Love it when HEB has jumbo WILD caught gulf shrimp on sale! Easy meal! Put a dozen on a skewer, drizzle with olive oil, a little Chupacabra seasoning, and grille for 4 or 5 minutes. Lean and high protein!

HEB is the best grocery store chain in the US. Good, affordable food, good selection, and low prices. They treat their employees well, providing health care, college assistance, and professional career training. They also give back to the community with events and local charities.

Not impressed at all. Clean and well stocked yes but employees are rude, the personal shoppers will run over you and keep on going or push you out of the way so they can shop and the parking at my store is horrendous. I had to walk from one end of the parking lot to the other just for UPS services because all the curbside spaces have taken up the side of the lot where other businesses are and HEB customers will also park directly in front of the other businesses making it inconvenient for the customers of those particular businesses

HEB is a great store. This one has been remodeled (almost finished). Went with a friend, I wasn't shopping for myself this time, but it's well organized and well stocked. You can't go wrong at HEB.

Great " smaller " HEB 👍my 98 year old friend and I did not have any problem navigating the store. The one thing that would make it better, is an online directory by isle. Those were common in grocery stores in the past but are not available any longer. You can have an overview of the isles, their numbers and items found in each. It would have enabled us to go directly to the isles we needed and skip the ones we didn't. We had to stop at each isle and read the sign to find out if we needed items from this isle. I have to read the sign to my friend since she cannot see herself. I would think this could be easily done and made accessible on the app. A friendly staff member overheard me reading off the signs to my friend and asked if she could help but we were not able to find anything on the app to help with this problem. 🙏👋

HEB dominates the grocery business. This might be a negative to some BUT they understand the importance of taking care of their customers. Such a key brand and amazing people. I thank the LaVernia staff for hard work, understanding and the highest customer service.

Not sure who has been managing this place during construction. The pharmacy is horrible. The parking is bad...partly because they put the parking for curbside in front. (During construction, while there were already no places to park. They were displaying rotten organic cucumbers. There were no green bell peppers. I will drive to Floresville for a non extremely annoying shopping experience.

It is a clean and spacious location, with parking, car wash, and gas station. The cashier is friendly and willing to help with locating items, which is hard to find on your own.

Went through the drive-thru pharmacy and had to wait a while. One lane is currently closed for construction. Even then it was ok time wise. They seem to be working the one lane as fast as they can.

open late, clean, all departments, 70 mph from 1604 really quick trips. Currently renovating but still open without disruption, brand new curbside parking right in front with many spots. Great selection, great delivery and app. Any problems and its always immediately solved by a live person who will call the store, driver, everyone for you, heb is there for their products, all the way through

They're doing a lot of construction. Half the parking lot closed off. When you go and get your meds through the drive-thru. They only have one lane open. Instead of both lanes open. There's a long line of traffic through the drive-thru to get meds. It's hard to park in the parking lot

Welcoming place to shop.The parking is a little cramped, although the new additions have helped, the spaces to park did not expand.If you have a truck, which most do out here, the parking lot is tricky to maneuver.There are plenty of places to leave the cart once the groceries are loaded.The store is becoming more organized and less like a scavenger hunt.The people who work there are very nice, very helpful.In spite of the on going construction, HEB is doing a great job keeping everything going.

Given the lack of options for local grocery stores...can you really rate this one? The employees are awesome...occasionally you can't find the product you want...these days that is more about the logistics than anything. Pre-Covid we did ask on a couple occasions to stock certain things, and though they said yes...they never did. So, they may say sure, but don't expect it. They have everything someone needs and the employees are helpful. My wife and aren't too pleased with the plus sizing happening, but hope it results in a larger selection. We moved to small town TX for a reason. I am really not happy to see 30.06 and 30.07 posted. Really HEB? TX goes Constitutional Carry and HEB goes against 2A...never did I expect that from a TX born, TX based, company. If I had other options in town (or close), I'd take my business elsewhere. If that's a corporate policy, they should be ashamed and rethink it. If that is a local manager decision, get a new manager. Those lawfully permitted and carrying are NOT the problem. They aren't even part of the problem.

Store is remodeling and it's a crazy mess right now. Couldn't find half the stuff I needed. Which i know is to be expected but Just going to start going to a different HEB. Very disappointed

Always great at curbside!!I forgot to order Milk, asked the young lady if there was any way she could get it added to my order, (I had broken my toe and did not want to walk on it) with a nice smile and great attitude she said let me check. A few minutes later she came out with the milk!!Thank you HEB for hiring such nice and helpful people!!!!

In my humble opinion, this HEB is the best. On many occasions, I have seen the manager bagging and today he was working a register. That's great leadership! It builds a team spirit and morale. I enjoyed my visit today! My son and I even tried the seafood boil. It was delicious.

I'm still lost . I spend more time walking through reading the isle signs. I apologize to all the people that I've bumped into with my cart. I'm lost here. I know where the milk, cheese, meats and veggies are. Everything else is a seek and find mission. Be patient, please, I will get it, one day. Other than that, I love the place.

LOVE the new addition & upgrade, but have a couple of gripes…AISLES: When they set up the aisles, they are only 2 1/2 shopping carts wide, so if you have folks looking at the shelves on both sides of the aisle, you’re stuck until one of them moves. The freezer section has wider aisles, so this isn’t a problem there.PRODUCTS: You would think with the expansion, there would be more products available. What we’re finding is that some of our favorite products disappeared when they expanded.

Dont think that you're missing out on anything by making this "small town" HEB your grocer of choice. If anything, i prefer it ober even central market back when I lived in Almao Heights. For one, the customer service is second to none, and they are never understocked. I guess if theres anything to complain about its tge 12 am closing time, but who really does the majority of their shopping then anyway? Their pbarmacy will go above and beyond whatever you need, and if they say your script will be ready in 45 mins, its usually ready in 30! Once again, HEB has shown that no matter where they are, they are simply the best.

Shopping here is always easy and smooth. They have just enough registers open for the amount of people shopping. I would like to recognize a gentleman named Ryan. He bagged my groceries and asked if I needed help out. He then proceeded to help me out. As he was done helping me load my groceries in my vehicle, he went over to the lady next to me and helped her load her groceries in her vehicle. That is what I call great customer service! Thankyou Ryan.

I went to drop my script and they said about 30 min. Cause I was waiting. Not even 10 min. Later my two prescriptions were finished. I was so happy. Cause i was tired from the day. Pharmacist Pam , Gabriel , and the rest of the staff work miracles together. Thanks again HEB RX
