Friendly, semi knowledgeable, and fair. We own a small farm and this is our local place. Most times the staff has the info or finds it. You ALWAYS run into that 1 employee that doesn’t know and walks away instead of asking another. Store is always stocked, and the chicken/duck younglings are consistently there for us.

2nd time trying to fill propane tanks and no one ever comes out to help us. Clerk says she'll send some one right out. A girl out there helping someone load wood posts said she'd send someone out to help us. 20 minutes later, my son goes back in and a man walks with him saying ill be right out and then he walks the opposite way. Never see him. So frustrating. Never going back

Pathetic! What a waste of time and gas. After trying to make my own purchase selection, I walked to the front to ask for help in the area I was in. The lady called for someone to meet me, never to be seen. After waiting 10 or so minutes and watching employees doing whatever in the employee’s only area in the back, I left… And I won’t be back. Mind you, there were only two other customer in the store at the time.

I have done business with the store since they open 6 years ago. I spend over $3,000 a year . This is the first time I have a problem with merchandise purchased. I call store to verify what they could do. I told her I had purchased a heater November the 27th. I'd only use it for a few days during the cold spell I was told no problem. Bring it back. They'll refund it. I said no. I'd like to get it replaced. They said no problem when I once reach the store I was told they could not do anything for me after my experience today I will no longer be doing business I would not recommend anyone to do business with this company

These folks have NO IDEA how to open up additional check out cashier lanes when they are busy. Last weekend, the line was 2/3’s to the back of the store. No calls to open another lane. They are COMPLETELY clueless here…..

I debated whether or not I should pile on to the other reviews just how horrible the service is. The generic “we appreciate your feedback” replies to all the other reviews made me think they don’t care about me at the store, and they don’t care about me at corporate either. But I did decide to post this, just to say save yourself a visit here and good to Atwood’s. It’s well worth the drive, they have every thing you need in stock, they don’t complain if you ask them for help, and even my daughter noticed how much nicer they were. I’m not affiliated with Atwood’s, just a regular guy who was running out of feed for his meat birds and didn’t need the worker telling me how lucky I was he didn’t have to dig at the bottom of a pallet for my bag of feed.

I come here for the prices and the convenience, but customer service is seriously lacking. I bought some stale dog food from here (I've been buying this brand for years and know the texture and smell well) and when I called them to ask if I could exchange it for a different bag they acted like that was a wild request and told me that dog food is dry. I explained that I'm well aware of the texture of dog food, but this was different. They ended up saying they would exchange it, but the interaction I had was seriously lacking in customer service.

The classic example of customer service/clerks/cashiers/managers who believe helping customers interferes with "their job." I was stared at dumbly when I asked where a product might be then a chorus of "I dunno". After searching nearly every aisle I located a product similar to what I needed. So I walked back to the 3 20-somethings in front to help me unlock the product. "Only the manager has the keys." Fine, send him back. About 3 minutes later I heard a man yelling "where? where? I don't see anyone! There's no one back here!" To which I responded, "I am right here." I told him I needed a product unlocked so I could buy it. He looked at the contraption and said, "I don't know how to unlock that. I can't unlock that." At that time, one of the "merry 3" from the front, a young man came walking by and the manager stopped him and asked if he could unlock the products. He replied he could "get the key." Seriously? 5 minutes ago you were unable to speak other than "the manager has the keys." So the kid walks away, the manager walks away and I am just standing there with my jaw on the floor at the unprofessional attitudes. I stood there another full 5 minutes until I saw the young man walking by - on his way to lunch. I yelled out to him - did you get the key? And he replied, "someone will," and kept walking out the door. I was done. As I stormed out to my car the manager interrupted his coffee break in the parking lot long enough to ask if I got what I wanted. I said "NO. No one ever came back to unlock the display. No one ever cared enough to help me buy the products you are in business to sell." He just stood there staring as I drove off. They lost a customer for life.

Mower belts are a huge mess. Took 15 minutes of sorting and searching to finally find what I needed. The sorting was me putting the belts in the correct slots. This is why I do almost all my shopping on-line.

First the good news. They hey are very nice there. Store is always clean and neat for sure. I'm giving this location 3 stars because no one there has any knowledge about their products, has any solutions to offer, knows what they sell or even if they carry it. Total hide and seek when you go shopping there. If you find what you're looking for, it's totally by luck or chance. Other than that, I love the place. However, since I had no help and no one knew anything, I spent an hour night before last trying to find everything which turned out to be all wrong. But I tried.. As a result, it all went back today unfortunately and Ace Hardware got me all taken care of.

