Unique inventory of exotic mammals, reptiles, fish. Only complaint was that it was a small space with a lot of people inside, somewhat hard to walk around. Not super clean inside. It was worth it to go though, even if just to see the unique animals. I think it's weird that a place like this exists. Attached are some pictures that I took during my time there.Edit :: I am not able to reply to a reply, but the owner replied to this asking why I thought the store was unclean. Simply, I thought were miscellaneous pieces of things around and on the floor. Bits of fuzz, food, paper, etc.This was amplified by how many people and animals were in the somewhat small space.

To any one who reads this it is all facts each and every time I go to get feeders they are all very nice and helping no matter what. My son ball python had stopped eating and what they said to do worked so I highly recommend going to them . Very glad I looked them up and went to them. Sincerely happy customer 😊😊😁😁

I love this place! I work right next-door and this is a small business own great spot to go to for all your needs! They have awesome snakes, and cats. Dale the owner is a really nice guy and you can tell every single staff member knows a lot about Wildlife and animals

One of the worst reptile shops I’ve visited in awhile. Upon walking in store was in a dirty dysfunctional state. Pretty much every animal in this store looked sick or malnourished. All of the cages looked filthy, either too dry or too damp for the species being kept within them. The dragons looked awful and the leopard gecko set ups were deplorable, improper lighting and substrate choices for said species along with multiple animals being crammed in cages too small for even one. They also were housing snakes in “long term” enclosures made up of DELI CUPS? For species such as Honduran milk snakes which need more than a deli cup filled with over damp coco coir which will cause scale rot and RI. The feeders looked disgusting and neglected. (Which is crazy, how can you neglect something so easy to keep alive?) the prices were outrageous. Definitely will never return and warn others to not purchase animals from this business if you want to have a good experience with reptile keeping. Stay far away. Didn’t even want to purchase cork here because the store seemed mite infested from the looks of their sickly animals. If I could give my review no stars I would.

Do not ask any questions here about anything especially tarantulas. The lady there said the wrong information to me and even said my research was wrong. And my sling ended up dying.

I can't say I love this place enough! Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. I honestly don't think our beardie would have made if it wasn't for them! They've been with us since a couple weeks after we got him and had no idea what to do. I come all the way here from Pearland because they're the only place I trust! Our Talon is a happy, healthy, 3 years old now

Nice small pet store, some cool reptiles, a few different types of tarantulas (tiny slings), fish & i think some small mammals....they also usually have little kittens as well. Nice selection of live feeders for reptiles. What I'm normally going & purchasing there is the cork bark, ya know for like reptile,amphibian or tarantula / scorpion habitats / enclosures....they usually always have a large selection of it. Decent Priced too. Oh yeah & the staff is friendly & helpful as well...

I'm a reptile noob and the ladies here were very nice and helpful, helped me pick out a bigger tank for my crested gecko. I've experienced condescending attitudes from other places in the area, so I appreciate them. Thanks!

Like the fact they have live feeders for my snake and prices weren't too bad for them. The reptiles and arachnids are priced a bit high for me but you can get pretty much what you are looking for. They have everything from kittens to lizards and gerbils to feeder roaches. Staff is helpful and friendly, and they offer a point reward for every dollar spent.

If you have a reptile this is the place to go to for pets, food and supplies. Live food for snakes and bearded dragons. Staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Seen used tanks for purchase. Don't forget to pet the kitty that's usually roaming around. Lol.

Great little shop with interesting pets. They have snakes, a great selection of lizards and some ferrets that they let people hold and enjoy. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

So I placed an order from this pet store for a ghost mantis for around $42.00. After about two weeks of having placed my order and having paid for two day shipping to ensure my mantis arrived alive, I decided to call the place to ask where my order was. The lady over the phone was very polite and nice, but told me the manager was not in on the day I called, and took my number down and told me to call back the following day. I called back, straight to voice mail and left a voice message with my name and number. Another week and I still haven’t heard back. I don’t like giving establishments low reviews as I know a lot of them really do try to please the customers. But I still haven’t received my mantis or a call back and as a result have lost $50 down the drain without a refund. I can change my review, but until I either receive my mantis or a full refund, the one star will remain.EDIT: Received my Mantis.

