This is George in June of 2017. He was 1 of 7 puppies left in a drainage ditch on the side of the road. They had been drinking sewer water, and were all very sick. We volunteered to foster him until he was healthy enough to be adopted. We knew he had parvo and some other intestinal issues, as well as a rash.We rushed him to your clinic, where he spent 4th of July in your emergency care, with Karen. She kept us updated, even when the news wasn't good. She sent pictures and videos when he finally pulled through after 4 days. He was only 1 of 3 pups that survived. I'm sure the medical care you provided played a small part is in his recovery, but I believe it was the love and care your staff gave him that saved his life. The second picture is George today (last dog on the right). Healthy, happy, and yes, a foster fail. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful, caring staff. We couldn't imagine taking ALL of our fur babies anywhere else! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Dr. Murphy and team have always provided the most competent, loving care for my furry family members. My Dachshunds females have torn each other up in jealous rages. Doc, has mended them every time. ♥️

The staff at the Pilot Point office were so caring and compassionate when I had to have my dog euthanized. They really understood how hard this was for me and did a great job comforting me. Thank you Dr. Shelton, Dillon and the young lady at the desk. You made a difficult situation a little easier.

4 months ago on Feb 26 I drove to this vet with my little guy vomiting blood. I was there when one of the staff pulled up to open the building. I advised her that my dog was very ill. Vomiting blood and had diarrhea. She asked if I had been there before. I told her no but my dog was sick and needed to be seen. She said we are very swamped today ( i was the ONLY vehicle in the parking lot. Maybe bring him back later or tomorrow. REALLY. I will NEVER go back there. I took my little guy to Country View in Aubrey and they saw him immediately with no hesitation. They kept in constant contact with me updating every 30 minutes or when there was a change. Unfortunately he did not make it. I now take my new puppy to Country View staff and the Vet are Awesome there.

Brought my sweet 18 1/2 year old shih tzu here while he was having seizures. Team was super sweet. We had to put my baby down there and they were very respectful of our time with him.

This was a first visit for a 12 yr old cat who had never been ill. $272.50 for exam, urinalysis and bloodwork. Diagnosis: you have a healthy 12 yr old cat and prescribed a sensitive stomach cat food. Veterinarian clinic in Denton diagnosis included medication for nausea, pain, appetite and loose stool. After 24 hours we saw great improvement.I would never return to Advance.

We had a very old dog we felt it was time to put to him to sleep, very sad but Harley couldn't walk much and no idea who we were. They were very nice, very professional and knew how to handle the situation. I am glad I went there.

I've been using these vets for over 9 years. Always great service. When you have 10 dogs, goats, cows, rabbits, chickens and peacocks, there's a lot of trips to the vet! Dr. Murphy and Dr. Shelton have always taken good care of all my animals.

We just moved here recently from a small town, over an hour's drive from our usual veterinarian. Our elderly Great Dane began showing signs of declining, and the decline rapidly picked up in the last week or two. I called and they quickly got her in for us to say a peaceful, quick, and quiet goodbye, even though we were not an established patient. Judging by how graceful he was with our old, sweet girl, we will definitely be returning to this veterinarian for our other animals' health needs. Thank you for taking such good care of our old girl Olivia today. -The Wrights

Dr Patricia Murphy is right at the top of the best caring vets I have had with my three dogs over 17 years. She is gentle and kind to her patients. She takes the time to listen and give you needed and helpful info to care best for your pet. I rate her professional knowledge and compassion as outstanding.

Dr. Shelton comes out for routine checks, tests and vaccinations for my dogs and my horses. His affordable farm call makes it so much easier. I have also had Dr., god bless her and her husband but I forgot their names, answer my emergency call when my baby suddenly took at turn for the worse due to cancer. They came out to my home on the weekend so she could pass in comfort, were professional but warm, put my baby down for us and took care of the rest.

I took my pig, Bacon, in for tusk trimming and the staff was wonderful. I did not meet Dr. Shelton, but he did a great job on shortening those tusks....They took good care of Bacon and charged a reasonable amount for anesthesia and trimming. They loved him and he seemed to think his outing was A OK...thank y'all so much for treating him so well. 🐖

I had to put my doggie down due to an incurable illness. Dr Murphy and her staff were very caring. They exceeded my expectations and made this very sad experience very dignified. We weee very appreciative of their service. Shortly after we received a sympathy card signed by Dr Murphy and her staff. I was overwhelmed by their sympathy.I took my other 2 dogs for their shots and again my expectations were exceeded thank you Megan for your profesional and kind assistance .

