The sign coming into town said a great place to buy meats. So we could not resist and made the stop. We were not disappointed. Besides being a regular grocery store, they have a marvelous selection of meats and cheeses. The bonus, very reasonably priced. The man behind the meats counter was super friendly and very helpful. It was a great stop for us. The store was very clean.

Great store with great items. Always go here for casings and seasoning when we make sausage every year. But the rude guy who got my sausage seasonings for me told me “you have no idea what you’re doing”

What a nice little grocery store!! We really enjoyed the German feel of this place, as well as the town. They also have many local products with their store's label on it, giving a German spin on American seasonings, sauces, sausages and more. I hope to return to visit this place and other shops in the town when it is not so hot. Recommendations to anyone who wants to experience small-town Germany without leaving Texas.

Just an absolute treasure of a meat market and grocery store!!! Everything in here with the Fischer label is worth it's weight in gold. These folks have been doing this for a long time and it shows. If you are in the area, you have to stop in and check this place out! You will not regret it!!

We go to Fischer's at LEAST once a year. We have to stock our freezer with German Sausages, pickles, kraut, and assorted cheeses, smoked and unsmoked. Oh yeah, and can't forget the apple and cheese strudel!

We’ve had several animals slaughtered here. This will Probably be the last time for a while. Each time they forgot to put the USDA stamp on that we paid for. They made it right, after having to fight for it. And then they lost one of our boxes of bacon. After we kept saying we don’t have it. They ended up finding it after an Hour waiting in the parking lot with our meat melting.They do a good job as a butcher but they need some serious organization, management changes before I come back. It’s a four hour round trip so I’ll find somewhere else. I hope they get it together.

This shop is very quaint and a fun little spot. The meat and cheese tasted a little….off. Like waxy and not very much like cheese. It just had a strange flavor. But, I’m sure there are better things to try here!

We talked to some locals and they recommend we check out this place for their meat and cheese. All I can say is wow. A true German meat market with an excellent selection of sausages and cheeses. So far I have tried a few of their cheeses and beef jerky and they were great. They still have people to carry out your groceries to your car too.The tower chimes every so often and puts on a little show too.This place is worth the drive.

My wife stops by here for the beef jerky. Its amazing and in abundance. Its made here just like the cheeses are. And their bakery is outstanding also. The chocolate sweet bread is one to try.

We were impressed with the friendly service and clean, well organized store. Having lived in Germany for over six years, we went there hoping to buy some authentic German products. We were very disappointed. Fischer's is German in name and outside design only. Their meager offering of a few pastries and some traditional cuts of meat was completely underwhelming.

Absolutely yummy! Located on 304 NMain St.,in Muenster TX 76252 it has the freshest meat anywhere that is unmatched. With a variety of food from local bakeries that are truly German cuisine. True authentic German food that will inspire you to come back for more. Founded in 1927 by Joe and John Fisher it has continued it’s legendary status. With marvelous cheeses the selection seems endless as well as spices some that are home grown. There are so many to choose from. Endless comes to mind. Their variety of beers are imported from all over the world. They are the place to go for marvelous food. I purchased Liverwurst which I have not been able to find anywhere. I also purchased their home made Spicy Pickled Eggs and Jalapeno Stuffed Olives. Simply delicious.

We have been coming for years to buy the meats and cheeses. Huge selection and not one item has disappointed us. We can't express enough to add this to your stop. Small town America with big taste. We drive about 4 hours now since we moved and it's so worth it to us every time. LOVE this place and the foods.

Great place for German-style food and regular grocery store items. We picked up some strudel, sausage, and other stuff. Well-organized and clean!We got there right before 6 PM and waited for the glockenspiel to play, but it didn't come on. I asked some of the employees and a lady told us to go outside and turned it on for us. It was great to be able to show my family this vintage clock actually working!

Very nice staff and the meat market is awesome. Everything is so fresh and cut just how you ask. We drive 125 miles one way to go here sometimes. Every time we go our friends and family send a list of what they want also. This market has a German feel and look about it. We always get the smoked cheese and summer sausage. Also one of our favorites is the bacon. Once you have their bacon the normal bacon in the store isn't the same. Fischer's bacon stays the same size when it us cooked unlike store bought bacon. Well worth the trip if you ask me. Keep up the good work guys.
