I thought it was just a fluke the first time but yesterday was just as bad. Corporate decisions are losing customers. When you don't care enough to give your employees the tools they for success, then success will never be realized. Corporate people made the decision to get a building with not stock room or storage are so the only thing you can do is use the sales floor to hold stock. When customers can't get to the product they want, they leave without buying anything. UPDATE! TWICE this summer this store has shut down due to no air conditioning. Today, it's apparent the situation hasn't even fixed. Reached for a hersheys chocolate bar and when I pi ked it up, it was obviously melted. On the shelf. Aisles still bLocked by new stock. Obviously the ow er is not retail or customer oriented. 03/06/23 Very heavy set gentleman had two full cash tills sitting on the counter, turning his back on them several times. Tried to start a friendly conversation but being rudely interrupted he turned and stared speaking to another man. Did not know they were employees, no name badges. No Hello, no " is that all?" And no thank you. AJ needs training, certainly not management material.

So I just erased the entire review I gave and I want to start over they have new management new employees Dollar general is getting a lot better here in Liberty City I'll give you two thumbs up a solute to Liberty City Dollar the new store manager has really turned things around there is room for improvement but there has been a lot of improvement since the last review

I love the ladies that work there but this store has gotten more expensive than walmart on alot of things! I'm not goin to be to shop there like I used to.And the aisles always blocked!!You don't carry any tea or tapered candles?? They are emergency lights!I couldn't believe you don't carry either?? I can't afford to buy 4 different kinds of batteries if a storm comes!

Always friendly employees. It's a little crowded and there's always only one cashier up front. The self checkout is never in use. They run out of items alot.

Great little store. Crowed isles but the entire store remodel start tomorrow. Wednesday August 19' 2020. Two weeks or less as usual the store will be closed for renovations. Nice staffers front line warriors that are not paid nearly enough.

Well, this used to be my favorite Dollar General to stop in. Always super clean and organized and by far the friendliest and most helpful staff of any DG.... until now. I'm not sure what has happened, but it's awful now. You can't get down the isles because they always blocked completely And dear God don't go anywhere close to closing time because the 2 new nite employees will start rushing you 20 min to close and if your not at the check out line before 9 they will not check you out period. They almost made me and my husband leave without our things tonight, it was 10 till 9. We would have been done in plenty of time, but we were forced to rush even faster. They were completely rude about it, just awful. They could have just nicely noted the time and asked all the customers to wrap up their shopping. Just an awful experience.

The cashier was extremely nice and helpful. I was glad to see that this store has more product choices, however the store really does need to expand as far as space in order to accommodate the extra products as the isles are so narrow that you can BARELY go down the isle with your shopping cart.

Store had a lot of good sales but was really crowded. With people and the aisles are so close it's difficult to get down them. Staff was friendly.

This location is close to home. So, I run in for last minutes items..like chocolate...or just to wander around. Wish it was bigger though.The employees are always kind and seem to work really hard keeping merchandise stocked.

I like to bargain shop as much as the next person, but when you walk in the door and see 8 or more people in line with 1 cashier makes you want to say screw it and go to Walmart.. which I love by the way..

I’m so tired of seeing a long line of customers in the evening times and only one cashier working. The other cashier is always outside on her phone and smoking a cigarette. If this don’t change I will be posting pictures on Facebook when this happens again.
