I have been taking Tia to have her nails, trimmed and groomed by Fred for two years now. Fred is very professional, personable, and takes great care with the animals. He is soft-spoken and calls them by name which I think is exceptional because I’m sure that there are many, many dogs that are groomed there. He always goes above and beyond of what is required. He also makes the dog feel safe in his care. His kindness and dedication is a strength that should be acknowledged by management. We love Fred♥️

Ronald at this location is so super sweet and helpful. The other employees were super helpful as well. We adopted our adorable hamster Fendi a couple of weeks ago from this location. She is healthy and loves her food and accessories that we purchased there for her. Thanks Lake Jackson Petsmart!

Petsmart is the McDonalds of pet supplies. They are everywhere and most are very similar. In our case, we were in an unfamiliar area and needed a coat for our dog. Stock was limited after the holidays, but by hitting several as we passed them, we were able to find one that fit perfectly.

Nothing much to say about the store/selection/prices. It's a chain store, you know what to expect. They at least keep it clean. I did want to give a big thank you to Chelsea for helping me today. She was the only employee on the floor, had a long line of customers and took time and care with each one of us. She didn't seem rushed, didn't lose her cool and kept a smile on her face. Bravo!

Picked up some cat grooming supplies and spoke with one of the groomers for tips to help my pet stay calm during combing. The staff were friendly, helpful and patient with my questions. On a side note, they have pets ready to adopt right now, you should stop by and take a look. You might just leave with a new companion to keep you company :-)

My dog's appointment was scheduled for 1:30. I get a call at 5:30 Saying they are running late because she had a difficult dog. I understand but still need to pick my dog up and reschedule. They already bathed my dog and apparently he was standing in his kennel for 4 hours...she said I could come back the next day at a discounted rate. Which means they will charge me full price minus a discount...I had plans and couldn't bring my dog backthe next day.... so they wanted to charge me $33 for the bath!!!. It's not my fault they couldn't get to my dog when they were scheduled to groom him at 1:30! She said it would still be $33. I said No, I scheduled him for a full groom...not paying for something I was not scheduled for. Most importantly, my dog is traumatized and something happened to him while he was there.. He is freaked out and very skittish now.

My son dropped his dog off (my son is 17 and is responsible for his dog), Louis to get a flea shampoo and nails clipped. Louis had a mild reaction to the shampoo and immediately an employee took him to the vet, without hesitation and then contacted my son. Louis is doing good now, THANK YOU PETSMART!

Pet Smart in Lake Jackson is a good spot to take the pets and shop for pet supplies. They have a great selection of dog food, cat food, as well as a large selection of pets. They have some awesome looking kittens waiting for a new home, and all the cat supplies needed to care for that new pet. The store is clean, and the employees were very friendly. My girls were so good they got new toys!

I think its pretty ridiculous to be charged for any little thing at the groomers, If your dog pees or poops while they are grooming them, they charge extra to take them a bath again..If the pet snaps at them, they charge extra..If they see one flee, they charge extra.. we will take our pets elsewhere..

I don't recommend buying anything there! Overpriced all the way! workers are rude!We always bought food there for my dog ​​but now I will look for another store. Also on the shelf where say “CLEARANCE” I took a few things, but when I came to pay, it turned out that the price had not changed. I asked how can this be? to which the cashier rudely answered everything was just mixed up there. And she also answered that she had been working in this store for 5 years and it was always like this 🤷‍♀️. Are you serious? Guess people who work in the store do not care what they have on the shelves and how everything is organized! SHAME ON THESE EMPLOYEES AND STORE!!!

Please, Petsmart Staff, ASK Before petting someones animal. Whether you have experience training or are simply the cashier, respect peoples boundaries with their animals. You dont know what they are training them for or why they are training them a certain way due to the animals specific personality and where they are at in they personal training journey. I tried to be polite about it and that was ignored and the petting persisted. Let me train my animals my way that has worked for such purpose and personality of dogs. Disrespectful. Other than that their service is good but that was very disrespectful im pissed.

Love the grooming salon. The groomers are very friendly and professional. The store is very clean. My only negative is that the air conditioning never seems to be working in the main part of the store, and it tends to be warm and muggy in the summer.
