Great service, usually. I wanted to update this review since the last one was too short.If you want good - personal service and a decent selection - check them out. Nearly all the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.In fact one young lady (I wish I remembered her name) asked what I was looking for when I told her it was not on the shelf but maybe in one of the totes in the back. She asked where it would be on the shelf, wrote down the item number, when to the back, found it in the tote and brought it to me. (All this after another employee just "blew me off.") Like I said, usually great service and when I get the young lady's name, I will update this and let the manager know! She is a keeper!I will continue to shop at East Texas Hardware, I believe in supporting small/locally owned businesses.

I bought a display saw from them found that it throws a breaker but when any other one is plugged in its fine. Now they will not return it and it's been 2 days. I recommend you go anywhere else plus everything is over charged. They said it don't have a box and that's how they sold it to me. That's not how to do business. I will not return and I can assure you nobody in my family will either. Over 45 dollars. Congrats thanks blonde manager. And I have a reciept.. good show the lying g response to this I have a receipt yall just don't want to do what's right. Yall are sorry

A nice and very helpful place to shop. Employees are extremely helpful and do not hesitate to direct one to other retailers/wholesalers when they don't have a product on hand. Fair prices to boot as well. Truly a rare trait in these times.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. At least four employees asked if they could help me, or if I was finding everything I needed. I wasn't even in the store 30 minutes. I don't give five stars for anyone. If the pricing was a little better, this would get my very best rating. I still give it a 4.5. The highest I have ever rated.

I shipped a box UPS today. The young man at the shipping counter was friendly, knowledgeable and very HOT. Someone needs to get him at least a fan for heavens sake. Highly recommend them especially for UPS shipping

I've been to this store many times. The staff is especially helpful and we are able to get what we need quickly. In addition to the normal things you would expect to find at a hardware they also stock unique home decor and outdoor furniture.

I keep reading about their great customer service. It's pushing 2 weeks now, and I'm still waiting to see it.I finally found the Case knife in the color I wanted on their website. It said it was in stock, so I ordered it. I'll give them credit, the shipping was very fast, unfortunately, they sent the wrong knife. I've contacted them several times now. I sent pics of what I received, and the the invoice as proof. I have not gotten a single response from them. It now says the knife is out of stock on the website. I'm beginning to think they didn't have it in stock when I ordered, and they just tried to substitute a different color, hoping I wouldn't say anything, and now they're ignoring me. Yeah, Outstanding customer service!
