I love love love this place! The veterinarians and the entire staff are an amazing group of women. Their love and compassion for each animal that walks in their door and their human companions is beyond remarkable. I have three fur babies that probably would rather spend their time in their office than at home. Soon as we pull up, they are more than excited to walk in. I feel they are very cost affordable compared to other places. They are also easy to get into. I’m more than one occasion they have taken in one of my animals at the last minute. I would recommend the facility to anyone with an animal!

I really love this clinic. I only had one day off work and needed to accomplish as much as possible with that day. I called them 3 days ahead of time, they had a couple of appointments for me to choose from. When we went in, they were fast and friendly and very informative. They didn't try and push unnecessary things on me, they got me a estimate up front and gave me a couple of options to chose from that fit my budget. The ladies up front, the tech and the vet were all so friendly and kind to my pup. I will definitely be sticking with them.

This is an Office of Precious Folks! After adopting a Fur Angel, our Dallas, from a Breeder, and not knowing any of his medical history (shots etc), I called this Clinic and we received Red Carpet Treatment! The Staff is Super Sweet and very compassionate about the Furries that visit their facility. We were given an appointment the very same day! Thankfully, our Dallas, had an AMAZING checkup and he's healthy ❤️🐶❤️! By the end of our visit, he had his necessary vaccines and an appointment for neutering. We thank you for providing such Love and Patience to our newest family member! ❤️🐶❤️

The staff is nice and professional but they are way over-priced. I felt the veterinarians there are young and inexperienced. My cat was sick last week and had two visits with multiple tests performed and still no diagnoses. Over 1k later and still no diagnosis. They were going to keep her this past weekend to keep her on fluids and quoted a price of over $600 for 2 days. I pulled her out. Enough is enough. They are way over-priced for the services offered. I am taking all of my cats and dogs to another veterinarian. They definitely are too expensive for the service received.

We inherited an 11 yr old Chihuahua with CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) in Nov of 2022, she wasn't expected to live more than 4 months. However, with the treatment regimen prescribed by the Bay Breeze Team, she is still going strong. Peanut (our Chihuahua) loves Dr. Fisher, and her soul sister is Ms. Kristin (the Super Technician)! I'm always greeted with a smiling face when I walk in the Clinic, and they are always very attentive to our (and our fur babies) needs!

Canela, my 10 week old puppy, is a patient here. We had an emergency yesterday, and they were quick to get her in and taken care of. Price was amazingly reasonable for an emergency. Less than 2 hours after we got home, she was feeling like herself again. I love the amazing team here!

I took my Trixxxie in for itching, a heart worm test and a rabies shot. Stephanie the vet tech that saw us was very helpful in making my needs fit my limited budget. Dr. Fisher was amazing too. Twelve years ago, I chose Bay Breeze Vet. Clinic to care for my dogs and cats and I'm so glad I did. Drs Harrell and Fisher provide excellent diagnoses, prevention and treatment as well as compassionate end-of-life care. All staff are fully trained and 100% focused on providing quality service to clients and their pets.Pets are family and those who care for them become family too.

UPDATE: An employee from the clinic that handles the online orders reached out to me for clarification. It was determined that there was some misunderstanding on both ends. She was very professional and offered me a month supply of the medication to get my dog by while we both dug into the issue and tried tracking down where it could have been sent. I left this review not to take a dig at anyone but to inform of my account of the events from my perspective. Their handling of the matter since has reinstilled my confidence in their business and I will be continuing to use them as our vet. Thank you Bay Breeze!My dog has been a month without his flea, tick and heart worm prevention because they decided to fix what wasn’t broken. We live in an apartment so it’s shared space outside with other dogs whenever he needs to go to the bathroom, so not good to go without. They don’t want people ordering from Chewy anymore because they lose out on money so they had me create an account on their program to order meds and assured me it’s the same price and just as quick. I placed the order for his meds at the beginning of the month and they canceled it because “he needs his yearly check up” which wasn’t until the end of the month. So you’re telling me he’s going the month without these meds because you want to do a check up. Makes no sense considering he could get fleas, ticks or heart worms in that time. There’s no excuse for it as the medication is weight based and he is 3 years old and done growing. So we get the appointment done and I resubmit my request for these meds to their online system. Over $300 and a week after supposedly being shipped, the tracking is showing delivered and we still have no meds. I call to find out what’s going on and they tell me “the email confirmation didn’t come from us so you’ve been hacked”. So their system is not secure. I’m out $350 plus still have no meds and who knows who has my account information now. All this because they don’t want people ordering from Chewy. I’ve never had an issue from Chewy. If they read any of this let it be this; DONT FIX WHAT ISNT BROKEN.

We have just visited Bay Breeze for the first time. What an amazing experience! The clinic itself is very clean and large. But, what makes Bay Breeze so wonderful are the amazing staff!! The front desk employees were very friendly, Lauren was an amazing and informative tech, and Dr. Fisher was the best vet we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dr. Fisher was so attentive and explained everything very thoroughly. Above all of that, they are extremely efficient. Our appt. was at 10:30 and we were seen at 10:30. I don't recall that ever being the case at any other veterinary clinic. Thank you staff, Lauren, and Dr. Fisher! Y'all are the best!!

