Every time I buy dairy here it is expired 50% of the time. Staff needs to do better checking their food and dairy inventory.this picture was taken 12/2/2. I have purchased expired sour cream, yogurt, milk and cheese. I don’t have time to run back to the store each time to get a refund.

This Walmart typically has everything you need. Great last minute cakes from the bakery always seem to be fresh. Meat is the only item that I feel they run out of. Not sure why that is, but they do have a problem keeping it stocked. Besides the regular Walmart items, they carry plenty of merchandise for college dorm rooms and apartments, showing the Texas State pride. Although I am always cautious, I have never felt unsafe in the parking lot. The outside could use some updating, but if you need something it is definitely a great one stop shop.

The worst service I have ever received. Three cars present for two hours. Came in for a simple oil change took 2.25 hours.I expect more from one the largest company’s in the world.Hire and staff accordingly. I paid for a $60 dollar service that should not take 2.25 hours with honestly hesitation that the job was even completed correctly. Do not come here. First negative review I have left in 5 years I do not believe in it. However, this needs attention.

On 2/13/24 I had an appointment at Walmart on Hwy 80 in San Marcos for 9 am, to which I arrived early, to get new tires installed on my car. The tires were ordered and paid for online and shipped to the store. First they couldn't find my appointment. Second they couldn't find my tires. After working through all of that, I get checked in and am told it would take about an hour to install the tires. Ok no problem. I go wait. After an hour I go to check on the progress, only to notice that my car is still in the parking lot, I go back to wait some more. Another hour passes and I go to check again, only to notice that not only is my car still in the same spot, but they are working on 2 other cars that came after me. No one had come to explain the delays and no one even apologized. So I asked for my tires and left. I spend hundreds of dollars weekly at this location, but I will not be shopping there anymore. I know it may not affect the bottom line of the corporation, but I prefer to shop where they have decent customer service.

Biggest Walmart I have ever been in, seemed really huge! Store was clean and well organized. They did not sell guns for some reason. Oddly enough the shelves seemed really high on all of the isles. Prices were amazingly good!

Every time I go there it always is a negative experience…associates either look worn or they are standing around talking to other associates engaging in personal conversations. The store is a complete mess I can never find what I’m looking for. Something really needs to change over there! Please management instead of pointing fingers take care of your associates.

Arrived at 0800 in the morning to the automotive department for a oil change was 5th in line asked how many cars in front of me and for an estimate on how long it will take they said 4 cars in front so about 2hr no sooner bc its first come first serve, no big deal that's fair. 2 Hours later after shopping I went to check on the progress of my vehicle and was told that there were 5 cars still in front of me so it would be another 2 hours or so when I asked how that can be when this morning it was only 4 cars he said people checked in online when I said what about first come first serve was told there is nothing they can do and I would half to wait the 2 extra hours so I canceled my oil change and went home I'm very disappointed in the way we were lied to and pushed to the side, I will no longer be getting automotive service there and will encouraging my friends and family to do the same.

Great for pickup, the parking lot is kept up and not completely chaotic. Try to avoid going around the back side of Walmart's area until they finish construction. It's blocked.

Last minute travel to this city. Well organized and lots of offers. Best we found tank and short sets for a huge bargain ($1). In our case it was a huge plus to our budget.

Bought a great value food item and did not like it at all. threw away the food and according to the box i can bring back the box for money back guarantee. i presented the cashier with my return QR code then the box. she looked at me like i was stupid and said this is an empty box. i had to tell her that it says on the box i can do this . she read the box and silently continued the return. she did the return it was just not a good experience. once she finished the return she just handed me the receipt and moved on… i didn’t know if it was all done but she walked away so okay great have a good day👍🏻

Store manager Yesenia, doesn't allow employees to drink water whenever they please. Employees expected to hydrate ONLY during their breaks. Thirsty? Too bad, unless you're on your break.Also, be aware that associates aren't allowed to take time off if they are medically diagnosed with COVID-19. As a result, many associates are forced to come in with COVID. This is across all Walmarts not just this one.A money first, people second company.

This Walmart supercenter is bigger than most very clean and well stocked. What amazed me was there's only four cashiers and only two of them were manned. They have your regular self-checkout for a few items and much larger ones for a whole shopping cart.

This is a complicated review.We were there to pick up a bluetooth adapter. My wife found a piece of material that she wanted, but it had no price tag or anything on it. So, we went back to the electronics department to speak with an employee. The person we spoke to was Rafael and he initially tried to page the manager, but no one ever answered. Rafael was left to figure things out on his own, which he did.He had to do quite a bit of research regarding the material and how to set a price for it. No other employees helped him out, he was left to do things on his own. It took about 15-20 minutes. After the information on the material was entered into the computer and he took measurements of the material, he decided on a price and asked what our thoughts were. We agreed on a price and we were able to checkout.What I want to point out here is that Rafael was left to do the job on his own. There was no help from management or anyone else. It was midday on a Saturday and there was quite a few shoppers in the store. But, nevertheless, when an employee calls for management, they should answer. This does not speak well for the management staff.As a Walmart customer, my review is that Rafael is a superb, intelligent, reasonable, patient and understanding employee. His help was greatly appreciated and I would be glad to do business with him again, anytime. As far as management is concerned, Walmart Corporate needs to take a closer look at the management staff in this particular store and find out just exactly why no one bothered to help Rafael. Could laziness be an issue here? It definitely looked that way.
