Boarded our baby girl on a Thursday and asked for her to be groomed before picking up on Sunday. Pickup window was from 10-11a or 5-6p. We came in from out of town and picked up at 5. We hadn’t noticed in the dimly lit shop that they’d shaved her down to her skin between her eyes. She winced and yelped in pain when I got close for the picture. (We’d asked for her to be shaved down entirely, but not like this). Before leaving, I asked if they were able to cut her nails, the older lady said they had, but upon inspection at home (the guest area is really tight), her nails were still super long. The lady that charged us went as far as giving herself a tip (charged on card), which normally I wouldn’t mind had they done a good job and not hurt Amelia.

I have a sweet little dog that I rescued. A car opened their door and let her out....then they took off😭....Only God knows what she may have endured because she never barks.....she's a Chihuahua/schnauzer mix( very vocal breeds).... Dapper Dog is very good with her. She's at least 9 years old ( how long I've had her). I will continue taking Sugar to Dapper Dog because she doesn't look stressed when I pick her up. Thank you Dapper Dog!

My second time here the 1st well they cut the nails too short I didn't complain even tho she bled. Yesterday, tho I asked for something simple since I no longer trust them w/ nail clipping. & the 'groomer' (i wouldn't even consider him one, to begin w.) Comes yelling at me like I'm an animal.. i get it you work w animals but, respect the people that pay your bills. In the end of his brake down, he can't give me a price he'd rather hide behind walls to tell the lady upfront the price, while being rude to her as well. I believe in 2nd chances but not a 3rd I was even nice & tipped $20 even tho he messed up her nails mind you the cut was not what I wanted but again, I'm forgiving. Not anymore keep your rude comments and for the love of God groom yourself dude those piercings are for teenagers or drama queens. This place is not for Schnauzers!!

Dapper dog has taken care of all my baby's ❤ They are very caring, professional, kind, courteous & always make my furbaby's look fabulous! The prices can't be beat. I've taken my boy Taz, my girl Candy which they crossed the rainbow 🌈 Now they take care of my rescue Guppy & my little Miniature schnauzer Kya. I wouldn't take my furbaby's anywhere else. Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I love taking our border collie and pitbull here. They do a fantastic job. I applaud this grooming center for being able to handle our pups, they can be a bit much but Dapper Dog knows exactly how to handle them. They always come back looking happy and beautifully groomed from head to toe.

I take my dog about every four to six months. The staff is friendly and the service times are convenient. They do a great job grooming my dog. The cost of service is comparable to other places. I've been very satisfied with the services provided at this business.

It was nice to not need an appointment, but they weren't finished with our dogs until almost an hour and a half after they were supposed to be closed! They did a good job. Put really cute bows on their head. We are from Illinois but we would go back there again if in the area.

The prices are great but the lady never looks happy with her job. She's always in a bad mood and doesn't listen when I tell her how to cut his hair. I had told her just a trim and she shaved him all over and I got so disappointed. My dog always looks scared when he gets out from there so I'm not taking him there again. They also charged me extra because they supposably said that my dog was moving too much but they shouldn't charge extra for that. I don't recommend this place.

Just moved to the RGV, and was looking for a groomer. The location didn't look very nice from the outside but it had some good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. They did a great job with my cocker spaniel! And the prices are great as well. Will definitely be going back.

We have taken our Scottie there for several years. Not the best groomers in the world but we don't have a show dog and she was groomed quite well.Our problem was the last time we brought our dog... Nothing was said about price changes or up charges for weight or tangles. We were charged more than double what we had previously been charged and I don't think our girl look as good as she had from past groomings.We will not be bringing our dog back. This is no way to treat good customers and expect your business to thrive.P.S. During this time with the virus I would expect folks to at least wear a mask but not when I was there...

Great dog grooming business for the Mission area! They have always given me and my poodle mix the best of service with very affordable pricing. The staff has been friendly and they treat my dog with care, which is very important to any pet parent. Highly recommend!!!!

I took my puppy to get groomed in January and I must say....what a transformation. Luna, my little one, went in with long black hair and came out looking like a really classy and beautiful miniature poodle. Her red bows were the cutest thing ever. Those bows never came off. I will be taking Luna back this Friday to get her all prettied up.

This place was fantastic. The young man who took on the task of nails on my 11 month old dachshund was amazing. She had been hurt before at another place so she as scared and nervous. She was very well taken care of. This is where she will go for all her doggie needs from now on.

Bad communication very rude, not inform about appointments I got there early @8 I ask then how long will it take for the grooming they said two to three hrs they end up taking more than 5 hours for a small Maltese 5 pounds and they charge me extra supposedly cause they had to jump an appointment to groomed him. But when I called ahead of time to schedule him for an appointment they said they weren’t taking appointments only by walking ins. I get there To pick him up he’s not groomed properly at all. I will never take my baby there.

Poor service; I took a puppy in for his first grooming and asked for ideas about what would look nice on this dog. The person just said "We'll do whatever you want." I asked again for suggestions (they are supposed to be the experts, not me). They just said whatever you want. I said "If you don't have any ideas about what you can do to make the puppy look less scruffy, then I won't leave him." The guy just shrugged his shoulders and started doing something else. They just lost a potentially very good customer!

Very good with the dogs. Fees are reasonable. Parking is handicapped in a strip mall. Hours are limited for certain services so call and check ahead. They also board the dogs at a reasonable cost. You provide your dog food for the length of his stay.

They are very good with the dogs. Very reasonably priced. They do boarding. Clean and staff are pleasant. Handicapped parking it is in a strip mall. Call ahead to make sure they can accommodate you for flea dipping etc. They open early.