My dog was seen here for the first time, last week. This visit wasn’t a full-blown emergency, but her behavior was concerning enough that not being able to get in with our regular vet forced me to seek other options. Our dog was presenting as though she was in significant pain, which as it turns out, she was. The glands in her rump were very engorged and required a painful expression, but having never experienced this problem before, we were not aware just how much pain she would be in, over the next 24 hours. You’d think a vet would have the foresight, but made no mention. Instead, the staff was more concerned with trying to pump as many vaccinations and preventatives into an unwell animal as they could get me to agree to, which would be none—more on that below. Our dog seemed visibly relieved, after the procedure, and we booked a follow up appointment to ensure no infection had developed, her glands remained clear and to update her vaccinations.24 hours later, she seemed to relapse significantly: trembling, apprehensive to move, lethargic—something was clearly wrong. We took her to the emergency clinic and after examination, the vet was surprised she wasn’t given meds for pain and inflammation, as a procedure like the one she had can be extremely uncomfortable while healing. She was examined for infection and we left with a script to reduce inflammation and control pain.It wasn’t until this morning that I realized I had forgotten to cancel today’s follow-up I’d scheduled with AdvancedCare. I had no intentions on returning to a clinic so unconcerned with the comfort of my dog, yet so adamant they sell all the vaccines and preventative treatments they could muster; however, I didn’t want to cancel under such short notice. I figured a follow up exam and a rabies vaccination, to stay compliant, would be OK. I’d have our regular vet update the remaining vaccines.Upon arrival, there were two men at the front desk. One went to the back office while the other stayed up front to get my info. It was at that point the vaccination interrogation started. I had no intentions of having anything more than the follow up and rabies shot, as I wanted as little hands-on with this office as possible. You’d think a simple “no” would be sufficient, to avoid the awkward explanation that I really no longer trusted these folks with my dog, but I was questioned for 3-5 minutes and “politely educated” on why I was making such an idiotic decision. The passive aggressive schooling continued, while I was escorted to a room and told to wait for the tech. Fantastic. In the exam room, a female tech took over for the man who started the vaccination assault. Again with the whys and hows of exposing my pet to unnecessary risk—as if I wasn’t already aware, and unbeknownst to her, already thousands of dollars into the level of pet care some humans don’t even receive, for my three dogs. But...she continued...I again politely declined, at which time she was joined by the other man I’d seen up front, who I then learned was a vet, but only through deductive reasoning, as no one at any point actually introduced themselves. His dialogue wasn’t quite as confrontational as the other two, regarding the vaccinations, but the passive aggressive undertone, attempting to drive home guilt, was definitely present. Exam: complete. Rabies vaccine: reluctantly, complete. If all this wasn’t bad enough, the tech had the nerve to escort me to a separate check out counter, rather than the front lobby I checked out in at my last visit, to “avoid possibly coming in contact with other dogs”.....(I swear on my socks, she actually said that) because the bad dog mom and her leprous, inadequately vaccinated pet might infect all zero patients in the lobby. To the staff at AdvanceCare: thank you for validating my reluctance to come back to you for a follow up. If I wasn’t entirely convinced before, I am 110% confident we won’t be trusting you with our dogs’ health.

If I could give a zero star review I would. I had a Shih Tzu named Panda. Notice I said HAD!She hated being trimmed so we asked them to put her on anesthesia and to shave her. They told us it would last a couple of hours but it lasted almost two weeks, and from there she proceded to get very sick. My family and I called them for a week straight because she was sick and we needed to get her checked out.We called several times a day and they would not answer. After that week of calling we finally got her to another vet and they said it was too late to help her.My not even 1 year old puppy died in my arms that night. After she had died they finally called us back claiming that they were helping a cow give birth.Do not and I repeat do not go to these people. We have a much better and amazing vet now in between Whitesboro and Collinsville. They treat you and your animals like you are family. I've had two of my animals fixed by them and get this. The anesthesia? Lasts a couple hours like its supposed to! Wow!Our new vet explained what had happened to Panda before she died (they are the ones we took her to the day she died). These people overdosed her on anesthesia. No shock there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! My father took our family dog here for an issue with infection. The next day he went to visit and our dog was doing better. Looking around and interacting. Later that day our dog passed away in a pile of his own vomit and no understandable reason as to why was given. This is not acceptable. Take this as a warning. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!

They were super nice! Of the three places I called in Pilot Point, they were the cheapest for self-pay patients ($80-95 for an appt). When I went in there was absolutely no wait time, and they got a prescription over for me asap, after making sure it was ok for me to take. I will definitely go back :)

I will never walk in the place again. Brought one of my cats home and had to hand feed it back to health. Then Dr. Murphy had the nerve to charge me $31.00 to swab my other cats ear then another $25.00 to run the test! She has looked after my cats for several years and always cleaned their ears...thought it was part of the process. Was never charged EXTRA! That was it, she’s not going to get me again. Business must be down.

Had to bring my dog in last minute on a budget. The tech was really nice and vet was as well and did her best to keep me under the budget while still finding ways to make sure my dog was taken care of.

Had a vet call for a coggins test and my bill came out to over $200 FOR A COGGINS TEST. Apparently the gelding had to be tranquilized and they charged me for FIVE TIMES the dosage a horse of his size would need. He's 700 lbs, they (apparently) charged me for enough to down a 3500lb horse.
