If you want a really good home cooked breakfast be at cherries around 6:00 in the morning! For sure Monday through Fridays I'm not sure about the weekends though. Don't wait too late cuz they run out of gravy all the time! Give him a try tell him Stephanie Jones sent you! Oh they have hot Deli lunch plates too! Different home cooked food everyday!

The few times we come home every year we love stopping for breakfast. Each time we come for a visit it seems that the dining area and tables are not kept anymore. You can see signs of this because the window edges along the tables are built up with dust, webs, and dead insects.The servers working the line are awesome and move fast and willingly. Workers in the back can be heard chatting it up and when asked to help out a bit came complaining by slamming down gloves, utensils, food, and machinery.This visit was disheartening because Cherry’s (however silly it may seem) has always been a stop before heading back. Now I wonder if it will continue to be that way.It makes me wonder…Has the owner stopped caring? Have the workers become complacent?What are your thoughts?

Missing the ladys in the deli but food is not as good

Love eating breakfast here when I get a chance. The ladies that work in the deli have been there for a long time and they have always done a great job taking care of their customers. My favorite is the fried egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich and a hash brown on the side. They also have a great lunch buffet that is always cooked home style with great flavor. Cherry's is a hidden jewel in Lufkin when it comes to their deli.

The lunch buffet is always superb, the ladies that work there are nice as they can be. But you have to get there early they start lunch at 10:30 use a running out by 12:30 oh, the food is that good!

There is always great breakfast and friendly staff. The snacks and drinks are at a fair price and at a great variety. The restrooms are new and well kept.

It’s disappointing that this particular store RARELY has sales on their 20oz drinks and the fountain drink machine is trash and has been since it was installed.

Still like a country store where everybody knows everyone! Prices a little high!! But, can meet all ur needs gas, fresh meals, some fresh groceries w/in store, & u can even wash & dry ur clothes if u need to!
