They have items marked at one price and when you get to the register, its a different price. The refused to correct it. And charged me 10$ more per bag of dog feed, then marked price. I will not shop there any longer.

I come here often, but less often than i used to. It is great to have the stuff that I need in town, and not have to drive for 20-30 minutes. The big problem I have is the fairly recent change in pricing. The prices posted in the aisles is almost never what rings up at the register. I went in for a small PVC coupler. In the aisle, it said 99 cents, but it rang up $2.39.There are signs that warn customers about this, but buying anything here is a real gamble - how much more than what the sticker says is this going to cost? I have never been in or heard of any other retail store doing this sort of thing.

Typical of an ACE hardware they have about anything you might need. Home and garden, hardware and lumber. Maybe not as many choices as a big box store but certainly anything you're looking for. The difference is the staff. They actually have friendly people to help you find what you need. The real standout is Martha who has gone out of her way more than once to help me.

No matter what price says on items get ready for 5 bucks higher at the register, signs posted saying not enough help to change prices on shelf. But will have 4 employees sitting g behind the register talking save your money drive to lowes

The owner is awesome, and very knowledgeable! He has even loaned me one of his personal tools to perform a one time emergency plumbing fix where he did not anticipate me ever needing such a tool again. Would like to see some of the staff members be a little more up on their product knowledge, but they have very friendly service and reasonably decent selection of product for the size town. Highly recommend them!!

Overall a nice store. However, i would find somewhere else to buy minnows! Ive purchased them here a couple if times and have never recieved the full ammount that i have paid for and the minnows are pretty beat up. Decent size, but not the healthiest. But they do have a large variety of other items and it is a good store overall.

Great hardware store. They have everything you'd need. I like that the parking lot is large enough for a pickup and large farm trailer.

Could I give a negative to a negative 1? This place is the worst and no customer service at all. The price you see may be not the price you will be forced to pay. THEY WILL NOT GRANT THE POSTED PRICE OF ANYTHING. so something that is priced at 10.00 may be 30.00 at the register AND THEY DON'T CARE, they WILL NOT SELL AT ADVERTISED PRICE. I will never go here again and hope no one will.

I am not happy drove from Bowie to this Ace because a man said the store has a 30 stab breaker. They had none. If y'all say you have it Please make sure !

Just went inside and bought the lasko 20" 3733 marked 25.99 at the shelf, went to pay and was charged 28.99. I told the girl working the counter the price was 25.99 and she said well that's not what it rang up as so you have to pay this price. I told her she needed to fix the office on the shelf and she laughed. I will no longer return to this store. I will drive to Muenster or Decatur until Bowie ace is rebuilt. Do not go here they do not go by the sell prices on the shelf.

Care to explain why your store hours say close at 8pm and I arrived at 741 and the door is locked. I did drive 35 minutes trying to beat closing time. Yes this was a Thursday
