I tried this place for the first time due to the good reviews and my puppy of 5 months old had a really good experience. We luckily went on a day they were not too busy and so not many dogs were there. Groomer was very informative and patient when asking what style i wanted for my mini schnauzer. Will bring my dogs here again!

Initially I had reservations about getting my sheepadoodle groomed because we are not from this area. I took a chance on Scruffy 2 Fluffy and I must say it has been the best grooming experience my pup has ever had!! The groomer was careful and paid attention to detail. She had my pup looking so amazing! Even after a previous bad cut. Thanks again! We hope to visit again!

My Emiko was treated poorly by another groomer before we even spoke about packages, I was recommended Scruffy to Fluffy by a client and Ms.Tammi saved the day, Emiko get groomed 2x a month and always looks forward to her bath. My Girl is an Akita and they do a fantastic job with her

Loved the place. At first I was a little nervous since my fur baby had never been to the groomers but I was so happy with the service they provided. My fur baby came out wagging his tail looking so fluffy and clean.

Absolutely amazing place, such a great facility and caring professional staff. They made sure to fully describe what the grooming packages had, very transparent with the prices and such affordable prices. They made my pugs feels so comfortable by even bathing them together to help their anxiety. Definitely going to make this their go to groomers, highly recommend!!

We take our 3 dogs to get groomed at Scruffy to Fluffy. It is a bit pricey though very worth it. The groomers are very kind and informative. They always greet our dogs by name as soon as we enter the building. You can tell they truly care about our animals. I recommend this grooming salon.

These folks are all about comfort for your pup. My little guy usually freaks out when he is left for a groom. We are new to the area and found Scruffy to Fluffy and thought we would give them a try. They were so good and took the time to calm and make him feel comfy before we left. They did a great job, and my pup was ok and not a problem at all for them. Reasonably priced, very clean shop. We will adopt them as our groomers.

Had a wonderful experience at Scruffy 2 Fluffy, it was my first time here and they were so helpful with suggestions and were very accommodating to my needs. I would definitely recommend trying them out and the prices are very reasonable, especially if you’re like me and on a budget. My dogs also really liked the staff.

Excellent experience. I went 1st time with my dog for a nail clipping. My dog was scared so Tammy sat down and clipped away with my dog instead of forcing my dog to go (like other grooming places). Really made my dog feel comfortable and got a free treat. My mom had an excellent 1st time experience as well. Very welcoming & great communication skills. Highly underrated place to go for grooming needs.

I definitely recommend this place. Super friendly and all around good vibes. I have a yorkie poo and they took such good care of her. The handler immediately made sure that my dog felt comfortable and safe. Explained everything to me and took notes of everything done with her. They washed her, cleaned her up, and trimmed her so nicely. My dog had a wonderful experience here and I will definitely continue to bring her here.

Very unprofessional and rude. The gentleman in the front was ok. But the owner rude, said if my puppy would allow them they would round the tips of the nails. They lied my dog didn't even move and they didn't round the nails. Never taking him there again👎

We've tried several groomers in our area of RGV. After service, our dog comes out happy and is happy going back to S2F. Their groomers do a nice job on our dog. Don't think we'll be taking the dog anywhere else.

Very horrible customer service. Haven’t even gone to take my puppy to get her haircut and already having problems. We had made an appointment this past weekend but had to cancel due to bad weather. I tried to make an appointment with them again and they tell me they are refusing my puppy services because we are “confusing.” The manager and the receptionist were very rude to my mom since we first tried to make an appointment.

They have great customer service, and their prices are very affordable. They were able to make room for my dog at the last minute and were attentive to her needs. I don't like to leave my babies anywhere but they really listen to what you want for your pet and try to keep your pet as calm and comfortable as possible. They explain in detail what their services include. My baby Kristela and her brothers and sisters have new groomers here. Would definitely recommend their service

I used to love taking my fur baby there before they closed down. I believe the staff has changed and she no longer came home happy. They did a good job but it feels like it took a few days for her to be herself again and it makes me doubt how she was treated. I also wish they would be a bit more upfront with their pricing. When I went to pick her up I was added a additional fee because apparently she wouldn’t let them cut around her face and legs yet, I was never told that in the past. Sorry but I don’t think I’m going back.

We took our Yorkie in for a grooming and told them he was difficult to groom. They had him for 3 hours, gave him a bath and didn't cut his hair or nails at all, but still charged $32.

This is a great place I have been with them for 9 years and my Sophia is always treated with respect, love and all the staff is very caring. Very happy with there service. Thank you Scruffy to Fluffy it is hard to find a staff that care for your fur friends like one does. Highly recommend

They were so professional, caring and patient with my Pancho! I just got around to leaving a review but I loved their attention to detail and how they were so patient with him. (He tends to get nervous with previous groomer) but when I picked him up he was the same pancho I came in with! Not nervous or scared.Thank you guys so much! Keep up the great work!

Let’s clear up the confusion from my review a few months ago. This place is too expensive for the work they did on my dogs. If it works for you, then great. I will stick to taking my dogs to Petsmart where matting is not charged twice and they don’t reply with BS excuses like this place. To each their own! I like how the “owner” didn’t even apologize for a customer having a bad experience. He or She quickly got defensive. Not the place any customer should be going to.
