I recently visited Gecko World Austiny and had an amazing experience. As a reptile enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed with the variety of reptiles they had available and the knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to answer any questions I had. (I recommend talking to Tristan. He’s a real arachnid enthusiast and his customer service is phenomenal). The first thing I noticed when I walked into the store was how clean and well-maintained all the enclosures were. Each reptile had plenty of space to move around and the appropriate heating and lighting for their specific needs. It was clear that the staff at this store prioritize the well-being of their animals.The selection of reptiles was also impressive. They had everything from bearded dragons to ball pythons to chameleons. I spent a good amount of time just browsing and admiring all the different species. The prices at this reptile store were also very reasonable. Overall, my experience at this reptile store was fantastic. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about reptiles. The selection and quality of the reptiles and supplies were top-notch, and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this store to any reptile enthusiast or anyone looking to add a reptile to their family. I will definitely be returning for any future reptile needs

I enjoy looking at per stores when traveling. This place was well worth stopping for. It's not very big but they've got quite a bit to look at.If you are into bioactive setups they have the best isopod selection I've ever seen at a single place. Have you ever seen a rubber ducky?There is much more than just geckos to look at here.The people working there are very nice too and it looks like they take amazing care of ALL their critters.

Tristan is always awesome when we go in here. His knowledge and customer service skills are top notch! The whole staff is amazing. If you need some reptile assistance this is the place to go. Their reptile selection is by far one of the better ones I’ve seen. Their animals are healthy and seem to be well taken care of. This is where you should buy a reptile if you’re in the market.

Been going to this place for years. Got my lily white and all his enclosures and food from this place. It has been a real blessing. Speaking of blessings the staff is a huge one. From the knowledge of the animals to how to build enclosure. It's really rare to find a business that's run like this, and I plan on continuing to go here for my reptile needs.

Incredible staff and ownership. 5 stars is not enough.. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They have an incredible selection of animals, feeders, and habitats which is great but they also take time to explain details about each one of them. No matter what you select you will walk out feeling knowledgeable and prepared. The owner is also frequently in the store..he took the time to build us an amazing living habitat for the crested geckos we bought. He involved the kids in the building process which was not necessary but extremely kind. If your interested in animals in the least I would highly suggest a visit, you will not be disappointed.

This certainly is a hidden gem of Kyle and I absolutely love every little creature there! Kai is by far the best employee I’ve ever had the honor of talking to, please give that girl a raise 🙏 The workers there are so passionate about the animals there and I absolutely would recommend going even if it’s just to browse!

This is by far the best Austin reptile shop I have found. The animals for sale are all very well cared for, clearly labeled and reasonably priced. I also love their online feeder subscription service. In total honesty though, I wish their website was more up to date with animals. We drove out to purchase our crested gecko on good reviews and were able to find one we liked but it would be nice to see inventory ahead of a trip. We also did not get a hatch date for our gecko until I reached out after purchase to the owner. It would be nice to have had an info card about her. Other than that, excellent shop with knowledgeable employees and well-cared for animals. We love the baby crestie we took home and she’s growing great!

Simply the best. I've gotten almost all of my animals from here and they were all healthy when I got them checked out and are now thriving. I also get all my feeders and isopods from here. Great selection on animals and invertebrates. Most of the animals are yearlings so be sure to do your research before you make your purchase & know that most of those animals WILL need to upgrade to a bigger enclosure. If you have questions about anything their employees are very knowledgeableHope this helps some people out

Amazing experience when you shop here. The staff really shows their passion by their work. We purchased a very larger bioactive set up for my 9 year old male crested gecko along with two more females. The owner lent me a strap when I came back to pick everything up after they set it up and the team helped load the terrarium into the truck as well. By far above and beyond on customer service. Came back a couple of weeks later and purchased two more geckos along with some other needs. It’s a bit of a drive from where I’m located but always well worth it!

My partner and I absolutely love gecko world!! We come in weekly for feeders and have bought many quality, beautiful, well kept animals from Sean and the employees. There is always a wide variety of critters for sale, and Jellybean is always ready for some scritches. Sean and his team have built a legendary destination for supplies, support, and most of all, incredible animals. My partner and I have trusted Gecko World with the purchase of our first panther chameleon, biak GTP, orchid mantis, and more. Despite its humble exterior, you won't find a better place to learn about and invest in herps and other exotic animals.

Staff and owner are so welcoming, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Store is organized and clean. The animals are all very obviously well taken care of. They have all the feeders you'd ever need even more difficult to find ones, everything you need for bioactive setups. Very pleased with the 2 geckos I've gotten so far.

I adore this shop! The animals are all in clean, natural enclosures and the selection is fabulous. The staff has excellent knowledge and everything in the store from feeders to supplies is high quality. They have some of the best dubia roaches and crickets and their rodents (mice and rats) are top notch!I always love coming in and seeing the various crested geckos, leachies, bearded dragons, and many other reptiles they keep in the store. It's also one of the few local places you can purchase ExoTerra products.

Highly recommend this place. Got two crested geckos and a tank built by the owner at a reasonable price. Tank came out perfect!! They always help me out when ever I got questions about my crested geckos. Definitely check these people out. Super friendly/helpful employees. Love this place a lot. Honestly I could work here for free and wouldn’t even mind it. Also jelly bean is the coolest and sweetest Pierre dog ever!

Fantastic bioactive setups, amazing selection of animals, caring staff, massive selection of feeders insects and rodents, and a great place to go in general. One of my favorite things about Geckoworld is the Prarie dog mascot Jellybean. He's funny and very social and sweet. Would recommend stopping by and checking it out. I got my chameleon from them and he's amazing.

I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with whom I believe is the owner at HERPS Conroe over the weekend. I picked up this beautiful Northern Blue Tongue Skink from him and he also had other healthy reptiles on display at the expo.Not only did he answer all my questions regarding my purchase, he also gave me tips and recommendations on how he also care for his reptiles. I felt confident in my purchase and have no buyer’s remorse!I will certainly have to stop by their brick and mortar store the next time I’m in Austin for my next purchase!

We bought our 2 month old Bearded Dragon from Gecko World Austin. He is already tamed and very healthy. He has obviously been well taken care of and handled by the breeder. This makes it well worth the purchase price. Gecko World Austin has also been helpful about providing information for his care after our purchase. Thank you for raising him so well!
