It was my first time here to shop. I discovered the brand Sherpa Deluxe Pet Carrier and came away with one small pet carrier for about $70. The price is a little steep here, for being a Chinese made product. The reason I most liked it most was the quality in Sherpa’s zipper top, which is important if you don't want a panicked cat to push its way out at the wrong timing. Four stars.

I visited the Pet Supermarket today and was slightly disappointed by the lack of customer service. Despite there being three employees and not more than 4 customers in the store, it took 10 minutes for someone to offer assistance. I even had to initiate a conversation with an employee i was standing 3 feet away from in order to get help the first time. Keep in mind, they greeted the customers who came after me. I have managed a number of operations from bakeries to homeless shelters, so I just notice these things.On the positive side, the store had a fantastic selection of high quality pet food, and as a pet owner, that's what really matters to me. While I don't mind if people greet me or not, I believe that good customer service is important. Therefore, I'm deducting one star for the lack of greeting and customer service. Nonetheless, the exceptional selection of food is what keeps me coming back.

Not very happy about this place, no personal greeting, just a hello from the back aisles, and when I went to wash my puppy they said no he's got a couple fleas so you can't wash your dog here until the flea's are completely gone. Isn't that the point of going to get your dog washed. These people will never get a dime of my money. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard - can't wash your dog if he's got fleas- these people must be stupid to think that every dog coming in there is flea free.

Persons named Avery and Allana were not very helpful or professional they seem to take it personal instead of just simply being courteous about the feeder insects and they don’t seem to like dealing with them sorry for the miscommunication over pricing as well

Came to buy live plants for my tanks. The lady that helped us was great! Only reason for the 4 stars is because tanks could be better. Some dead fish and others looked a little rough as well. Otherwise great store.

I love this store! It's difficult to find reptile supplies and I always find exactly what I need here. The employees are super friendly and the prices aren't too bad.I always buy a toy for my cats when I'm here. They have some really cute toys for a couple of bucks.I definitely recommend this shop, I drive all the way from Alvin because it's the best pet store in the area. Much better than Petsmart or Petco.

Friendly staff with a variety of products for all kinds of pets. While we don't have a dog, their self-service dog wash is a super cool idea. The store was clean, and we loved looking at the kitties that were there for adoption. We will be back, especially when we need an outing for our kitties.

Good inventory, but the prices are outrageous! The pet bathing stations were a good solution-and they were reasonable though. Alyssa the guest representative/cashier was a huge help. She went out of her way to provide information. The only reason I might shop here is Alyssa (Elyssa) who is very customer service oriented.

We bought our new addition to our family here! Deadpool. Very happy and healthy bunny. Only thing I didn't like is they didn't know the sex of the bunnies there. Came home and looked myself so not a big deal. This place is awesome for all your pets needs other wise 😊

Our go-to store for our pet food. The employees that work here now are great! I wouldn't have said that before. The manager that's there now is super helpful & friendly.

My whole family loves this place. We've purchased so many items for all of our animals from this location. This is also where we picked our hamster from. We get feeder fish from here twice a month. Also, my daughter bathes our dog here every other week. We can't imagine going anywhere else for our pets. Every single employee here will assist you with any of your pets needs. If they don't supply it, they can recommend where to get it. I honestly feel as if they are always looking out for the animals and the owner. I strongly recommend this store.

I came to grab a few things and rarely shop in store for my pets. When I went to the register to pay, the lady at the register was really pushy about things. She asked me first if I saw the treats and I said no I didn't need any because I had a ton at home. As if she ignored what I just said she then pointed out all the treats at the register and told me they were all on sale. I said ok. Then she asked me to put my number in to look up my account, so I did (I hadn't been to pet supermarket in ages so I didn't recall if i had signed up before). The account lookup didn't work and she said "oh you don't have an account with us?" sounding surprised. I said no, and that id rather not have one because I don't shop here often. She said Okay. Then she proceeded to say in a sort of tone "you know what it gets you right?" and I said it didn't really matter as i wasn't interested in it. She then ignored what I said and told me " it gets you 5$ back every 100$." I said nothing in response. She than rang me up and the total came out a little over $100. She then said again " see, you could have saved $100".I don't know why she was so annoyingly pushy about the account or what her deal was, but I did not appreciate her pushing me on things I clearly said I did not want or need. Definitely will not be coming back to be annoyed by her again.I will say though there was another female employee who was extremely helpful, wish I got her name but I think she had multi colored hair and she was really sweet and helped me in store and also to bring the heavy dog food bag to my car. She should be the one handling customer facing interactions.

Great service! I walked in and was immediately helped. The store was in great condition and the animals were taken care of. I enjoyed hearing about all of their services such as their self service dog wash and VIP program. I went in to buy some crickets and they offer small and large. They charge them by the dozen. Not too pricey at all. Seems about average. Yes, I would definitely come back!

Clowie was our fish rep and she was great. I went in there in panic mode to replace my kids fish. She helped me right away, as this was my first visit to the store. Very knowledgeable and nice. Great prices, clean store. Because of her this is our pet store now. She deserves a raise!!

My 8 week old puppy had an accident in the store. I was completely willing to clean it up if they provided the supplies. The manager kicked me out and I am no longer welcome to come back. I’m at loss for words.

Employees are always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They have a great selection and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. When I first went in I expected another overpriced pet store, but they have a huge selection and great prices. I didn't believe them when they told me if my dog didn't go for their house brand I could bring in whatever was left for a refund, but sure enough, they made good on their word. While my dog didn't care for the house brand, they earned a repeat customer; they have a variety of other brands and I will continue to do business with them based on their superior customer service.

I really like the convenience of this store because it is near by. The have great selection of supplies for my medium sized dog. There is only one person I like so far and I almost want to wait until he is there because he is the only person speaks when I walk in and he also is the only person who offers assistance. I wish I remembered his name... he's an African-American gentleman. He's been the only one I've seen so far. But he is the most helpful! If I go in there again he's not there and I don't get assistance, I'm going to start to think it's because...nevermind. Will review next time!

Around 6 pm I went in the store to get food for my dog and cat. My parents were out at work and I couldn’t leave my siblings home alone so I took them with me. A lady that worked there was being rude and kicked us out because we needed a parent with us. Even when I let her know that I was 19 years old with a license. I’m never come back here again and taking my business somewhere else.

Well organized with decent selection of pet supplies. They had budgies (parakeets) that looked healthy and not as hyper as I've seen. They were a pretty blue. They also had healthy looking canaries. I glanced at the reptiles they had and the enclosures were clean. I bought a very useful poop scooper there to help me to keep up with my yard :)