I would like to thank Dr. Harrell at Bay Breeze Animal Clinic for saving my dog. She took the time to do some bloodwork and found he had underlying auto-immune disease. Dr. Harrell supported me during the 9 months of some hard treatments and put up with my anxiety and never-ending questions due to the emotional attachment I have to my dog. Yes, the clinic is busy and yes, veterinary care is expensive, but my dog was worth the time and cost to me. Thanks to everyone at Bay Breeze for all of your help.

I don’t often write reviews, but I have to acknowledge the incredible experience we have had with Bay Breeze Animal Clinic. Our pup Bella has been sick for a while. The ‘we didn’t know if she would make it through the night’ a few times kind of sick. I’m not going to go into details, I just want to say that Kimberly Simmons Harrell and Jessica Hayes went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for in every way possible. They never gave up on trying to find out what was wrong with her, which was not an easy task. They kept me informed and listened to me while I bawled, and I just knew that Bella was in the best hands possible.She’s home now and I couldn’t be more grateful. We still have work to do, but I know she will be in the best hands should we need them down the road.So, to make a short story long 🙃, thank you to everyone at Bay Breeze Animal Clinic- Dr. Harrell, the staff who are sooo friendly, and Jessica- you are the 💣 and I love you more. 😘

I 100% recommend this Vet! Everyone is very professional and welcoming. They had got my dog in very quickly for regular visits and in right away for an emergency. The communication and knowledge was all extremely helpful and comfortable. I can’t thank this office and Dr.Harrell enough!

Dr. Harrell is the best! She diagnosed a serious condition we were unaware of and went to great lengths to find the necessary medication at a more affordable price. She and her staff have been attentive, detail oriented, and thorough. Everyone has been friendly and compassionate. We have now moved away from the area, and Dr. Harrell continues to make herself available to our new vet in the treatment of our dog's condition. I highly recommend Bay Breeze Animal Clinic.

I don't like writing negative reviews but this clinic including Dr Harrell I would highly recommend not going to. I blame myself for not researching and reading reviews before making this appointment.I called to make an appointment for our four year lab needing the DR to look at his one leg where he limbs occasionally also his DAPP vaccination. After Dr Harrell came in the room she said "sorry our X-ray machine is broke" and when I called reception they should of told me. She then anxiously wanted to make an appointment for our dog which was 50 miles away to a specialist. $500 or more for consultation and X ray. She told me she won't charge for this appointment.When we left and got the bill the DAPP cost $19 more than our other dogs 3 year DAPP she had 2 months earlier at a different clinic. Looking at the bill they gave our sweet lab another vaccine I did not request or ever heard of. It was a 4 way Lepto booster. After researching it I found out it was for dogs with bacterial infection that effects the liver and kidney. This is not a required vaccination. Our dog had no infection. I am angry to say the least. Oh! Also first vet I have been to that also charges for disposal of needles. Also since we are from out of town as per other reviews they charge more. TRUE!

Short Version:Bay Breeze Animal Clinic in Rockport TX have provided upmost veterinary care to my pets since the time they opened in 2007. Thanks to Dr Harrell’s veterinary care I was able to enjoy the company of my first two doggies to the age of 18 and 17 respectfully. Now, my current pets are perky and on routine annual checks. Bay Breeze Animal Clinic are well prepared with advance equipment and technology to be able to diagnose and treat on a timely bases our family members (Pets). They have high standards, staff and technicians are well trained in what they do. Most importantly, many procedures are done at the clinic and appointments are always available. Even though for some, overall pricing may be expensive to their perceive expectations of what the price should be. We must look at the overall picture on quality of care our pets are receiving. In my experience, I always had a quote on what that visit would costs. There are no hidden agendas or overcharging. If you are price sensitive you may consider looking around. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend Bay Breeze Animal Clinic.Long version:Bay Breeze Animal Clinic provides extra veterinary services and emotional support that lack with many other veterinary clinics.When I was looking for my first dog, it took me nearly two years. I looked at all breeds and narrow it down to a breed I know would be happy and comfortable in its environment and with people. After I received my Dog (Kody) the next step was to find an Animal Clinic. I took Kody to a local well-known vet for the first year but there were always very sick and aggressive dogs in there. Bay Breeze Animal Clinic came into town and after reviewing Dr Harrell’s veterinary credentials and experiences It was a now brainer to switch.As Kody entered the geriatric stage of his life, he began to have geriatric issues. With surgery he was his old self. With Bay Breeze Animal Clinic Dr Harrell’s veterinary care, Kody reach the ripe old age of 18. On his last days, I could not take him to the vet. It was heart breaking and a difficult decision for me but I did know it was time but I wanted him to be in his home surrounded by his family. I called Dr Harrell and she with a staff member came to my home. This show dedication and caring to Kody, to the family members and allow me to hold him one last time.My other pet Rusty with Bay Breeze Animal Clinic Dr Harrell’s care also reach geriatric stage at age 17. At age 15 he developed water in his heart sac. Bay Breeze Animal Clinic Dr Harrell did a procedure to remove the fluid. I was able to enjoy Rusty’s company for another two years.I write about my experiences with Bay Breeze Animal Clinic because I think it should be shared for those who are on the mends what distinguishes Bay Breeze Animal Clinic from any other vet clinic. Yes, at times fees for certain visits can be above average from another clinic. We do have to consider the rising costs of everything from meds, to utilities, to high tech equipment to training, etc. Our pets are part of the family and their health care should be treated as such.With my experiences with Bay Breeze Animal Clinic, Dr Harrell and staff, I highly recommend to give them a call for your veterinary needs.
