I used to love going into this store. It's convenient b/c it's literally around the corner from my house and it was always well put together and clean, but ever since Ms. Gloria has been gone, the store has gone to shiiiiiiiiit. It's ALWAYS DIRTY when I come in now. The floors look like they haven't seen a mop since being under Ms. Gloria's management and I'm sure that's been over a year or close to it. There's always boxes and carts with things that haven't made it to the shelves and moving thru the store is like a maze. The new manager doesn't seem to care about the store nearly as much, and it shows. She's never smiling and obviously barely working with the store being so nasty. If it weren't so conveniently close I'd definitely never step foot inside again. Do better! Most of US in this community are disappointed in the care of once a nice and clean and prepared store to shop at.

Does this location always have to close when they get product? Or did they just have call outs? 3 people guarding the door but no one can check people out? Idk maybe update the hours so people don't waist their time going.

Management and staff is horrible and attacks customers verbally and denies service if they don’t stay quiet and complacent in line. Absolute worst dollar general in Killeen and that’s saying something.

This is the most unorganized / messiest store in Killeen! They always have the carts full of inventory all up & down EVERY isle every day where some isles you can't even get down with or without a cart!

Ok so this night I had bad heartburn so I stopped in to get some anti-acid at the Hells’ kitchen Killeen dollar general and I go to buy my 4$ anti-acid and it rang up 5.25$ and bells went off in my head …. That’s not 8.25% if there’s even a tax…. So I brought it to the cashier attention and we both went back to the shelf and yupIt’s 4$…. We get back to the register and he tries to keep over charge me… then “Jen” the not in uniform lady started yelling at me and say she will throw me out and then her son threatens to get physical with me by taking me out himself!!!! I ended paying 4$ and had the police answer the threat but the son left before the police showed…. Worst store easily for Killeen !!!!

I visit most of the stores in the area. They are all very friendly pretty much. And always seem to have what I'm searching for and then some by the time I get to the register haha. I don't care for the stoking shelves because it takes up the isle. I personally wish that could wait until after closing or before they open. Just my thoughts.

Well the Dollar General here on Hallmark is it good Dollar General there's really no waiting lines the people that are polite stores clean there's no bums on the outside asking for cash and it's easily accessible it has a wheelchair ramp and it stays open long time and they usually have a lot of items for sale very good store

They always have a very friendly person at the register and always willing to help you out. Its really rare when I don't find what I'm looking for. What I love the most is the sales they have going on and the cashier makes sure to tell people...

Probably the biggest dg I've been too. Have a great selection of cold foods and other misc items. Always a go to place before going across town to Walmart. Sometimes there is only one lane open and the store stays pretty busy.

I love this store even though its located in a high crime area, but I mean what part of killeen isn't. The management team do a very great job at keeping their customers feeling safe at the store. Besides that, the only thing is that if you are trying to coupon there, make sure to ask management what they accept and do not accept. They are different from the other dollar general stores. They do not accept printed manufacture coupons, they must be paper insert coupons. They do not fallow the dollar general app coupon policy either. There management team follows different protocol! I've asked them to put a sign up regarding this, that way it can be easier for couponers, and less hassle on both parties!

My father whom is a veteran as well as a senior citizen was so badly disrespected that we will never be returning here again. we drive out of our way to now go to the store on ft hood st even though this is closest. He was buying cigarettes but his ID was expired. Ha can see the birthday and he had a paper copy of his ID renewal but instead of offering assistance or explaining it to him they decided it was better to be rude and disrespectful. I called the store 10 times it was in the evening not busy at all and no one answered!!

Decent store. Middle walkway was packed with racks so you couldn't fit a cart down the Center between the front and back half of the store. And they had some type of VERY loud and obnoxious recording that would play every time the door opened. And it would say, "thank you for coming to Dollar General you are being monitored and recorded for your safety and security. thank you for visiting Dollar General". I think I heard that repeated over 40 times in the 25 to 30 minutes I was there.

I practically live here and very rarely have to go some where else because they don't have what I need or want. Staff for the most part is super friendly and helpful. Always polite and willing to help or answer questions.

I love hobby lobby. I'm a nail tech so I go for the Swarovski crystals, but I always find so much more. They always have amazing SPECIALS. The staff is awesome as well

Located in a high crime rated area of killeen is this Dollar General. This place has more security cameras then a bank. It's a good store to buy stuff on the cheap. It has the same items any other dollar General has. I would drive a couple of minutes to the next dollar general!

The colored dude is very disrespectfull to everybody and he has this very uncomfortable and stalking look to every woman that walks in the store,I totally be happy if he gets fired

Don't go to this store, I waited outside for 20 mins waiting to get tissue only to be told I can't come in until another hour because they only let 65 yr old and older in the store for the 1st hour. After I've talked with someone 2 days prior on the best time for me to come to get it.

I frequent this Dollar Store especially when I don't want to go to HEB or Walmart because of the crowd I can usually find what I need for a good price and employees are always friendly courteous
