My 2 dogs had easily over 500 porcupine quills stuck in their faces, noses, ears, necks, mouths and tongues. To make matters worse this happened on a Sunday. The vet and his tech came in to help us out. I was thinking I was going to have to go to an Austin emergency vet clinic drive 1 1/2 hours minimum, and probably pay around $1k. However, just before we were about to give up and go to Austin the vet called us back, and he charged us a very fair price. I'm didn't get the vets name, but if I could give him 100 ★s I would.

I just want to say thank you to Llano Vet for helping me with my dog towards the end of his 10 year life. If I had moved down here when he was a puppy, I would’ve used them for the entire 10 years! I’m glad they were there for him we needed them most.

Very unprofessional. Had to take my dog in for an emergency treatment and when we told them we were unable to pay the full price at the moment, the lady at the front counter bad mouthed us to her coworker in front of us! Do not go there if you're in a financial situation or don't want to get made fun of.

Needed a vet nearby just to clip the dog's nails as well as in need of a rabies shot. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly and also able to squeeze in a nail clip for my second dog.My dogs are usually very protective of their little feet, not liking anyone to touch them, thus we have to take them to the vet for this. I was happy to find that they were very comfortable with this vet's office and nails were clipped nicely and they didn't put up a fuss.Pricing was very fair.I definitely recommend this vet's office.

Dr. Kassell was very knowledgeable and had a caring approach with my dogs. After having some negative experiences with the Highland Lakes vet, I wanted to find a vet that reminded me more of the vets I grew up with, raising horses. You know... honesty, integrity and affordability, the things that were lacking at our previous veterinarian. Thank you for the great advice, conversation and getting us taken care of! Its been a couple months ago when my dog was violently attacked by 4 pit bulls. We thought she was not going to make it. She is alive and well thanks to all the staff at The Llano Veterinarian Clinic. They are the reason Willow is still digging hiles. I made an appt to get my French Bulldog neutered. The next day his tummy was swollen and he was vomiting and the vet said to go somewhere else?! Also, when I picked up my dog we were given no instructions of bringing him back. When I took him to an er vet in Austin, they removed 2 STITCHES... very disappointed in how this turned out. My poor baby ended up very sick and in a lot of discomfort.
