There was only one clerk checking customers out. There were at least five other employees around and an open check out available. The check out clerk was friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent liquor store. They are affiliated with Specs (not totally sure how this works), but they carry a lot of the same stuff that you can’t get at other liquor stores. This liquor store is in a league of its own for the size of the town. Staff is friendly and accommodating. There is even a drive thru for pick up orders.

I will not be back to this place. They have a decent selection, but I was yelled at as soon as I walked in and was told I couldn't bring in my purse. My purse is small to medium and filled to the brim.... it's also a $400 Coach bag. I have never been so OFFENDED! They were implying that I could be a thief. I guess they have trouble with thieves, but that is definitely not my problem.

Will not be back !! I’m 42 years old and I can’t be in store without my ID! I was in there with my husband! Never have I been told that in the 4 years I been going there! Super pissed!

Went in for rum and cuervo 1800 coconut tequila only had the rum. The staff of four all acted as if I had insulted them for inquiring about the tequila. Yeah they're the only liquor store in town and their lack of friendly & courteous customer care reflects it.

If you're a customer, the staff is semi-friendly or at least somewhat polite.The staff can be rude and they act as though you're a burden because they have to work.I prefer Wildcat One Stop Shop in Winona, Texas.The owner is so sweet and friendly. She is helpful and knowledable of her liquors and alcohol in the store.

Why would you have a drive-through if it's not going to be open. Drive-through is a huge perk to me and most other people. I just went through and the drive-through is closed at 8:40 in the evening. There are more convenient places to shop that doesn't have a drive-through. Just saying.

The employees are always 100% on top of they're game in this store.. Always very friendly & eager to assist you in finding exactly what you're looking for. And this store in Rusk Texas is always very very clean and organized. One of thebetter stores you can visit

This Fat Dogs can be hit or miss. Sometimes they have everything you need, and then sometimes you are better off going to a Fat Dogs at another location (Troup and Cuney seem to have better selections). With it being in Rusk, it makes it easier than driving to the other locations, but it would be nice if they all carried the same liquors. Military Discount is always a plus though

I like this place for beer. And if you got a cooler they will fill it with ice. It's perfect. But I like Lonestar, and the manager said he would not order more for just one person. I can understand, but still. I want it and you better hook me up with my beer. Lol 3 stars is still good in my book

Great selection for a small town liquor store. They even had Michelob light a beer I can't find anywhere else in the US. They had great local bourbons as well.