Would love to give them a higher rating but they have an inability to order adequate quantities of Purina horse feed consistently. The reasoning I have been informed of is that their corporate offices do the ordering taking the store manager out of the picture. Doesn't seem very efficient. Midlothian TX store is where I try to shop.

The male manager is always so kind and knowledgeable I truly love this store because the staff is nice and helpful. My corgi was having problems with allergies and he took tome to explain to me cause his dog had the same problem and I appreciate his kindness and caring heart. He always goes above and beyond. My favorite tractor supply.

This was my 2nd attempt at getting cattle panels and this time I paid online and did curbside. I also went to a different location and it took me no more than 15 min get everything. It was quick and easy. Much better experience than what I had in Waxahachie, TX where I was told the panels were all sold but if I went on their website I could get them online that same day. Either they didn't want to sell them to me or they are not updating their inventory properly.

I had a great experience at this location, Xenon is amazing!! His customer service goes above and beyond to make customers happy, he saved me a trip to Home Depot by price matching and offered me a trailer which I did not know they offered to take home a gate I planned to throw on the roof of my Suburban, great guy and customer service is exceptional, thanks Xenon

The manager that's been at this store for several years is excellent !! After receiving an online text saying my fencing was ready for pickup. I headed to the Midlothian Texas location and waited for my order. Come to find out corporate sends those text even when the order is being shipped to your pickup location. He made every effort to make it up to us for the misunderstanding. We finally chose the closest type of fencing, although the price was higher. He so kindly made up for the price difference. This is not the first time that he has gone above and beyond his duties as the store manager. He exemplified through the years I've been dealing with this store what all store managers should do as far as customer service. I know, I manage a retail business too. He did not have to do what he did. I was not upset. But now he just made me a Midlothian Tractor Supply customer that will spread the word around to all my friends and neighbors.

Today was the third time I have been for propane, the first time was wonderful. 2 weeks ago I had to call inside the store 4 times waiting over 30 minutes before anyone came out. Today I went inside twice and called after 25 min and was told that it was leaking. I talked to the manager and asked him to put a sign up so people don't have to wait so long. Unfortunately today wasn't isolated, not sure I'll ever go back for propane.

I’ve lived in Colorado where snow and ice is normal and every Tractor Supply there are more then willing to get out in the cold and refill people’s propane tanks. This Tractor Supply here is by far one of the laziest stores I’ve ever shopped at. Over the past 4 months I’ve probably called 6 or 7 times to see if they have propane and either a valve is broken or they just ran out is the excuse. Sure enough today was no different. The staff at this store should all be fired and replaced with people who will actually work.

Ordered a curbside pickup order, only to arrive and be told they did not have the item. I asked the store member if they had a similar item instead and was told they did. I was told I had to order the different item online, which I did. I waited over 30 minutes in my car and still had not received any notification or the new item. I called the store, and was told that they also did not have the new item in stock, but had another similar item that I would have to go online and order AGAIN. At this point I gave up. I still have not received my email notification that they cancelled the 2nd order. All the items I ordered showed up in stock and available for curbside pickup on the website. Due to physical impairment, I am unable to go into the store to see items myself and depend on website and staff accuracy. This was a mess.

We enjoy Tractor Supply even when they do not have what we were looking to purchase. This particular store is neat, clean, not cluttered; it is organized, well-stocked, and ready for Spring. The employees are courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back soon to get more gardening supplies.

Went in to get a battery for my tractor, asked if they had it in stock. They said, oh I don't know, all our batteries are on the back wall. So I go and check and they had a tag for it but nothing in stock, so I go back to the front and ask if they can order it. They reply: well you can order it online. Ummm...ok.... Walked out and found another store that had my battery and much better service, at a cheaper price.

I would have given 5 stars but the young blonde manager is terrible. We have never had so much trouble at a Tractor Supply. The cashier and older gentleman were amazing they helped with the situation.The young blonde manager ignored us, has no common courtesy!

I shop here a lot cause it's close to my job in cedar hill but the hay is not good quality, they mentioned it was better few months ago but my horses don't like it ..so I'm having spend more money on bales at other feed stores.

This store has recently gotten better about having plenty of the horse feed in stock, especially the Purina Senior Equine, which seems to be a bestseller. The store is usually pretty clean and the quality of the products is good. The only thing I don't get here is coastal hay because it's not very good quality.

0 stars wasn't an option.I dont shop there, however, I do live across the street from the store. The alarm goes of at least 4 nights a week, and will sound for hours, sometimes. All hours of the night and early morning there is this high-pitched siren screaming, unchecked. Yall must do something about it. It is 1:39 am and the alarm is screaming, right now, and has been for about 45 minutes, so far. It's awful!
