We had to have our baby girl put to sleep today. The staff was kind and generous in giving us as much time as we needed to say goodbye both before and after. They were compassionate and respectful. Thank you for making an emotional, painful day less traumatic. Highly recommend.

I was very excited to have my dog groomed here. I called and setup an appointment for a ‘Bath & Brush with FURminator’. I explained to the gentleman that it was her first time and he kindly took her in. I was told it would take 2-3 hours. I checked in on her after an hour and was told that she was well. I asked how she had done with the nail trimming and anal gland expression. He mentioned that I needed to request the anal gland expression for it to be done. I explained that the website stated that the package came with the anal gland expression. He said that they could try but that they only do 2 external pushes and if anything was expelled and happened to get on her, she would be stinky because she had already been bathed. I wish he would have told me this when I dropped her off in the beginning. This would have prevented me paying for her bath and then just taking her home stinky and having to bathe her a second time at home. Please inform your customers next time, especially if they mention that it’s their first time at the grooming center. I really wanted to make this part of our regular routine with our dog, but we will not be returning. 😔PetSmart Website says:This service includes a premium bath that features a premium low-shed shampoo, FURminator de-shedding solution, full blow dry, with up to 20 minutes of brushing with the FURminator & undercoat tools as well as nail trim, ear cleaning, ANAL GLAND EXPRESSION, paw pad trim to neaten the feet & sanitary trim.

Grooming at Petsmart is 1000% worse than Petco and we swore we'd never go back there...how could someone groom worse than Petco?!!!! PetSmart is awful! Never going back! The groomers are simply incapable of quality...our poor dog was "cut" in at least 5 places if not 6....horrible grooming...just awful.

I've always had pleasant experiences at this location. They have a larger selection of everything compared to the PetSmart in South McAllen. I enjoy shopping at this PetSmart,but use the veterinary services at the Sout McAllen location.

I picked up my dog after grooming there and he was wincing the whole time. I thought he was just being weird and perhaps was hungry. Came home, gave him food, he wasn’t interested. He just lay on the floor wincing. I couldn’t understand what was wrong with him. He then turned and I noticed the bloody inner thigh. They hurt my poor little dog. And they cut his nails so short he’s bleeding and it is raw. Victor was the groomer for my dog. Do not take your pets there. See the pictures. It’s horrible. Breaks my heart that they hurt my puppy and I paid them to do it! Victor at petsmart on Trenton hurt my dog. Take your dogs somewhere elese for grooming.

Went in to get my dog the bath grooming services. Didnt trim the nails, and they offered a discount because of that, but still ended up paying full price. Upon leaving the store I noticed on my dogs neck was a giant abscess or boil of sorts that was not there when he was dropped off. What the hell?

Dog food is always stocked which is nice but other items for smaller critters are very hit and miss.Curbside is beyond a waste of time. You check in, wait 20 minutes, have to go inside and ask for your items at which point they then go find them. Minor inconvenience but just don't offer the curbside if it's not an actual thing.

Went by today to buy crickets for my daughter's Leopard Gecko. The staff is always very helpful and polite. Enjoy walking around and looking at the variety of animals they offer for sale Pleased with the service. Overall, always a great experience.

I have read and seen so many sad stories about owners having a bad experience from going to a groomer... never in my life did I think it would happen to me. My $20 puppy bath turned into a & $280 emergency vet appointment! And to think from PetSmart. The one place I thought my puppy would be safe turned out to be the place he was in danger. Yet they tried to say it was just from “stress”... then why is his eye pressure so high that the vet says can only be caused from a blow/hit to the eye? Its messed up for someone to do such a thing to an animal who has no fault. I do not recommend petsmart groomers at allIf I could give no stars I would

Today I bought Blue's True Solutions Fit & Healthy cat food today, and to my disappointment, I came home to find out the food was expired since 2 weeks ago (Exp: 2021 April 13). Please be careful when buying food products here and always check the expiration dates on all products before buying. Will never make this mistake again :( .

If I could leave a zero star review I would . Do not buy parakeets from here I have bought two and they have passed away on me when I bought them I took them to the vet and they had illnesses and died shortly after. When going to the store to let them know they absolutely didn’t care . I was able to return the second one because the vet instructed me to return him before he passed away so they could see it was sick . When going to the store they all ignored my concerns like it was routine . I tried speaking to Alyssa and she ignored us standing there with the sick bird while the cashier was telling her on the intercom we needed help. She was accusing me and that my other healthy parakeet had killed that bird when my other parakeet loved his friend and is not violent mind you he is tamed. Alyssa does not care about these animals and rolled her eyes at me . She should definitely not be working at this establishment if she shows no compassion or empathy for my slowly dying bird . buy your parakeets somewhere else if you don’t want them to come sick and die in two days.

Took my senior furry friends to try out their groomers. They were pretty nervous since it was a new place but Bryce and the staff were very welcoming. They were very helpful with the check in process and service time. The store could use some sprucing up though. Saw a lot of dust on products and there was a big loud fan in the foyer area of the salon which caused anxiety for my smaller dog but overall I would bring them back because of how courteous the store staff was and how good my babies looked. 🐕

Had great help was told to go home and prepare the fish tank 24hrs before we put fish cause they only last 1hr in the bag they come with. Can't remember his name but the pets mart guy helped me from having a catastrophe tomorrow we buy the fish!!!! Tonight we prepare there home!!!! Thanks PETS MART GUY !!!!!!!!

Tried getting my dog a shirt that said was on clearance. It was the only medium shirt and for some reason it was scanning regular price. The large and small shirts of the same kind were all marked down, yet the little girl cashier couldn't use her head and called the manager. The greedy corporate manager went ahead and said, "no, this one isn't marked down only the other sizes." Which makes no sense because they're all in the same style and in clearance rack. Never again, this proves they only care about money and not the customer.

A couple of the people in the Grooming Dept are unprofessional and can be heard gossiping about other coworkers and clients. One of the ladies has been there for many years....not sure how, with that attitude. Unfortunate, since this is a great location, but I would much rather drive further to get better customer service.