I took my kids to Rainforest Pets this past weekend to learn about the different reptiles available. The store was nice and the animals were well cared for and looked healthy. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Taylor took my children and I to each reptile and showed us what was available and gave us all of the information we needed about each one with regard to the care/habitat that they needed and answered all of our questions. She even set up the entire aquarium for new leopard gecko and carried it out to our car. We will definitely continue to shop here for our pet's needs. Very pleased with the whole experience and happy with out choice of store and purchase. :)

Everyone here is super friendly! I make the drive out here for my feeder crickets every other weekend. Recently purchased a baby axoltl and the staff was very knowledgeable even told me to call them if I had any additional questions.

Got my male banana super pastel a couple days ago and this is the first exotic pet store where I’ve been able to handle the animal I’d like to purchase first before purchasing & I’ve been at where I see the animals actually well taken care of , they were super friendly & had great customer service ! Rainforest Pets is the absolute best. We drive 30 minutes to go there because they know their stuff and will take all the time you need to help you with whatever questions you might have. Dale is an amazing owner and a wonderful resource for all things dealing with fish (and I'm sure other pets, we just have fish and a turtle). He helped us cycle our fish tank, built us a filter and showed us how it worked and how to troubleshoot it, talked to us about what fish would be good with a turtle and what fish might not make it, and so much more. He truly cares about his customers and his employees and it really shows in how you are treated when you walk in the door. If I could give 100 stars I would.

I was originally looking for a Western Hognose snake. The nice employee showed me this beauty instead. I didn't know much about Rosy Boas so I went home and did some research. I went back a second time to hold her again and she was just as sweet as the first time.Reptiles are a huge commitment. My girl is a baby and I will be her caretaker for 20+ years. I hope anyone purchasing does the proper research. It was easy to find what she needed and I purchased most of it from Amazon. I am glad I did my research because I didn't realize that the heaters do not have a thermostat. Pictures of burned snakes was enough to convince me that it is worth spending an extra $20. I also got a temperature gun, it was inexpensive and gives me piece of mind that my girl has the proper temps.I will definitely recommend this shop in the future. The animals look to be in excellent health, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly, and it's very clean. I'm so happy with my new baby snake. I will purchase again. 😊

Super helpful and we ended up adopting 2 guinea pigs because we were able to interact with them and talk to the lady about them. They were also very informative. Highly recommend to anyone.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place because we were looking for a pet store that sold live rats for snakes, and this store did just that. Not only did they have live rats they have multiple sizes and two different kinds and they have not only rats but a whole bunch of different animals and feeding animals .Another thing I love about this shop is that the employees are so nice to their customers. They are family oriented and they are super educated about all of their animals and feed. I wish I had pictures. But this place is most definitely a 10 out of 10 would recommend.

One of the best reptile stores in the area with a good supply of reptile housing needs and feeder rodents and bugsI visit this store one every week or two topick up freezers for my snakes and bugs for my lizards. This store always has a diverse selection of lizards and snakes that rotates out regularly. they often time stock unusually specials of lizards or frogs that are fun to see. The animals are usually displayed in nice looking terrariums. They build custom bioactive terrariums that look really nice really and are reasonably priced. If you have tried to build one you know they take a lot of supplies.They also regularly have birds, rabbits, Ginny pigs, sugar gliders, a decent fish selection and axolotl. The friendly cats that Rome the store are a nice bonus.

I have been going to this place for years...The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and their prices are reasonable compared to the big chains on a lot of their products. They also carry a large variety of feeder insects and live feeder rodents... DEFINITELY recommend visiting this place even if just to look at the large variety of animals they sell!!
