I moved to Marble Falls about 2.5 years ago. I have been building freshwater aquariums for more than 45 years. I currently have 3 large aquariums in my home. I found Cherokee about a year after I arrived here. I will say that Cherokee is a small store, but it is packed with high quality fish and as an added bonus we have access to Eric, the owner. He is extremely knowledgeable, he can help you with any fresh and saltwater needs. Be sure to stop by. You will not be disappointed.

This place is great and always has been, I go here usually once every 2 weeks for fish food, fish, plants, etc. The knowledge that is presented by Eric is impressive and I’ve literally learned a lot by him. Unlike small chains around, he has a wide variety of freshwater fish that are very good quality; this is why I only go to him to get actual fish. Although I do wish that he would have more varieties of hardscape like rocks and larger driftwood pieces. Another great thing that he does is special orders, if you need a specific fish or even a plant he will make a special order for it! It’s amazing! The store is great for experienced aquarists and beginners alike. Support your local fish shop!

Hoping for a bot more variety bit the better are so beautiful.when I go back I will look better at variety. I do remember clownfish and starfish. Those were cute. Prices Abita on high side but maybe there's a great guarantee behind it.

Well I have bought fish from this store a few times and all my fish are doing great. I had tried to do a Guppy farm for awhile and I was getting my fish from other stores and it didn’t work out most of them would die pretty soon after adding the fish and after doing tests on my water I found out it wasn’t my water. The fish I was getting weren’t in the best care when I bought them(meaning dirty water, toxins in the water that they were in before I got them….etc) so I started going here for fish and every fish I’ve gotten from here has been doing amazing. I finally got my Guppy farm going I had bought a endler male Guppy and two female Fancy guppies. About a week and a half ago I went to wake the fish up and when I turned on the light I finally got some baby guppies most of them look like there mother with only 2 that look like the father. Which made me very excited to have my first set of baby guppies.Thank you guys for having the better quality fish and resources for these fish I’m very excited to finally have started my Guppy farm.

I have to say that this aquarium features beautiful fish in a wide variety every time I go there I feel like a child in a candy store looking at all their supplies and such and the fish guy offers a lot of information for the stuff you choose to keep so like if you want a understanding of pros and cons he is a good choice to get a very good understanding of the stuff in there also his center piece aquarium is must see.

The older woman that works as the groomer had lots of experience with birds. Very knowledgeable how to raise them from eggs. She is the only person I trust to clip my birds wing feathers and nails.

Drive here from Killeen anytime I need anything saltwater aquarium related the owner is very knowledgeable about everything salt water related and will not try to sell you the most expensive thing in the store just to make a prophet he will make sure you understand everything he explained it is definitely worth the hour drive and I will not go anywhere other than here
